the more i think about this, the whole thing of Benoit going home for a family emergency and now this, i hate to sound morbid i think someone broke into their house causing Benoit to rush home to find his wife and son dead then this killer shot him down in cold blood
-
man this really sucks some major balls, but it may not have been murder, its possible it may have been Carbon Monoxide, but damn man this sucks
-
yea that is a bit strange they jumped from September to October that sucks

Worse yet was Dave reporting that Big Vis would be repackaged and turned into a unbeatable monster in order to headline PPVs in early 08 i might be in the minority but i think Vis is much better now then he was in the 1990s, but we know hes gettin fed to Cena
-
i think some of this is a load of BS, Matt Hardy has had big wins over guys like Kennedy, Booker, Regal and Finlay to name a few, and i dont buy the London/Kendrick notion either otherwise they would have lost last week vs WGTT

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p11csWHfQNY it's about 41 seconds into the video. It's like a combination of a Regalplex and Blue Thunder Bomb. thanks alot, thats a pretty wicked move

Night One Tourney Matches: Player Uno vs Niles Young Ice Cream Jr vs Hex Gage Rex Sterling vs Amigo Suzuki El Hijo del Ice Cream vs Lince Dorado Cabana Man Dan vs Chuck Taylor Create A Wrestler vs Hydra Night One Non Tourney Match Ups: Night 2 Tourney Matches: Ricochet vs Chrisjen Hayme Tim Donst vs Shayne Hawke Darin Corbin vs Super Xtremo Billy Roc vs Aaron Draven Soldier Ant vs Rhett Titus Ultra Dragon vs Ryan Cruz Night 2 Non Tourney action: Night 3 Action: ok the best way i can describe CHIKARA its an American Version of Lucha Libre mixed with alot of different styles of wrestling, there's only 2 titles this being one of them and their Tag Titles known as Campeonatos de Parejas, basically in order to be in contention for them you have to win 3 tag matches in a row to be elegible for a title shot, and the Young Lions Cup is basically a title for guys new to the business (i think 5 years or less)

what is an Omega Driver exactly? i cant wait to order the DVDs at some point and the other 2007 shows
-
i'll check the show out tommorow on Daily Motion, glad to hear that the CW title match got time, maybe WWE will slowly get behind it and make a Jr Heavyweight division matter since it seems TNA treats the X-Division like a low card comedy act, Nitro winning the title is out of left field no question i am not gonna trash him winning the title until i see what WWE does with Nitro and the belt
-
that would be an awesome Fight Night show, and for the hell of it throw on Hughes/GSP 3 to really draw ratings

