I've said this before, but Vicki Lewis is so on in this episode. From the opening scene to the Jumble scene, to the scene where she unveils Stargate Defender, to how great her ass looks in that skirt. Plus, she she says "loooooooooove" in this episode. Oh yeah!

"Looooooooooove" was the previous episode (Katherine's Desk/Breakroom Snacks episode). She says it to Joe re: Katherine and to Katherine re: Joe.

Unless I missed it in "Arcade".

She says it when she does the jumble ("How did the mixed doubles team fare in the big match? Answer: They...Fell In.....looooooooooove"). It's not as obnoxious as it was in the Katherine/Joe scene, but still, it's there! Yet another answer to a pointless NewsRadio trivia question, if you ever need to know it.

Daydream was on today!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else think it would've been mega awesome had they revealed that Jimmy James rigged the awards ceremony

Damn, I missed taping today's 2 episodes. Grrrr...

The James Caan episode, on the whole, was not very funny. Lisa was hot, which kinda saves it.

That is all...

Would anyone mind telling me what episode aired first today? I was at Best Buy for thirty minutes (or, in Best Buy time...three hours) and missed it.

The episode that speaks to me-

The one where we learn Dave is a Canadian.

I'm like moving to Canada so I can indentify with it

I loved the James Caan episode cause I've met like a lot of famous people so the thought of someone acting like that just strikes me as really funny. I really think James Caan blended in well and was wickedly funny.

"I can't believe he didnt punch me"

"I can't believe he punched me"

Meh. I hardly laughed during that episode. It just didn't work for me, I guess. I liked the Dave/Lisa storyline better.

Well then you're stupid.

Eh I guess I'm a mark for any storyline with Bill.

The Canadian episode speaks to me too because, like Dave, I'm a Canadian who moved to the U.S. and got mocked for it. The other kids didn't think I was a spy, but they thought Canadians were gross or something.

Just because we're Canadians DOES NOT MEAN WE'RE GROSS!!!

Anyway, I thought it was clever that they managed to explain why Dave, the Wisconsinite, had a Canadian accent.

"Well, I'm not sure you have that right"

"Look, I do too, eh!"

"What's this all abo....er, um, uh..."

Say about.

House.

Out.

Areacode- I'm the opposite of Dave. I'm going to Canada.

BUT I'M NOT A SPY GOD DAMNIT!

Also- if I ever meet Jimmy Caan I swear I'm telling him my name is Donald

Another awesome episode today - "Complaint Box" (or whatever the title is)

The voice box for Jimmy while he is away fishing, as well as the complaint box outside Dave's office.

Norm was in Complaint Box!

Well his voice was

ah that was a great episode..

lately i've been watching it, and I found the best episode so far that I have watched is when Matthew and Bill have their character's changed, so Matthew is suppose to be the big guy, and bill is his bitch. I never laughed so hard in my life

I love that episode. My favorite part is the scene where Bill is telling family stories.

Bill: My father had just taken a night out on the town which extended to a week and my mother asked him "John, is there anything you won't drink?". So he says to her "Posion! I'm saving it for you!". Me and my brother, who's now an alcoholic, just about died laughing......good times

What's up w/ A&E not showing the holiday-themed episodes. They didn't show either of the X-Mas shows, nor the Halloween one where Dave dresses up as a woman.

All 3 should have been aired according to the original schedule.

And one of today's episodes features the Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor ads :)

Guest bob_barron

They show them around the holiday.

Damn- Rocket Fuel Malt Liquor

Well, that's lame. I don't want to wait until December for the X-Mas episodes. By then, we'll be well into the second go-around for the episodes.

That messes up my taping schedule

Just moments ago, Inside Edition ran a story about Phil Hartman. Was it about his career? No. Was it about his legacy as a comedian? Of course not. Was it a tribute? What do you think Inside Edition is, a good show? It was an interview with the man that bought Phil's home, and a tour of rooms like where "Hartman bled to death in a t-shirt and shorts" and where his wife hid the gun and where their children slept.

There was no reason for Inside Edition to do this story. Phil Hartman died over four years ago. What reason did the "news" magazine that is Inside Edition have for doing this story? Why did a man allow cameras to probe inside his home (I guess he was paid) while a reporter narrates to us the grim details of May 28, 1998? Why couldn't this story have been upbeat, showing us career highlights, instead of a little SNL, one second of NewsRadio ("Space"), and a few candid shots of Phil and family? Why was it instead a tour of a home that looks very little like it did four years ago (and for the worse...no taste). At least the owner, a security exec or something, kept the children's playhouse and basketball goal up, in case they return for closure. Good for him...

Look, maybe I'm just pissed over nothing, but this story was pointless, tasteless, and almost made Phil appear in a bad light. I can barely enjoy NewsRadio without being reminded of reading the CNN headline "Phil Hartman Dead". I don't need to see this.

Sorry for the rant.

Those fucking motherfuckers. I agree- Why not do a tribute???

I remember finding out Phil's death like it was yesterday.

At 4:55 I was listening to the radio and they were gonna do a preview of the local tv news.

Dana Tyler: We'll have more on the shocking death of Phil Hartman.

My ears perked up and I thought they were talking about someone else, maybe someone with the name or something. Then at 5:00 I heard the news officially. I just remember my dad and I talking about it for a long time

RIP Phil- You'll always be loved and remembered.

::revives thread::

The "Chock Full of Notes" episode was on today. All 3 other members (besides Dave) have played multiple characters.

And they skipped another episode - the talent show one where the staff won Matthew his job back.

Yea- I got someone really into NR and they're like: How did Matthew come back??

Season 4 rules!!!

Was that a holiday episode? I don't remember it as one.
