What's the deal with easy questions?

Jerry Seinfeld.

Who's the "big guy that's still alive" Mr. James is reminded of? BONUS: Name the dead one, too.

He said the end, so I don't think Seinfeld is the correct answer. They see Seinfeld at the restaurant early in the episode. I think both Bill & Lisa rush out at the end of the episode, but unfortunately, I can't remember who they were trying to get.

Areacode's answer is 14, though.

The episode where Bill has the problems w/ the security guards & his ID card was on yesterday, too. In it, Bill mentioned WNYX being on the 14th floor.

OOH!! OOH!! I know!!

Howie Mandel.

Here's one: Name as many of Max's characters he said he played on other stations as you can.

Shit, I knew it wasn't Seinfeld, but I, ah....didn't understand the question. So it's you at fault, you bastard.

Delicious. I'm not even gonna touch the Max question.

Maybe I'll bring myself to watch that horrible Max episode :shudder:

Spaceman, I'll try and make those CDs tomorrow.

100 posts woo-hoo. Now if they ever release a ten episode NewsRadio DVD what episodes should they put on. These are my picks-

Note: These aren't my top 10 but I think they'd make a good DVD.

The Real Deal

Planbee

Public Domain

Pilot

Flowers for Matthew

Goofy Ball

Bill Moves On

Daydream

Complaint Box

Airport

Now for features- Commentary would be great as would deleted scenes and maybe some cast-n-crew interviews.

Thoughts?

I think they're speaking aboot an illegal comp of episodes....tsk tsk tsk...

You know you love those illegal downloadable episodes. You loooooooooooooooooooooooooove them.

Anyway, let's do some more trivia. We'll leave the Max question on the back burner until we bring ourselves to watch that ep. I actually forced myself to sit through "Meet Max Louis" to see if the answer was in there (I don't think it was).

So....what are the lyrics to "Come Back, Lisa" (the song Stewart's band wanted to record) ?

Guest bob_barron

Yes I admit- I'm addicted to downloading episodes. But I didn't know it was illegal- I swear!

Anywho aren't the only words come back lisa

No! There was a bit of clever rhyming action.

Hey, did you see we (as a whole) got mentioned in Jay Spree's MonDVDay News Update?

We did? Coool...

Actually, there is one bright spot in this week’s lineup: Kids In The Hall's Brain Candy. I guess you’ve really got to be a Kids In The Hall (or at least a Dave Foley) fan to get the most out of this disc, being as it’s TOTALLY bare bones (albeit, anamorphic), but since there are so many NewsRadio fans out there (especially on our boards), I’m guessing most people reading will be picking this up.

So, were you guys Kids in the Hall fans too? The reason I started watching NewsRadio in the first place was because it was somewhat hyped as being both really good and the return of Dave Foley to TV, after KITH ended. Dave wasn't even my favorite Kid, but I was a fan of KITH in general so I decided to check it out.

Unfortunately, shortly after "Pilot" aired, I moved back to NYC where my NBC reception SUCKED (and still does), so I didn't really re-discover the show until syndication :(

All I've seen are episodes on Comedy Central.

I've been a KITH fan since I was like eight.

KITH sounds like a gay Knightrider.

Whoa, that's phat, yo! I like the Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor one better than the Junior Jimmy Brigade one.

Anybody going to get one of those shirts?

Guest areacode212

I agree, the Rocket Fuel T-shirt is delicious. If I were to get one (which I might), that's the one I'd pick. It has a neat little design (is it actually based on the bottle label in the episode? I think it flashes on screen for less than a second), but the Jimmy James one looks really low-budget, like a "Grandma & Grandpa went to <x> and got me this crappy t-shirt" t-shirt.

By the way, let me point out that these aren't "official" NR t-shirts, but they were designed by a NR fan (who calls herself America Girl).

Alister McCello, Jazzmanian Devil, Dr. Dan, Charlie Chowder, Johnny Tumbleweed. There were more, but these are the ones I could make out.

Next up: At what point in the Star Wars timeline does the Space episode take place?
