  1. cabbage what part of bad knees, broken hand and broken foot do you not understand? Nobody can turn in a Heisman performance with those numbers. After the season he had surgery on all those things I just listed. So get over it. He was good enough to win it but KSU broke his hand and foot early in the game. And this season he's perfectly healthy and putting up good numbers of course his Heisman numbers were near godly but he's getting near it again and many though he wouldn't come close this season and he's proven them wrong. People said he couldn't come back from double knee surgery. He did that. People said he couldn't win the Heisman. He did that too. People said he couldn't come back after two devastating losses and all the injuries he had at the end of last season. He did that too. People said that he couldn't come NEAR his Heisman numbers. He's done that too. People say he can't win another Heisman. Well right now he's the frontrunner for that award.
  2. I love animals. I wouldn't mind having an Emu. It's kind of cute.
  3. There's talk out of Norman that OU wants to play Nebraska in the confernece title game b/c Stoops and Callahan just started a whole bunch of bad blood and Stoops wants to throw the ball the entire game to embarass Nebraska. Man after one little game the OU/Nebraska rivalry gets intense.
  4. Talk coming on the radio today is that OU wants to play Colorado in the conference title game b/c it will help them with the BCS b/c they'd be the best team out of the North for SOS.
  5. Undoubtedly one of the funniest things are people being chased by animals. Especially if the animal isn't that menacing but you run anyways. So who here has an amusing animal chase story? One time when I was working at Little Caesars I went to deliver a pizza to some people. They lived just on the outskirts of the city and had a lot of land. I walk up and what is standing in front of the door? A fucking big ass rooster! I didn't even see a god damn chicken coop anywhere. I was like "Umm.....hello? What the fuck?" It started walking towards me and I was like "Shit....." and the motherfuckers started running at me. I wasn't going to get sliced by his god damn talons so I took off back to my car. All I could do was sit in my car and honk until they came out of their house and called off the chicken of war. I was just like "Fucking god damn hicks with your god damn pet rooster!" I mean who keeps a pet rooster!? I was also chased by a turkey one time. My grandma owns a lot of land way outside the city and my great aunt lives out their to and she has a lot of wild birds as pets. She has ducks, guineas, and a freaking turkey. Those things are so god damn stupid. It chased my car and pecked at my tires. So anyone been chased by any animals? Anything funny?
  6. OU vs. Texas II would be nice. I say move OSU to the North so they can face off with OU every year. Bedlam II. That's become a more heated rivalry than OU/Texas b/c well......there's competition involved.
  7. That's what happens when you suck the meat missile and let the other division slap a saddle on you and ride you across the southern US.
  8. An entire city will be wiped off the map if ISU wins......and possibly half of Norman and OKC.
  9. If you hear that the entire city of Moore Oklahoma is a smoldering crater then you know what happened.
  10. ISU isn't a KSU. They don't have any talent to shock OU with like KSU did.
  11. OU's ranking is looking pretty solid there. Except maybe in the last one. It looks like they'll hold on.
  12. I'm sure they took out that quality win component. I'm pretty sure at least........ I'm so happy that OU now has an almost guranteed shot at the title. In Bob Stoops weekly press conference he said something about having to look impressive and drop 60 on opponents. So I think he's looking to go one dimensional against Baylor and the North champ by having White throw for 4 or 5 TD's in both games. Hell I bet he goes on and tries to drop 65 on both teams.
  13. So I can stop worrying about my Sooners getting left out of the title picture if they win out?
  14. Yes that is right. When Bud Wilkinson was the coach I believe. Not to mention they have 7 national titles which is a good number(it's more than most) and if Bob Stoops coaches for the next 15 years and ND and Michigan don't get their acts together OU will probably have the most titles in history. Not to mention they've also won like 38 conference titles and like 27 or something bowl games.
  15. Texas could easily lose to A&M though. So maybe everyone in Auburn land should become Aggie fans.
  16. Interesting fact that proves why OU is an elite team: they've got the highest bowl winning percentage of any team in the country AND they've won more games since World War II than any team in the country. This team has so much tradition and I was unaware of it in the 90's when they sucked. But once they come back to prominence all the tradition comes back out.
  17. So last year we have controversy with 3 one loss teams. OU, USC, and a team from the SEC named the Tigers. This year we have controversy with 3 undefeated teams. OU, USC, and a team from the SEC named the Tigers. Weird.......
  18. Well as of right now OU's schedule rank is 10 while Auburn's is 27 I believe. So they may just be far enough apart that Auburn can't make up ground. Plus if Auburn is close with Alabama and Tennessee then they might get shunted down to 3 again in the human polls or may just lose ground causing OU to remain high enough. I just don't know if the over 250 point deficit is enough for Auburn to make up. We'll probably know for sure after next week. Plus since OU is 1 in virtually all(2 in one of them?) of the Computer rankings and Auburn is 3 in all of them and 4 in another they would have to jump a lot to catch OU in half of the computer rankings. I think at this point it may take Auburn leaping USC to get into the title game.
  19. So even if Auburn becomes #2 in both polls OU is still going to maintain it's BCS ranking? B/c SOS was taken out of the computers so it shouldn't hurt OU or help Auburn in the computer rankings. That would mean that OU has pretty much got a solid hold on the #2 BCS ranking unless they lose. I hope.....
  20. They've already won more games than they did last season haven't they? And Tom's right. Warner was taking them to a 9-7 record. If they see the success Big Ben has had and that they're going to duplicate it then they're mistaken. Big Ben's got a better team to work with than Eli will have.
  21. Oh my god. Eli won't have near the success Warner did. Warner got sacked so much b/c the Giants O-Line sucks. It's not like Eli is going be able to do much more unless he can dump the ball off to a reciever in .5 seconds.
  22. Wasn't SOS taken out of the computer polls? So how can Auburns last two games affect their computer ranking? Does being #2 in both polls not make up the deficit? Wait a minute. If Auburn were to play close with Alabama and Tennessee and give up a bunch of points like OU did against OSU and A&M won't they get shunted back down to #3 by the fickle voters? Chris I'll trust you since you and 2GOLD seem to know the most about this. Can Auburn overtake OU without OU losing or playing Baylor and ISU close?
  23. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1923405 Callahan is pissed. Ha. We did give him and his players hell though.
  24. So then it's down to White and Smith. Right now there's 5 guys going for it. White, Smith, Leinhart, Peterson, and Bush. Nobody else is even near the top of the list on any polls. That means that it's pretty much down to White and Smith on the QB front of those 5. Smith does deserve it but he isn't going to get it b/c of who he plays for which is dumb. That means that out of Leinhart, Peterson, Bush, and White......White is the most deserving and the best player.
  25. Actually no. Jason White mostly threw the deep ball last year and he threw it more accurate than anyone else. You think you could put a 65 yard pass right into your recievers hands? Sure Mark Clayton and Mark Bradley do a lot of work but last year it was falling right into their hands and it's been happening this year to. People just refuse to give this guy any credit. Nate Hybl worked with the same defense and recievers that White had last year and didn't do NEAR what White did. And he didn't get two medical redshirts. He lost the 2001 season for blowing out his knees. In 2002 he played two games and tore the other ACL. He was granted an extra year of eligibility because he missed the whole season. He has worked within the rules to get this extra year.
