This is why I hate applying for jobs.

I get on-line and have to fill out some hippie application. Why in the hell does anyone want to know where I've lived for the past 10 years is beyond me, but I digress. I play this stupid game and spend nearly two hours filling out all this retarded shit. So what happens after I've completed all the forms/questions/etc.? The goddamn form doesn't submit! I should stop here and not mention that I printed out all this information before submitting so I don't have to re-hash all the places I've lived/worked since 1997, but that's not the point. Well, yes it is, considering I'll probably have to re-type all this shit in again.

OK, now this is a bit creepy.

In a match seemingly made in tabloid heaven, the father of murdered child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey and the mother of missing-in-Aruba teen Natalee Holloway are dating, FOX News has confirmed.

John Ramsey, 63, and Beth Holloway Twitty, 46, have been romantically involved since January 2007, though the two met at a fundraiser last year.

The couple has been spotted openly holding hands and kissing in Mountain Brook, Ala. — where Twitty lives — and at an art show at a nearby art museum. They've also been seen at various restaurants.

Ramsey on Monday denied the reports that they are dating. He said that he and Twitty have a special friendship based on tragedy.

Ramsey's wife and JonBenet's mother, Patsy Ramsey, died last June of ovarian cancer at the age of 49. Twitty was officially divorced from George "Jug" Twitty in December.

"Jug"?

• If you’ve watched ESPN anytime in the last few days, chances are you’ve seen

I admit, the “grenade” toss made me laugh.

• I don’t know why anyone would rip on Gary Sheffield. I agree with him wholeheartedly.

I called it years ago. What I called is that you're going to see more black faces, but there ain't no English going to be coming out. ... (It's about) being able to tell (Latin players) what to do -- being able to control them. Where I'm from, you can't control us. You might get a guy to do it that way for a while because he wants to benefit, but in the end, he is going to go back to being who he is. And that's a person that you're going to talk to with respect, you're going to talk to like a man. These are the things my race demands. So, if you're equally good as this Latin player, guess who's going to get sent home? I know a lot of players that are home now can outplay a lot of these guys.

If American businesses want to hire illegals because they work hard and don’t bitch, then why should it be any different in baseball? LOL, and Michael Wilbon is defending Gary on PTI just as I’m typing this. Now that’s a shocker.

• Roger Clemens is not pitching tonight due to a sleepy groin, and I heard on the radio today that he will possibly start later this week against the Pirates. Great move, Yankees. Let the Rocket tune up one more time with a minor-league team before facing professional lineups.

Actually, I shouldn’t be too hard on the Pirates. They have the same win total as the Bronx Bombers. Sadly enough, last week a local newspaper ran this story:

Bucs excited about second place

In the National League Central Division, a team can be six games under .500 and still feel pretty good about itself.

The Pirates went into last night's game against San Diego with a 23-29 record. They had lost 11 of their previous 20 games, including a disheartening series sweep in St. Louis.

And yet, there they were in second place, just 5 1/2 games behind front-running Milwaukee.

"It's a lot different feeling than it was last year, when we were out of it early," outfielder Jason Bay said Thursday…

• So Billy Donovan is going back to the University of Florida.

Billy Donovan might not be done with the Florida Gators after all. FoxSports.com, citing two anonymous sources, reported Sunday night that Donovan was having second thoughts about coaching the NBA's Orlando Magic and attempting to return to Gainesville.

I guess it's better than deciding not wanting to coach professional ball after game number 42 of next year's NBA regular season.

Wilbon refusing to critize Sheffield with any gusto was hilarious/pathetic. I'd love to see JA Adande replace him.

You're looking for a new job? Do you still have the job you had a couple years ago, around the time of my wedding?
