I liked teams from Boston. Get over it. Why is it so god damn important to all of you? I like the Red Sox. I've liked them since before they won the World Series. I had that Red Sox Flag in my sig back before the All-Star break when they were losing games left and right. Get over it.

Never said I was the biggest Sox fan in the history of the world. Just that they're my favorite baseball team and I liked them before I knew shit about baseball. The circle will be complete when the Celtics win another.

Gameday is in Stillwater. And they've already stated that if OU is 8-0 and A&M is 7-1 they will go to College Station next week.

Ok let me first say that you all know I got back into comics about 6 months ago. And on top of that I was really only ever into Marvel. Well my friend with his 170 some odd trades and about 130 of those being DC trades introduced me to the world of DC comics. Let me just say.....I haven't looked back. Oh sure I still enjoy Spider-Man but that's about it. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on: Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, JLA, JSA, Batman, Nightwing, and so on. Well I borrowed the Death of Superman trade from my friend and read through it and I was just thinking this.......seemed kind of anti-climatic. I know when it came out people were going nuts. Well now that you've had time to reflect does it seem that way to you to? And to the people that were into the comic industry at the time.....did you have that feeling? Did you think it was a cheap marketing ploy? And because I haven't really read further.....who was Doomsday? It just seemed like they created this ultra strong badass out of nowhere one day just so they could kill Superman.

Well the Lakers and Wizards are playing a preseason game tonight in the Ford Center in Oklahoma City. I want to go so bad but I don't have the money. I want to jeer Kobe in person dammit!

And I believe this is the first time in history College Gameday has been in Stillwater. And if OU wins and A&M wins they said they'd go to College Station to. Putting OU on gameday two weeks in a row. Man it sucks......our two biggest tests of the season are in a row on the road. Crazy stuff.

Man things are crazy down here. I haven't seen any fights started but I've seen some people getting crazy and ready. Unfortunately I have to go to work at 2! Dammit! Oh well it's an 11:00 kick-off so I can watch most of it and then go to work at 2. And since I work at Radio Shack the game will be on. Hehehe.....

The curse of A-Rod is in effect now. Wow it's the day after and I'm still feeling it. There's going to be this buzz for a while. Now it's time for my other Boston team(the Celtics)to rise to prominence. *sigh* I'm with yeah Celtics just keep trying....but at least Boston has something else to be proud of other than the Patriots! Whoo! And hey a team from Boston that I'm actually a fan of won.

A-Rod and Nomar have got to be flipping out. Course I don't think they would've won it if they'd kept Nomar in that lineup. But it's over.....I'm still excited. I gotta be up at 7 tomorrow to go sit in on a high school class and I'm to wired to go to bed. Somewhere the Dropkick Murphys are getting shitfaced.

Barron what do you do during these first innings that you don't watch? Sacrifice something for good luck?

I need to tell my kids where I was when the Sox won there first World Series in 86 years. The real question though is.....do they keep it up? Or do they go on a drought?

Fuck off. Anyway, for the actual fans of the team, this is the most resounding victory I've ever experienced. My phone has been ringing off the damn hook from Red Sox and yanks fans alike. This is what it's like to be a fan of the World Champion? I like it. Keep crying about it. Still doesn't make it true. I've been on the phone with all my friends tonight yelling at them b/c they said it was over. I remember after Game 4 of the ALCS I called my friend Chris and said "It's not over" and he said "Yeah it is." Game 5 I called him "It's not over" and he disagreed again. By Game 6 he was like "It's over." My friend that's a Cards fan. I told him they'd win he said "Cards in 6." He won't even answer his phone. This is great.

I remembered that. I was watching the first inning and Damon hit that homer and I was like "Barron must be doing something else....."
