Hmm... Not bad but not good eather.

Three matches? Three Matches? What has been going on here!?

Lets get into some real news:

Just got back from the IWA Mid-South show in Plymouth, IN... which was my last. Due to the unfair treatment and subsequent termination of BJ Whitmer on Friday night in Herrin, in combination with money issues and the general direction of things, I, along with Danny Daniels, Brad Bradley, and Kevin Harvey all elected to leave the promotion. It's just not a place we're comfortable working anymore, and I'm sad things have gotten this way.

Someone like BJ has been there since 2000, yet was put in a horrible position, and was simply discarded and treated as though he's expendable, and for no reason that is at all justifiable. It should've never happened. He should have never been put in such a position. And it shouldn't ever happen to anyone else. I will not let it happen to me.

IWA-MS was a great place for young talent to gain valuable ring experience and pay their dues a few years ago, and it was the opportunities given to us that helped us all improve in our own way and come to realize our potential. There comes a point, however, when it's expected that we be treated with more dignity than the greenhorns who work their way into the promotion, looking to pay such dues.

I thank IWA Mid-South for the opportunities and the experiences I've had working there since July of 1997. I learned a great deal there, but it's time to move on.

Looking forward to FIPping it up in Crystal River and Bushnell this coming weekend, and then ROH in Dayton and Chicago Ridge the following weekend.

From Dave Prazak's Live Journal...

Japanese independent pro-wrestler Dino (who plays a gay wrestling character) took on a video game columnist named "Masked de Spike" in a series of Fire-Pro Wrestling matches. Quite the odd visual.

Wow...so know we know what that blog was all about from last week...

Kawada replacing Barnett in the G-1 tournament appears to have produced a minimal effect, as fans can still get a ticket for most sections of seating for all of the upcoming tour shows. The estimated business for this tour appears to be below-average.

The promotion announced that Blue Wolf is cancelled from Block B due to a muscle strain/pull. Wolf has been replaced by Tatsutoshi Goto. Goto promised that he would send Kazuyuki Fujita to the hospital after beating him up in the G-1 tournament. Of course, it was Goto a couple of years ago who nearly was paralyzed in a wrestling match during a New Japan house show circuit. Goto is being billed as the tough 23-year veteran.

Atsushi Onita held an interview with the press in Tokyo on Tuesday and stated that a new pro-wrestling event for "Pro-wrestling Privatization" would be produced for television. The project is supposedly being negotiated with two or more TV networks and the hope is that the first show would be aired in January 2006. The first show would be in a documentary format and would air profile/background pieces on wrestlers. Recruitment of wrestlers would include athletes from rugby and judo. Onita says that he has reached out to Japanese idol Hideaki Takizawa for production support. Takizawa was a long-time FMW fan.

New Japan did last-minute advertising by sending Manabu Nakanishi on the JR Sobu train line. Nakanishi surprised tired businessmen on the local trains and asked people to come see his upcoming matches in the G-1 tournament. His direct words were "See my hot fights and refresh yourself." The reason the Sobu train line was chosen is that the line has a station at Ryogoku, which is the area where the two final shows take place (8/13 & 8/14 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo).
