I actually cannot wait for Hughes to fuck with Serra this week.

Silva's got decent sweeps and hip movement, but generally has to pick between those or going for the body triangle and waiting for stand-up, neither of which will work to well on Franklin, IMO.

Marquardt got a pretty sweet deal for a relative UFC gnub, so it doesn't makes sense to spend 30K+ a match on a guy who refuses to fight to his potential.

I doubt PRIDE is too keen on keeping Yves around if he doesn't prove he's above dancing around with Ikemoto all night. Also, while I can understand it was probably easier to get Clayton to appear, I would've much rather the UFC stick Kitaoka into a sauna and make him fight at LW.

He sat down on his punches against Leben, but he's also shown a reluctance to commit to them in the past and I doubt he's above pitty-patting again if he's tentative.

Physically gifted fighters often do (and get away with) things that most other fighters wouldn't dream of. Imagine Chuck Liddell telling a young up and coming fighter, "Now, once you get taken down, immediately give up your back, make no attempts to defend your neck and simply stand up." Regardless, it was some strange advice from Rich, though I assume he imagined Serra pulling guard as Spratt coming into punching range.

I have no clue what's up with Pe de Pano right now. Last I heard, he was to fight Yvel in Britain until he pulled out at the last minute and got replaced by Scherner.

BTW- is LotC's av slowing up anyone else's scrolling capability?
