Will Evan Tanner ever be able to make it back to the top of the middleweight division or at least contend? I know he didn't fare well in both of his fights against Franklin but I really like Tanner.

I don't mind the Capel hire. He might be more entertaining than Sampson and a better recruiter. I guess we'll see. A lot of OU fans are mad b/c it wasn't a big name hire. But I think it was a quota hire. With Sampson leaving OU had no minority head coaches.

What I think's funny is all the NFL guys are going on about how Vince Young is still above Leinart. They keep repeating that they've been told that by NFL scouts. But whenever you ask an ESPN analyst like Kiper or Salisbury or whoever it's "OH Leinart is just leaps and bounds above Young!!" Also where did this "Leinart just wants to be Mr. Hollywood!" stuff come from? I mean I hate celebrities as much as the next guy.....

Forrest is the only TUF guy that has a shot at a real world class fighter isn't he? I didn't watch UFC yet hardcore but looking at old cards even I was like "Franklin vs. Quarry? Franklin probably killed the guy!" Can anyone in that division take Franklin anyway?

Well without Peterson last season they couldn't even get close to sniffing the Big XII title but with him they beat a one-loss Oregon that was ranked 6 in the country. So your point is very well taken.

OU's spring game was on ESPN today. i was in the press box. It was so boring. The defense bitch slapped the offense again. They do it every year. They had fucking Adrian Peterson wearing the blue jersey like the QBs do. He's a fucking running back! Well he wore the blue jersey for other practices but at this one they just gave him blue numbers. It was weird.

How do we see the fights that weren't on TV? I wanted to see Koscheck.

With the recruits that OU gets and the history that they have and the coaching staff they have they should have more than one national title under Stoops. Dunno if they're underachieving but yeah......definitely underachieving in basketball though.

In addition to my Pride/UFC question where can I find UFC title histories? And are the Pride DVDs worth it? My local Best Buy has the 1-5 DVD set for 15.99 and the 12-16 set for 19.99. I've never really watched Pride before. What's so different between it and UFC aside from the Octagon and Ring?

How many hours a day do most fighters train? And how good are most Pride fighters compared to UFC fighters?

Did anyone hear Bill Walton on Mike and Mike in the morning? He was going on about UCLA in the tournament and how crazy the fans went and what will happen in the Final Four. The best part was where he said something like "And we may face this guy named Desmond Mason? No his name is George Mason? Who cares!" It has to be heard to be believed. It was one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

Yeah I understand that but how come it was still taught if kids back in the 80's were still getting beat up in school despite being a black belt or black belts were getting beat on in bars? And how did they survive from when they were invented to now if they were pretty much useless?
