  1. Well I'm not really looking to bulk up. Just define and lose weight. Although it's not like I'm fat anywhere else on my body except my gut. And it's not from beer. I'm 21 and I didn't start reguarly drinking until I turned well 21. Drinking copious amounts of Dr. Pepper will do the same thing beer will to your stomach. That's why I don't drink pop anymore. But after I tone up and lose the gut I may want to bulk up. I know one thing. I'm not strong enough. People look at me and think "that dude must be strong" but i'm really really average in that department. In my Judo class(yes i know judo isn't about strength but still) I can get overpowered by people smaller than me because they lift and such.
  2. Yeah or if you had that job you could use the money for steroids and get the body the quick and dirty way....
  3. Well I wonder if Texas can continue their streak of murdering everyone in the Big XII or if Baylor can continue their streak of not looking like total losers this season. The Bears are back or something baby.....(if they were every here in the first place)

  6. I wasn't saying that they should trade him this season.........they should see if they can ransom someone for a ton of draft picks or another decent wide reciever or maybe a pounding running back.
  7. At the end of July I lost 20 pounds in like 2 weeks and it made me feel like shit. So if I wanted a body like the Ultimate Warrior I'd pretty much have to live in the gym and take roids right?
  8. As an Eagles fan I'm fed up with this TO bullshit. They need to trade him and build some young recievers......and maybe a decent run game to. That could help ya know.

  10. I was going to ask about swimming. It builds muscle as well as losing weight correct? So as opposed to running like a prison bitch I should swim like I'm jumping the border?
  11. Does anyone find it helpful to keep a record of what you eat, how much you lift, what you lift, what kind of exercise you do, and how much you weigh everyday?

  13. Well I cut pop completely out of my diet and I have a liter bottle of water that I carry around with me and fill up all day. So I get about 5-6 liters of water each day. I suppose you're going to tell me to quit drinking beer also. I only drink beer like once a week though. This is all good advice. I think I will up my cardio like Sass is saying. I love that elyptical machine at the gym. My running has pretty much been a 3 mile straight shot on pavement so it hasn't had that much resistance. Isn't it harder to get fat again if you replac the fat with muscle than if you just became a bean pole?
  14. Yeah I was thinking about Atkins again. I did it my freshman year and I lost about 20 pounds. I'm not sure I want to add mass. Maybe just turn the mass I have now into muscle. If I started putting on more muscle I'd look like a pro wrestler and weigh 300 pounds. I just want to get cut. Yeah I'm going to keep my cardio up. Although school is getting crazy so it's getting hard to work out when I want to.
  15. Alright yo. I know we had a thread about this a long time ago but I don't want to dig. Basically I've been jogging and doing cardio since the summer. I'm losing weight at a nice pace. I still have somewhat of a beer gut but I've lost the weight in my arms, legs, and face. The only problem is that all that has lost but no muscle has been built and my stomach still remains bigger which makes me look like a damn potato with tooth picks sticking out. So I was wondering if anyone had a good lifting plan? I've also been practicing Judo lately so basically what I want to do is get just slightly bigger but mainly tone up and get stronger. What's a good lifting plan? I look online and I just can't find one that suits me or hell I can't find one at all. What does anyone that lifts weights here recommend? Oh and by the way I'd probably only be able to do this about 3 times a week.
