  5. By now, I was about read to give up, but not quite yet. self-pwnt
  6. At this point, I was barely starting to worry as to why my astute observation wasn't going through...
  7. Strasser/Ikemoto here.
  8. This one too...
  9. I think this one happened while uploading Kikuchi/Lax...
  10. I'm almost embarassed that many people watched Fletcher/Haynes.
  11. To any admins: If I start ripping some SHOOTO fights from my collection, any chance I could get a sticky thread for them?
  12. Considering both were past their prime (and Kostya was not far removed from an 18 month layoff), I'd say that Hamed laying Kelley out was more impressive than Hatton grinding Tszyu down.
  13. Yozen = Saku-style shorts And actually, he won.
  14. The 10 count is used in all SHOOTO matches (and the 10-8 scoring that goes with them). Definitely not a good thing, but luckily doesn't influences too many matches. As for the different classes: Class C: Amateurs; 2 round bouts; head gear & shin guards; Class B: Rookies & relatively unexperienced fighters; 2 rounds; Class A: Veterans, contenders and champions; 3 rounds
  15. IIRC, Cummo's facing Goulet soon.
  16. Ping-Ting Long-Wang vs. Rolf Uber

  18. Hamed def. Kelley via TKO, Rd.4 Hamed fought a shitload of world champions and tough guys in their prime. Hatton has fought mainly regional level talent and aged journeymen. Hamed had been fighting on the world stage for about 6 years when he lossed a clear but competitive decision with MAB, beating (and KO'ing) plenty of champs in that time. Hatton's brief run against world class competition has included a good win against an aged champion, a KO over Maussa, and razor thin JD to Collazo. Utter bullshit. Collazo is a decent fighter whose biggest accomplishement to date is beating Jose Luiz Rivera for a paper title.
  19. Except that Hamed's resume completely blows Hatton's away. As in, not even close. And I hate Hamed.
  20. Mamoru Yamaguchi vs. Shinichi "BJ" Kojima
  21. Very explosive & powerful striker, he could use a bit more polish on his technique, though his K-1 MAX success would suggest that it might not need much. His knees are obviously his best weapons (Blue would chime in that "Wanderlei wishes he could knee like Mork), though he has good power in his hands, too. As for weaknesses... well, his ground game is obviously not up to snuff. He's still pretty much dead meat on his back, and while he powerful striking and sheer athleticism can get him out of binds against diminutive featherweights while on top, the ground as a whole is still a bad place for him. Unfortunately, I believe his success in MAX will lead him to possibly abandon ground training altogether for a time.
  22. I think Tito left himself with this match-up because while he wanted to protect Hamill and give him time to train, he also wanted to win the previous match-ups if possible. Hence, Haynes gets Tait since they both suck, leaving Kristian & Nichels to get taken out by Bisping. Rotharmel, though out of shape, is much more experienced than Nichels, and so Tito may not have liked hamill's chances against him compared to Nichels.
  23. By all accounts, Danny is a legit striker with good athleticism,so it's just bad luck for him that he's facing one of the 3 MW's who's highly likely to give him problems.
  24. That was before the show started. Now, having seen his competition in action, I'm fairly confident he'll wreck Jesse.
  25. The chances of Danny landing a KO strike are much higher than Forbes being able to hold Bisping down for 10 minutes.
