• Hmmm, when the better half went to get tickets for Hannah Montana's Shittsburgh show, she wasn't able to order them on-line. Then again, she wasn't in the super-secret club that this article mentions. However, there was a bit of a local brouhaha because it seemed people dumb devoted enough to sign up for that super-secret club weren't able to get tickets either. I blame the Bush Administration.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Thousands of "Hannah Montana" fans who couldn't get concert tickets are suing the teen performer's fan club over memberships they claim were supposed to give them priority for seats.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of a New Jersey woman and anyone else who joined the Miley Cyrus Fan Club based on its promise that joining would make it easier to get concert tickets from the teen star's Web site.

Cyrus, 14, is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" TV show.

Her sold-out "Best of Both Worlds Tour" is the hottest concert ticket of the year, with shows selling out in as little as four minutes and scalpers getting four or five times face value.

The suit names Interactive Media Marketing Inc. and Smiley Miley Inc. as defendants and seeks triple damages for all members of the lawsuit and attorneys' fees.

"They deceptively lured thousands of individual into purchasing memberships into the Miley Cyrus Fan Club," plaintiffs' attorney Rob Peirce said. His Pittsburgh firm and a Memphis firm filed the suit Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Nashville.

The fan club costs $29.95 a year to join, according to the lawsuit, which alleges that the defendants should have known that the site's membership vastly exceeded the number of available tickets.

Neither of the listed agents for the two companies based in Nashville could be immediately reached for comment on Tuesday. Neither a phone message nor an e-mail sent to Smiley Miley Inc. was immediately returned.

The document was filed on behalf of Kerry Inman, a New Jersey woman who claims that she tried to log into the site to buy tickets to Cyrus' Atlantic City, N.J., performance at the moment the tickets went on sale and was unsuccessful.

Pierce said the same scenario "has been replayed thousands, if not tens of thousands of times over the past few months."

The Web site does not guarantee ticket availability, but represents that members who log on shortly after tickets become available will have a good opportunity to get them, according to the lawsuit.

And for the record, Mrs. kkk was trying to get the tickets for her one niece.

• Well I hope he at least got one big time-out.

A 10-year-old boy who admitted to starting a 38,000-acre fire last month that destroyed 21 homes in northern Los Angeles County will not be charged, prosecutors said Tuesday.

There was no evidence of intent by the boy who accidentally ignited brush outside his home by playing with matches, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said in a statement.

Authorities are referring the case to the Department of Children and Family Services to determine if further steps are necessary. No other information about the investigation was released because the case involves a minor.

Law experts had said prosecutors would have trouble getting a conviction against the boy because it would be difficult to prove he intended to cause harm.

Speaking of "kids," remember that invader who ran off to Mexico with his teacher? Peep this.

A 13-year-old illegal immigrant who fled to his native Mexico amid a sex scandal with his schoolteacher could be eligible to return to the United States under a new visa the U.S. government started granting the week before he disappeared.

The visa helps illegal immigrants who are victims of sex crimes. If the boy, who spent most of his life in Nebraska, qualifies, he could stay legally in the United States for four years and eventually apply for permanent residency. It also would extend temporary residency to his parents and his unmarried siblings under 18, if they applied for it.

So wait a second. I thought 13-year-old boys were just getting their mack on with female teachers that they boink. Now they're "victims" of "sex crimes"? Which is it?

While I can see grown men fucking teenage girls...hey, we're horny men, right...I still don't understand how a grown woman enjoys sex with a boy that young. I know this particular woman is portly and ugly but STILL. Surely there was at least a 17 or 18 year old around she could be riding. I don't understand what makes a woman decide to fuck a 13 year old boy.

Plus he's Mexican kid...from what I've heard, Mexican males don't come, ummm, "well equipped"

Oh yeah, fuck that bitch Hannah Montana....I stood in line to get tickets for my wife, Mady and her little friends and got zilch. Fucking cunt. Have a second concert or something. Fuck ticketmaster as well, learn how to regulate selling tickets. How fucking hard is it to crack down on scalpers? Heree's an idea: LIMIT THE NUMBER OF TICKETS SOLD PER PERSON!

Or maybe do what teams like the Chargers have done in the past--in addition to ticket limits per person, require that all Internet ticket sales be dished out to "local" zip code billing addresses.
