It would be terribly appropriate. Or just terrible. Can you re-word that in a way that makes sense, EHME? Who is the "him" that I am obsessed with? And who's the "she" that needs to stop hating? I'm presuming the latter is Leena, but the "him" that I'm obsessed with ... man, that one has me stumped. OR, am I the "she" and you think that I'm a girl?? Basically, re-word plz so it makes at least a little sense.

EHME. Ban him, too, just to be safe.
-
Even if he wasn't a complete tool, those fake accounts were lame enough to justify a banning. They made the Eddie Winslow account seem high-brow & humorous.

I would have brought the champion instead of Jarrett, but not instead of the diva. As much as wrestling fans hate it, divas draw more mainstream attention than actual wrestlers. Joe Q Public is more likely to stop and watch the show if he sees a big rack being partially exposed than if he sees 4 guys sitting on a panel.

What duplicate accounts was UTSU the 'mastermind' behind? Or, grammaticaly, is it: What duplicate accounts were UTSU the 'mastermind' behind?

Does onyone else think The Czech Republic needs a life?

I've heard that Carnival has very pretty hair. The flavor saver on his chin has to go, though. And WP has got to be a gimmick. I refuse to believe that he's real. -
Ahh, the good ol' RoadRunners ... they've got a couple of good goons, Porter, you're likely to see a fight or 3. You can normally count on at least one good fight at an ECHL game. And I think the camraderie is proportionate to where you're sitting. My season tix were in the cheap seats, so it was all working-class types, old-school hockey fans that paid attention & knew the players and were there to see the game. The times that I've sat in the 'good' seats, it hasn't been as friendly that way. The same holds true at Fenway, though, you end up meeting nicer people in the cheaper sections.
-
Porter, are you in SoCal? (I'm only presuming because you refer to your fellow SD fans). Are you seeing a minor league game? And I had Boston Bruins season tickets a few years ago, and the same "bond" that you referred to existed with them. You end up getting to know everyone in your section, and the beer guys and things like that. I've kept in touch with a few of them, and it's like seeing an old friend when you see them at a game now or at a bar just randomly in Boston. Good times.

WP, your first post was the second in this thread ... thus, there was no reason or need to 'quote' that post. Even the most ignorant of TSM'ers could figure out what post you were responding to. Carnival <3's Gimmicks. -
There was that special on HBO (I think it was HBO, might have been ESPN) about sports fanaticism, and they showed clips of an Eagles fan that had been beaten by some Redskins fans ... the white Eagles jersey was so bloody that it looked like a maroon 'skins jersey. The whole NorthEast is pretty fucked up when it comes to sports violence.

I saw a big ass brawl at a Bruins/Flyers game that started because two Flyers fans (one of whom was a female) started mouthing off & talking shit to a TON of B's fans. The girl ended up spitting on some guy, who then threw his beer in the girl's face ... next thing you know a bunch of Flyers fans come up and it's just a huge donnybrook. Flyers fans scare me.

Oh, Vince Sr is in already? Disregard 2/3 of my post then.
-
I'm surprised Vince hasn't inducted Vince McMahon, Sr, into the HoF yet. Especially since VKM would likely accept on his father's behalf & get to do the introduction. And out of Bruno, Warrior, or Savage, Bruno will go in first ... the first WM after he dies. He'll be inducted posthumously, where his non-attendance would be easily justifiable.

I've been to all of the major sports & most of the secondary sports (no NASCAR yet, and likely never). Hockey is the one that gains the most from seeing it live rather than on TV. Watching the entirety of the game, rather than just following the puck, makes the game just so much more exciting. Football is the one that gets hurt the most from seeing it live rather than on TV. Other than tailgating pre- & post-game, being at a game is kind of crappy. Minimal replays, minimal out-of-town updates, way too many commercial breaks, uncertainty about who's injured & how serious, etc. Arena football is even worse; never again will I subject myself to an arena game, either in person OR on TV. Basketball & baseball, well, I'm biased because I don't really care that much for either sport. Basketball is better in person because there's so much eye candy at Celtics games. Going to a game at Fenway is a nightmare, because of the crooked-hat wearing frat guy idiots. If it wasn't for the fun of drinking at a game, I wouldn't go at all. Golf & tennis were interesting; I never watch either sport on TV, so can't say that I prefer one way (or one sport) to another.

