Guest Smues Report post Posted January 10, 2009 Given that we have like half a dozen computers in my house I decided that I'm going to risk one and install the beta. If it ever finishes downloading. The beta was launched yesterday but due to high demand they took it down for awhile and I'm just now able to start the download. It's valid for 6 months so I figured what the hell. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 I would not suggest upgrading your existing Vista OS... I mean, it's a non-final Beta and it expires around August. Guest Smues Report post Posted January 11, 2009 I did an upgrade install. It's not on my main machine, and I have the needed discs to revert back to XP later, so I'm not too worried. The only downside was I didn't have service pack 1 installed, so I had to download and install that, which took for fucking ever. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Burn Windows 7 IMG to disc and insert Install to new partition ? Then when you start up the computer it automatically lets you choose which OS you want to boot up right?