This match was said to be insanely fun. 5. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Ice Cream, Jr. (LAW) def. Hex Gage (OSW) by pinfall with the Jack & Jill Hammer after falling to the wrath of the sprinkles to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi-Final Match. The match was said to be "meh". 6. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Amigo Suzuki (UDG/Toryumon) def. Rex Sterling (NWA) by pinfall with a Tiger Suplex to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi-Final Match. Said to be a good technical match, with Amigo working the knee of Sterling a lot. Intermission time. 7. Rhett Titus def. Worker Ant by pinfall with an Oklahoma roll. 8. Billy Roc def. Chrisjen Hayme by pinfall with the standing Shiranui/Asai DDT. 9. Mitch Ryder def. Shane Storm by pinfall with a piledriver. Storm was bleeding from the nose for the majority of the match. 10. Young Lions Cup, 6-Way Elimination Semi-Final Match: Chuck Taylor (CHIKARA) def. Lince Dorado (CHIKARA), Moscow the Communist Bovine (CHIKARA), Player Uno (IWS), Ice Cream, Jr. (LAW) and Amigo Suzuki (UDG/Toryumon) to advance to the final on night 3. a) Moscow the Communist Bovine was eliminated first. b) Player Uno was eliminated second by Amigo Suzuki following a beautiful Tiger Suplex. c) Amigo Suzuki was eliminated third by Lince Dorado following a Yoshi Tonic/sunset flip combo. d) Ice Cream, Jr. was eliminated fourth by Chuck Taylor when Taylor faked a low blow and Ice Cream was disqualified. e) Lince Dorado was eliminated last when Chuck Taylor rolled through on a sunset flip. Attendance is said to be about 100, building is pretty full. Show started pretty much on time, give or take 5 minutes. I'm assuming Moscow was announced during the opening ceremony. Niles Young threatened to headbutt Canadian sympathising fan Big Joe. CHIKARA Young Lions Cup 5, Night 2 Results Ryan Township Fire Hall, Barnesville, PA - June 23rd 2007 1. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Billy Roc (IPW) def. "Omega" Aaron Draven (IWA-EC) by pinfall with the standing Shiranui/Asai DDT to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi Final Match. 2. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Shayne Hawke (IWS) def. Tim Donst (CHIKARA) by pinfall with the Tomahawk (flatliner) to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi Final Match. I was told "to say Tim Donst is sloppy is an understatement". 3. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Rhett Titus (ROH) def. Soldier Ant (CHIKARA) by pinfall to advance to the 6-Way Semi Final Elimination Match when he put his feet on the ropes for leverage. 4. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Darin Corbin (F1rst Wrestling) def. Super Xtremo (BSE) by pinfall to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi-Final Match when he countered a splash into an Ace Crusher. 5. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Ultra Dragon (RLL) def. Ryan Cruz (F1rst Wrestling) by pinfall to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi Final Match with a move similar to a reverse Yoshi Tonic. 6. Young Lions Cup, Opening Round Match: Ricochet (CHIKARA) def. Chrisjen Hayme (FTW) by pinfall to advance to the 6-Way Elimination Semi Final Match when he used a top rope moonsault followed by a standing shooting star press. At one point, Hayme reversed a tilt-a-whirl into a piledriver. Ricochet then reversed an Air Raid Crash into his backslide driver. Intermission time. 7. Mitch Ryder def. Cabana Man Dan by pinfall with a piledriver. Sounded good enough. 8. Chuck Taylor def. Arik Cannon by pinfall when he reversed a would-be top rope Northern Lights Suplex into a sort-of pull-down piledriver. At one point Chuck did a running senton from the outside to the inside. Chuck made a child cry. At one point I was told "this match is amazing", so it sounded great. 9. Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream & Ice Cream, Jr.) & Amigo Suzuki def. Team F.I.S.T. (Gran Akuma & Icarus) & Max Boyer by pinfall when both Ice Creams pinned Icarus with a two-man backslide (from sweet, creamy heaven!). 10. Young Lions Cup Semi Final, 6-Way Elimination Match: Ricochet (CHIKARA) def. Billy Roc (IPW), Shayne Hawke (IWS), Ultra Dragon (RLL), Darin Corbin (F1rst Wrestling) and Rhett Titus (ROH) to advance to the final tomorrow. a) Ultra Dragon was eliminated by Ricochet. b) Darin Corbin was eliminated by Rhett Titus following a running powerslam. c) Rhett Titus was eliminated by Ricochet following a huracanrana. d) Shayne Hawke was eliminated by Billy Roc following the standing Shiranui/Asai DDT. e) Billy Roc was eliminated by Ricochet following, and I quote, "a reverse rana into a springboard tornado DDT into a standing Shooting Star Press pinfall combo". Barnesville crowd is said to be 60-70. The building is very hot, and the crowd atmosphere apparently sucks. Young Lions Cup 5, Night 3 Results Credit to CHIKARAFANS~! Show starts at 4. CHIKARA Young Lions Cup 5, Night 3 Results American Legion Hall, Hellertown, PA - June 24th 2007 The Kings of Wrestling did a promo to open the show. When they were done, Team F.I.S.T. came out and issued an open challenge. Los Ice Creams accepted. 1. Los Ice Creams (El Hijo del Ice Cream & Ice Cream, Jr.) def. Team F.I.S.T. by pinfall when both men pinned Akuma after a Doomsday Assissino. Great opener. 2. The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple (UltraMantis Black, Hydra & Crossbones) def. Super Xtremo, Player Uno & Moscow the Communist Bovine by pinfall when Mantis used the Praying Mantis Bomb on Xtremo. Mantis had refused to harm the cow, obviously due to his vegan donut love and non-carniverous ways. Hydra also used grass to distract Moscow. 3. Billy Roc def. Amigo Suzuki by pinfall with a most well mannered frog splash. 4. The Olsen Twins (Jimmy Olsen & Colin Olsen) def. The North Star Express (Ryan Cruz & Darin Corbin) by pinfall when Colin used the ropes for leverage to pin Corbin. The North Stars came out in vintage Minnesota North Stars jerseys. Said to be wildly entertaining. "I might throw up from laughing so hard". 5. Lince Dorado def. Mitch Ryder. As a result of this, Mitch kicked the Mexican out of him. Intermission time! 6. "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush def. "Superstar" Shayne Hawke by pinfall with the QD2. 7. BLK-OUT (Sabian & Ruckus) def. The Colony (Fire Ant & Soldier Ant) by pinfall when Sabian hit the Black Jesus Stomp. Ruckus dropped the F-bomb, so he is due for a fine. Ruckus and Sabian continued their assault after the match. 8. The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) def. Cheech & Cloudy by pinfall when Claudio gave Cloudy the Ricola Bomb. Called good, but not great. 9. Golden Dream Trios Match: Hallowicked, Jigsaw & Shane Storm def. Larry Sweeney, Max Boyer & Arik Cannon by submission when Hallowicked made Arik Cannon submit to the CHIKARA Special. A hole in the ring apparently came about in this match, but the last 5-7 minutes were said to be excellent anyway. The ring is being fixed. Apparently there was a huge depression in the middle of the ring, indicating possibly a slipped or even broken board. They've got the ring on cinder blocks and Gran Akuma is investigating! Ring is now fixed. Game on. 10. Young Lions Cup Final: Chuck Taylor def. Ricochet by pinfall with the Omega Driver to win the Young Lions Cup, becoming the seventh man to hold the trophy. Chuck made another kid cry. man Chuck Taylor must be a real good heel to make kids cry, i am so ordering these shows when the time comes