I think hating barron should be a bannable offense.
-
Ok, who's going to step up and pose for & post lame-ass 'mixer' pictures? I nominate Lushus, he always seemed to love those pics. And I applaud the irony of EHME calling anyone a troll. Or nominating someone to be banned.

The thing that sucks for me is that both of these movies look just so good, and I want to see them both so badly, there's really no way that at least one won't be a huge disapointment. I'm presuming it's Silent Hill that I'll like less than I'm anticipating, but .........

Search of his recent posts in the WWE folder Reading his recent posts, it seems that Dam(o)n was a big fan of the one sentence, smart-ass smarky contribution to the threads. Yeah, he didn't deviate from the topic but he didn't add a whole lot to the discussions, either. No big loss.

Having RZA but not GZA or Method Man makes me sad.

Are You Gonna Be There (At The Love In?)
nl5xsk1 commented on Gary Floyd's blog entry in How To Vibrate
Hey, first time reader, first time replyer (or is it replier?) ... Saw the link to your blog on kkk's, and wanted to check it out. As someone that just started blogging, I was kind of surprised to see that yours went back to Hostel & the Super Bowl ... I didn't realize that blogging had been available for that long. In reading your entries, it seems that you dug Slither more than Hills Have Eyes ... why's that? I liked the latter better, but I think that I'm in the minority with that. What made you prefer one to the other? Oh, and I chuckled at the your statement that I'm an "awesome poster". I liked the compliment, but it's soooo not true. But thanks regardless. -
Metal Maniac hinted at what I was thinking. Either someone she knew or cared about died in the collapse, or she herself was on it and was traumatized as a result of her brush with death.
-
My thoughts & theories after last night's episode (and I'm not using spoiler tags because these are just theories): Libby was originally in the hospital due to being related to the deck collapse accident, and was still hospitalalized when Hurley went back & told the guy that he used the numbers to win the lottery. So, she has two reasons to want revenge on Hurley: his role in the collapse AND his money. She followed him to Australia. When they're walking together hand-in-hand, at the very end, she has a disgusted look on her face ... not the look that someone that just kissed the person that they have feelings for would have. "Gale" is not there to cause a schism amongst the survivors. He is there to (a) judge how much they know, (b) be present when the lockdown was going to happen, and © expedite the next run-in between the survivors & the Others. Any mind-games that he can play while there are icing on the cake. It's not a dream. It's not heaven, hell or purgatory. And I had a 4th 'point' but I'm spacing on it right now ... I had it when I began this post, and now it's just gone. I'll edit & add it if I can think of it.

Bret Hart confirms he will not be at WrestleMania
nl5xsk1 replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Reasons to edit the speech: 1. USA probably dictated how long the show could run, and they wanted to ensure that the Mean Gene (for Hogan) and Guerrero inductions were televised. Something had to give, and that something was a 30 minute speech. 2. The opportunity to use "uncut & previously unseen speeches" as part of the DVD hype. 3. Vince is probably not that keen on a lot of Owen talk & wanted to limit the televised references to him as much as possible. 4. From what I've heard, it wasn't that exciting of a speech. Bret being at a WWE event was the real lure, not what he had to say. -
I feel very dirty for saying this, but I agree with Carnival. Leena > Chicken soup > Minestrone If this was a thread that was entitled "Hey soup", I wouldn't have even read it, let alone posted in it.

Considering he's been pushed strongly forever and STILL isn't over, what more can they do? Even if he got the HHH treatment people still wouldn't give a shit about him. It's Randy's fault that only gays and women don't fall asleep when he's out there busting out the chinlock or the same promo he's been cutting for the last few years. When was he last pushed "strongly"? When he was the scared heel in his feud with the Undertaker? When he lost match after match in that feud? You know that "hilarious" oh-no picture that's been thrown around in this thread? He wasn't making that face during that feud because he was really scared of the Undertaker, he was making it because he was booked to be a weak, chickenshit heel afraid of an old man. He hasn't been pushed "strongly" in a long-ass time.
