Iowa State should be able to beat TCU. Besides the Houston Bowl looks like it has been pretty nice to the Big XII. Man the Big XII might actually win that bowl challenge cup. But Texas would have to beat USC to sink the Pac 10's winning percentage b/c they only have 5 teams in and 3 of them have won. The other bowls I really don't care much for. Tulsa should win if Fresno State still has it shut down after the USC loss. Hopefully they've actually rebounded.

Why are there no bowls that match up the Big XII and ACC? Or Big XII and Big East at that. And why are there no bowls on New Years Day this year?

Well that "piece of shit" conference as someone put it earlier in the year is now 4-1 in bowl games with 3 of those 4 wins coming against teams that they were underdogs against.

Please. As has been said in this thread earlier. Oregon has no excuse. They knew they were playing Oklahoma. Yeah OU was down but on name value alone they should've known what they were up against. If they can't get up for a bowl game, even if it's one they didn't want to be in, then they deserve to lose and nobody should make petty excuses for them. OU was just the better team last night. They were about to out physical Oregon on both lines and make the big plays to win.

Ok so I was trying to think of some good all vegetarian meals that would taste halfway decent but it's not coming to me. Anyone here ever gone the veggie route? I was thinking of doing it for just a week and seeing what happens.

Yeah I don't even care if Texas or USC win now. OU got their bowl win. And despite all the bitching from our fans OU dominated the second half of that game until that last drive. Although if Ingram hadn't gotten that interception then Oregon would've won. Thank god for him. Of course if Oregon had Clemens OU probably would've lost but we can't think like that. It's funny because I thought the game was boring for a while but once OU won it suddenly became a fun and good bowl game.
