Wow - that was a damn fine show.

 

I was wondering if the ladder match would just be a spotfest, and I'm really glad it wasn't. And, despite knowing full well (or predicting full well, whichever) 'Taker to win, when Taker ran into the ring, then was Hurricanrana'd right back out, I marked for a Hardy win. It wouldn't have been good for the business at all, but it still woulda been fun to see. Excellent match.

 

Benoit/Guerrero lose the Dudleyz? At least they got the last laugh.

Good Raw tonight. Benoit wasn't so bad in the ring considering that Guerrero/Benoit vs. Bubba Ray and Spike Dudley was his first match back, though I wish Guerrero and Benoit were feuding with some higher wrestlers on the card, but maybe they will be after they're through feuding with the Dudley Boyz(Bubba and Spike).

Only one really bad segment tonight..the whole Molly/Trish thing...even though Molly did a good beatdown on Jackie.

 

The show was good and fast paced, I thought. RVD vs. Brock is already booked for Vengeance, which means they may be thinking long term here.

Good RAW and ME as well. Thank god Taker won. I was really worried a couple times there. Pretty good when they can almost make me buy Jeff beating Taker for the title.

 

So, RVD and Jericho will most likely be for the SS title shot, wouldn't you say? Where are they taking us? Brock/Rock at SS, or RVD/Taker? Doesn't seem like they'll go with RVD/Taker, because it looks like Taker is turning face, but maybe that's just to play face in his match with Angle. Will my boy Angle win the title? Now I'm pissed that Austin is gone. Benoit looked good tonight. But why didn't he get at least a win?

I thought the ladder match was pretty boring but Jeff Hardy bumped his ass off.

Jeff didn't win =0[, but it's still pretty cool because even though he didn't win, Taker put him over anyway. I was jumping in my seat when Jeff was touching the belt and I haven't done that during a wrestling match in a while. They did an awesome job promoting this match, 10 times better than the main event to the last pay per view and the last pay per view's main event got a month build while this match got a week. Things are looking up right now for the time being and i'm liking it.

Shortest Tag Title Reign is Edge & Christian who won the titles from the Hardys on a RAW in 2001, and lost it to the Dudleys later in the show.

I was there. It was in Albany, NY in March of 2001. Big markout moment seeing Spike and Rhyno. That was the night Y2J pissed in Regal's tea as well.

There was an awesome Essa Rios Vs Low Ki match on metal that show. it was the match of the night even with the main event of Regal, Angle, and Benoit Vs Jericho and The Rock.

I'm going to have to wait till Friday to see Raw, but from the descriptions so far, it sounds like a must see.

Good RAW, and I have no problem with Eddy jobbing considering where it led. It would have been better if Benoit clobbered Eddy afterwards, but it may be asking too much for a Benoit/Guerrero feud.

 

Jeff/Taker was far from the worst ladder match ever. It wasn't great, but it was fun.

 

The NWO interview was useless as usual, but everything else was alright.

I'd say the Hardy/RVD ladder match was the worst I've seen.

Yea i guess i'm not the only one that thought Raw was a solid show top to bottom Brock and Flair was good, the women found a way to get tv with out another match at least it was creative hey i have no problem seeing Molly's ass and i'm sure it will be on someones sig tommarrow Nwo was useless but at least its an angle thats leading to something and btw is ne one not convinced it was Kane that took out X-pac i also thought the ladder match was solid not a spot fest like others but solid wrestling taker took a wicked chair shot always glad to see that very good show from top to Molly's bottom

Contrary to the status quo, I like how Brock's progressing. It helps that I'm pretty patient.

 

But I really wish they'd drop the Molly degradation already... is that any way to build up your champ?

 

I can't believe how the crowd was really behind Spike getting the hot tag. And kudos to Benoit and Guerrero... doing the job so that everyone comes out looking good.

 

Lots of clean pins... I think the WW_ is finally listening to the fans.

 

Anyone know why Chris Harvard looked like HBK after the Syracuse incident?

 

I stopped watching once Nash and HBK were heading for the ring, and came back for the Main Event. But I caught bits and pieces of the nWold gabfest. Did Shawn the Rockette superkick Big Show?

 

And does anyone else smell a rehash of "Will DDP join the nWo?" Look for HHH to take the shirt, pedigree Nash, then leave through the crowd. Then 2 weeks later, he'll "swerve" us all and join anyway. Hooray. Watch as I jump for joy.

How is SmackDown's HHH gonna join Raw's nWo? Have HHH lead the 'SmackDown nWo' and wear black and blue, and the 'Raw nWo' wear red and black?

 

And who from Raw will go to SmackDown to 'compensate' for the loss of Benoit? Not Brock, as it was talked about, he's fueding with RVD. Taker? But he's the champ. Does that mean he'd lose it to Angle (!!!) on Thursday and then stay on SmackDown to fued with Rock? Questions, questions.

 

Anyway, above average-very good Raw, solid card with good action. ***1/2 to the ladder match.

Haven't seen the whole thing yet. I'm not sure I got all the nWo stuff, but the Superkick was cool. And for the record, I think the nWo should break up. Any group that can make me stop caring about my all time favorite wrestler deserves to die.

 

As for Hardy and Taker...they really had me thinking Jeff was gonna win there. I had this nervous feeling in my stomach that I haven't had since...well...since Chyna/Lita at Judgment Day to tell the truth. Marking out is fun!

Good show, but all that hype leads to a crappy ladder match that does nothing but turn the Taker? It's not like the fans weren't cheering for him already.

 

So it's RVD v. Brock at Vengance. I'd go with a suggestion that someone brought up last week about the match being 2 falls: 1 for the IC title, the

other for the Summerslam main. Sad to see Flair's "last big run" be nothing but jobbing.

at the risk of sounding like a 13 year old girl, I will absolve what was pretty much a crappy Raw because of a ladder match that had me hopping around my living room like an ass.

 

and goddamitt I love Jeff Hardy now. and that's a hell of a feat for wwe.

 

in reality, even the ladder match itself was crappy, but it doesn't matter, because the whole place went batshit, and most of the people at home probably did too. score one for the hype machine.

For whoever thought tonight's ladder match was bad - WHY did you think it was bad?

 

I think Taker's "taking his time, slow methodical pace" got a little excessive in some spots, but other than that I thought it was good.

I mean...the ending was great...and I know we all had some kind of emotional reaction to it (whether that be excitement or outright fear) but cmon. The first 10 minutes were among the most boring thing ever.
