Let's see, I've seen star, starv, Kev and Kevin for the most part. Doesn't matter much to me what you use, really, but those are the main ones I've seen since I started using this screenname way back when...

So it looks like they're going with the no-repeat gimmick for AD and 24? Wednesday has AI results show vs Lost. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see AI bumped to 8pm... -
Ruben made it mostly on talent, although like Bo he had a unique gimmick going for him ("Velvet Teddy Bear" for Ruben, Soul Rock (is that a subgenre?) singer for Bo). Bo should win this thing, although I'm sure stranger things have happened. And I'm still waiting for the Scott Savol run-in...

You know what was really great? This wasn't a cliffhanger ending, yet I'm pissed off that I have to wait a week to see what happens next... I agree with you about Sawyer telling Jack what he needed to hear. It's just that I liked him better as the antihero asshole. Then again, I liked Sayid as the helpful badass, and they pussified him. Hopefully the Vincent angle allows Sayid to return to badass form. More thoughts... - Nice to see Boone back, even if it was just flashbacks - Good setup for Michelle Rodriguez, seeing as they're shoehorning her in next season (not that I'm complaining) - And I agree with Rudo, it's good to see that she isn't always playing a badass Hispanic chica - I'm surprised Arzt is still alive. The writers did everything but put a red shirt on the guy - Nice corporate synergy by showing Power Rangers SPD on TV there. - I want to have a Vincent-centric ep. Would it be any good? Not from a dramatic standpoint, but I think it would be some high comedy.

Who cares? I'd rather see Rictor in the movie than Gambit... -

I'm gonna have to watch reruns of that show... -
Still not a big fan of James Ford's face turn. He shoulda just said some asshole thing to Jack just because.

CRIMETIME SATURDAY is probably a hell of a lot cheaper to make. Of course it is - it's a rotating wheel of CSI:X, Without A Trace and Cold Case repeats. NBC does the same thing with the three Law and Order shows on Saturdays... -
It was a PC MPP from somewhere in Ontario. Don't know which riding, but I gather he doesn't like her. Not as good as the previous quote, although probably more accurate, given that she was immediately given a Cabinet position. Does that seem a bit dodgy to anyone else? Anyways, this should be a very interesting budget vote.

I listed The OC because I figure that their core audience probably watches Smallville as well... This is true, although I think Numb3rs is different enough to separate it from the other procedural dramas CBS has. I'll be rooting for "How I Met Your Mother" to succeed, if only because of the leads (Neil Patrick Harris and Alysson Hannigan)... -
I think Paula has always chosen fluff songs for Judge's Choice. Anyways, I agree with you that in the minds of this board, Bo should be winning. Whether he does or not is in the hands of the teenage dialing demons.

Wow. Like LPM said, insanity. I'm interested to see if there's any fallout from this...

Let's see, we've already got Survivor, Alias, Joey and The OC all on at the same time. I realize that Smallville has a pretty solid fan following, but I don't think that it'll stay very long in the Thurs 8pm slot. They'll probably move it once one of the other WB dramas fail. -

I was afraid of that. Hopefully it won't be 22 half-hour teen romantic comedies... -
Kylie Minogue has breast cancer

He might have started lining up for Ep III or something. Very true. Great ass on her. Anywho, cancer sucks, and I hope she recovers. -

I guess this is fallout from Joey/Will and Grace doing poorly. ABC smells blood, knows The OC probably won't increase their audience and figures that it's as good a time as any to try and gain a foothold there. -
The funny thing about this whole situation is that I did gain some respect for Katie after all of this went down. Could she have handled herself better in the final TC? Sure, but I like the fact that some people (like Caryn and Janu) were looking for some ego-soothing answers, and Katie didn't give it to them. And her answer to Caryn was absolutely true - Caryn, Janu and Katie were all UTR types, and Katie was the only one who attached herself to a strong alliance. Also, she worked Ian to the point where he gave up a chance at the million (although I think he got $75,000 anyways for third) so that she would have it. I dunno, that's not too bad for a floater. Best player ever? Hardly, but not really that horrible either.

I think Anderson ejected before the crash - he kept asking for safety guarantees from Marwan. Behrooz, I suppose, will factor into the last couple of eps, but it'll probably be something that'll make us dislike him even more. So Tony's probably taking a bullet for him.

Hell no. I'm like Kahran - I'd prefer to do The Amazing Race.

They are. Stewart will have her own daytime syndicated show (distributed under the NBC Universal umbrella) as well as her Apprentice spinoff on NBC network. Because Burnett wants some decent ratings, and attaching "The Apprentice" name will attract $$$ from the advertisers. -
Not entirely. The 905 region of the GTA is probably not going to vote NDP, and for the most part, people are the middle class you talk about, plus I think there's a greater concentration of "red" Tories in the ridings, so people switching their votes to Conservative is the likely result there. If they switch, that is. The 416 area (that is, Toronto proper) however, is Layton and Chow's stomping grounds, so I could see them trying to expand their base from there. An endorsement from the Mayor would probably go quite a ways there.