Nate replied to Hawk 34's topic in General Wrestling
i dont know i would think they would want to put on the tag title match on the show, and i think people would get burned out on Morishima very quickly, i think the show will go like this: NRC vs Resilience/Delirious Sydal/Claudio Albright/Pelle Morishima/Pearce Steen/Generico vs Briscoes Nigel/Danielson -

Attendance was approximately around 1000 people!! sounds like a good show although they are really pushin it taping 6 matches for a 2 hour PPV 7 if you count the Nigel/Danielson they recorded a couple weeks ago, i could see them cutting out the squash matches, interestng twist in making Sydal a heel, and i wonder what will happen with the Aries situation especially if he's still under contract to TNA -
Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
Nate replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
hmm that never occured to me, but it seems to be taken somewhat as a comedy type angle, i have heard they may just end it altogether Monday on Raw -
great show from UFC shame about Manny though, i think he'll wind up with a contract along with Joe Lauzon and maybe Cole, Rob and Gray, i really think UFC should change their show format to have 6 PPVs a year and 6 to 7 Spike shows, but i guess they have to make money somehow

what in the heck...

My Picks WWE Title: John Cena © vs. Mick Foley vs. Randy Orton vs. King Booker vs. Bobby Lashley Do Or Die for the World Heavyweight Title: Edge © vs. Batista ECW World Title Match: Chris Benoit vs. CM Punk Intercontinental Title Match: Santino Marella © vs. Umaga US Title Match: MVP © vs. Ric Flair World Tag Team Championship: Cade and Murdoch © vs. The Hardy Boyz Cruiserweight Championship Match: Chavo Guerrero © vs. Jimmy Wang Yang Womens Title: Melina © vs. Candice Michelle i dont see Edge losing the title quite yet, as much as i would love to see Punk win its not gonna happen quite yet
-
i think my head just exploded reading that news, so if i got this right ZUFFA has bought PRIDE but have not finalized the deal to get all the financials, contracts and whatnot and then the guys of DSE are wanting to start up PRIDE 2 basically
-
thats a very good question, if hes doing this to spite TNA they could come back and sue him for breach of contract if he had gotten physically involved, and it would probably come back to bite ROH on the ass in the long run

Nate replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
i dont really see that happening because of HBK's religious beliefs, the question is when they do find the "suspect" will that person be seen to the fans as a face or heel -
