Also that Lesnar/Angle was in front of 55,000 people...and at Wrestlemania which adds more of a big match feel to it, but I think Banky hit it irght on the head.
-
Then they should of done the mat work at the beginning...like Angle/Benoit at Mania 17...THEN do the slow paced pounding and stuff.
-
I just hope this match shuts everyone up about Angle/Lesnar being the main event at Mania 20. They should do something else because I really don't care about having these two guys go at it again. And I'd have to watch the Mania match again to give you specific examples why it was ****. I think a lot of people tool on that match because of the botch ending, but the match itself had a decent feel to it.

I just hope this match shuts everyone up about doing Brock/Angle at Mania 20.
-
Considering their Mania match was above **** and Angle was all fucked up, I'd say they could of achieved a lot more in future matches. And considering the hype given to it.
-
We should make a list of what SHOULD of happened: -Amateur wrestling sequence -The murder death kill german (Brock could of taken it if Angle couldn't of) -Brock NOT tapping out at all...he should of learned from his Summerslam match and he won't tap out again. -Having Angle work the ribs (which has been a thorn in Brock's side forever) instead of the flippy floppy pyschology. I'm sure there's more.
-
Brock wasn't ready to go the distance...it should of been 30 minutes, unedited. And having no amateur stuff pissed me off, considering it was 60 minutes.
-
Well, just got over in East Coast. Can't say I'm not dissapointed because I am. TV commercials took away from it, Lesnar/Angle did WAY too much stalling (at least Bret/HBK used holds to stall), falls could of been more often, and the ending wasn't as good because Angle had already made Brock tap. I liked a few things...Brock using the chair to wear down Angle, Angle's missle dropkick, the pop-up Angle Slam when Kurt knew Brock was going for the Shooting Star, and the Rumble 2003 Ankle Lock. I'll go ***1/2, but I was expecting ****1/2.
-
Lesnar tapping before the finish was dumb. Angle should of won with an F5 or something.
-
What a finish!
-
RUMBLE 2003 ANKLE LOCK
-
That's such a stupid finish. Brock got the ropes, move should be broken.
-
Damnit. I was hoping they would hit the murder death killer fucking crazy German.
-
It was out of desperation and since he remembered Mania, it was a rush of adrenaline to finish off Lesnar. It's not like Angle nipped up right after...he stayed down after the pin.
-
GREAT FUCKING SPOT!
-
Well, I guess Lesnar's knee counts as a gameplan...sort of.
-
NICE! ANGLE F5 TO LESNAR ON THE RINGPOST~ That's about....8 months worth of psychology right there.
-
Here's one thing about the match...there really hasn't been a game plan. Bret and HBK both had their gameplan, and used it to a "T" it their Mania match. This is more or less just going at it.
-
They probably should of saved this Ironman for No Mercy. But hey, I'm not the billioniare.
-
Good, we'll get about 14 more minutes without distractions. This is certainly the quickest Ironman match I've ever seen.
-
I think that started at this past Wrestlemania. It's a cool addition to the camera setup, and nice to look at after 15 years of the same angles. Which match? I don't remember them doing that at Mania 19. It's not the camera that moves above the ring...it was like a prespective right behind 3-4 row.
-
SWEET camera angle from a few rows back in the crowd. Nice prespective.
-
The return of Angle's missle dropkick! SWEET.
-
I don't like the commercial breaks. And Lesnar/Angle could be doing better things stalling. At least Bret/HBK had each other in holds during stall periods.
-
Well, 30 minutes in...color me kind of in the middle. Match hasn't been great, match hasn't been that bad. Hopefully it picks up.
