Just wanna let y'all know now that Panther/Rodez may be slightly late.

95 for me. The majority of the matches were good from what I remember, but the Wild Card match and Bret/Diesel are a couple of standout moments from my days as a mark. After that, probably 02. I didn't really like it at the time due to some of the booking decisions and all, but it really was a solid show, and is really the only good Survivor Series I can remember since 95 (I've never seen 96).

I'm not sure about the partying, but I remember hearing a story from someone (I wanna say Luna) about how he had a blow up with management and talked himself out of a title reign. Now here's a question: I was watching the Benoit/Malenko vs Saturn/Raven tag match from Spring Stampede 99 and decided to look up some WCW stuff that was going on around that time (since I stopped watching it in mid 98), and I was confused as hell. There may be a logical explanation to this, but how did Saturn and Benoit go from feuding to being partners over the span of like two PPVs?

I remember one episode of Raw where Lawler got one for Helen Hart with Taker singing it. It was funny as hell. As for the hotline, I called it a few times back in the day just to hear PPV results and post-match interviews.

IIRC, the last time he wore the long tights was a Raw in May 99...I can't remember the date, but it was maybe a week after the Smackdown pilot and it ended with he and Taker throwing Austin and Rock off the Raw stage. The next week, he was in short tights. He began wearing the short leather ones just prior to KOTR.

I've never been out there, but I know that's where my brother had to go when he was training to be a Sheriff a few years back. Besides that, I know nothing.

Yeah, I think most people sided with the Harts in the DX feud due. Stuff like the vandalism of the Nation's locker room and things of that nature just made him come off as more of a heel, although the Harts never did turn in the States. And personally, I loved the fact that they both went into the match as heels. Made it seem more realistic without them telling you who to root for.

I wouldn't say that. The JBL character has been entertaining enough (promos are solid and the visual of him in the surgical halo with the hat on top made me laugh) and of his matches I've seen since Mania (all 4 of them), I've liked the majority of them. The problem isn't so much that Bradshaw's terrible, but it's that they pushed him to soon. They take a new character with no build and almost no character development and thrust him right into the title mix. That's a terrible thing to do with an unproven character because not only do you risk fan backlash by shoving the guy down their throats, but you're putting yourself in the situation where you really can't put him over without hurting your ME scene as a whole, and that's exactly what happened. Bradshaw became a main eventer as a result of the Eddie feud, but it was more a case of dragging the belt down to his level than it was dragging him up to the ME level. Had they waited even til Summerslam before putting him in a feud with Eddie, I probably wouldn't have had a problem with him, but the fact that they pushed him so soon did make a difference.

I'd say that Bradshaw is definitely the most undeserving champ ever, but I agree he's not the worst.

At Armageddon 99 vs Bossman, Show did a kip up.

97, primarily due to the Hart Foundation storyline. 98 is right behind that. 96 was a pretty fun year between the Monday Night Wars and ECW.
