  1. All that over a SMACKDOWN women's match?
  2. I dunno. I like his shtick.
  3. Were they actually chanting "JBL" a second ago?
  4. When she and Chyna first got together, they insinuated that Miss Kitty had some kinda attachment to the I-C Belt (like, she'll follow around whomever has the title). Other than that, I think they were trying to play up the Chyna/Xena similarities by giving her a female sidekick (I never watched Xena, though, so I don't exactly how similar Chyna/Kat were to Xena/Gabrielle).
  5. They'd still have at least an attempted murder charge on their hands. Have they even tried to explain why the Dudleys and Heyman weren't arrested for the kidnapping and ransom?
  6. vs. Shawn Michaels - Raw 5/96. Honestly, that was the first match that popped into my head when I clicked this thread. I remember loving it when I was younger. It's been a while since I've actually sat down and watched it though. I'm one of the few people that actually liked HHH/RVD from Unforgiven 02.
  7. KC, I loved the match. I was into the action all the way through, and once again, you handled Panther's involvement perfectly. I thought you did a great job. As for Dama, I enjoyed the Gauntlet Match as well. I'm not sure what to make of the ending, though. Not that it was bad or anything, but it seemed like maybe Smith let Dama off the hook kinda easily considering all the bad blood between them. Plus, I was kinda hoping that Dama would attack him or something in the end (that's just the heel in me, I guess). Still, I liked the match a lot. Haven't read the whole show yet, but I've liked everything I've read so far. WarGheymes was pretty funny as was the stuff with the Saints. I liked Drek/Cappa too. If I'm not too lazy, I'll give a little more feedback once I've read everything.
  8. Shane Douglas shaking Pitbull Gary Wolfe by his surgical halo. Earthquake attacking and injuring Andre the Giant. Vader attacking Gorilla Monsoon. The nWo Disney MGM attack (with Nash darting Rey into the trailer). Jeff Jarrett's rampage against women back in 99.
  9. If that's true, Chavo is officially my favorite non-Chyna wrestling personality. He should've gone all the way and told them he'd been kidnapped. Send a ransom note up to Titan and everything. That'd have been funny.
  10. "Gettin' It In"-Jadakiss ft. Kanye West
  11. I dunno. I can understand where his ideas are coming from, but they're nothing revolutionary, seem to be just another example of his overreliance on "shoot" booking that everyone criticized him for during his WCW run.
  12. Isn't that more or less what the McMahon-Helsmley Era was in 2000?
  13. Forgot to mention that there'll be a Bryte promo.
  14. WWF @ Danville - June 26, 1995 Monday Night Raw taping: 6/26/95: Savio Vega defeated WWF IC Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/ the Roadie) via disqualification when the Roadie interfered; Shawn Michaels, who was doing guest commentary, made the save after the match and dominated an altercation with Jarrett To expand on that a bit, the Savio/Jarrett match was the ME of the night, and after Shawn made the save, the show went off the air. After the broadcast, Jarrett came back out and demanded a title match with Shawn (who, I think, was still at ringside dancing on the announce table). Shawn came in, they brawled, and Shawn ended up laying Jeff out with SCM. He then grabs the belt, holds it into the air and that was about it. I don't think they interacted again between then and the PPV, and the rest of the build was handled in control center promos.
  15. Evil Jake??? did he ever have a cobra? I don't remember him having a cobra? Yeah, he had a king cobra that bit Randy Savage back in 91.
  16. Back in 98, WWF ran an angle where someone kept sending flowers, candy, etc. to Sable, making Marc Mero jealous. I wanna say that Tom Brandi (Salvatore Sincere) was behind it, but I'm not sure. Anybody know? Or did they just drop the angle?
  17. So Eric's sister will be angry if Eric fires Eugene, but she's completely fine with him trying to humiliate him on TV and trying to get him beaten up? *shrugs*

  24. On Orlando, no he wouldn't (and shouldn't) be a credible challenger for the US title, but if he's shown enough improvement, I don't see why he couldn't be brought up to work a few Smackdown shows to get exposure. And that's what I think they should've done with Orton. Let him grow in Heat...maybe let him work OVW or other indy shows (yeah right) to get his skills together...the office would work with him on his promos (because you knew from day 1 they were intent on giving him a big push), and then once he starts showing a significant improvement, bring him up to Raw and work from there. It wouldn't hurt him, and they'd probably have gotten even more out of him than they have with his current push, because he'd have been better prepared. And on his push, I really don't think they played to his strengths all that well either, because even with the improvement he's made, his weaknesses on the mic and in the ring still shine through to a degree. If anything, I think they made it a little harder on him by driving home how special he was and how much of a blue chipper he was before he really got a chance to do anything. That's probably why part of the reason it took so long for people to really take to his character.
  25. The 95/96 shows are a little iffy, but the 97/98 stuff was great. Better entertainment than for actual wrestling though. Another Raw I liked from 95 was the show where Bulldog turned on Diesel...just prior to SummerSlam.
