I don't really care if Hogan is at WMXX or not, personally. But I think there's MONEY to be made in an Austin/Hogan match at WMXX, and they'd book it if they were smart. But they're not.
-
THE TSM? You mean, The The Smart Marks? What're you, the new head of the Dept. of Redundancy Dept.?
-
I don't know if this counts or not, but in the Tiny Toons movie, there's a scene where the kid Wile E. was driving a mail truck or something. Anyway, it was stopped, and the Road Runner was right in front of the truck. He jumped up, went "BEEPBE" AND GOT RUN THE FUCK OVER. I roared. Also, I'd like to point out that I just recently saw the cartoon where Fudd pretends to be crazy to put one over on Bugs. I LOST it when Fudd came out on top.

A LITTLE like Iron Maiden? Iced Earth is what Iron Maiden would be if Steve Harris listened to thrash metal. They got the gallops, they got the guitar harmonies, they got the epic songs written about epic poems - it's like the same thing 15 years later. Which isn't a bad thing - Iced Earth rule the school. You NEED Alive in Athens - such a fucking great CD. Oh, and one major difference between Metallica and Iced Earth... Metallica lick fucking goat ass these days. Iced Earth doesn't.

Yeah Bif, I'm Canadian. I also know New Scott, and in fact, I was at the Maritime Cup, which was probably the single best wrestling show we've had here in years.
-
Because Vince knew before he ever put them on TV that they were GOING to be the champion, come Hell or high water. This is what gets me most about "It takes time to create new stars". It takes less then a year if they put fucking EFFORT into it.

Parents and Husband battle for woman's life over
The Metal Maniac replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
To those who have asked if there was a better way for her to die - do you think it would be morally (or even legally) proper to inject her with something? I'm pretty damned sure that she could be killed, without feeling any pain, if they injected her with something (I don't know what, but something). But would that make her doctor a murderer? I mean, I can see the difference between letting someone die, and causing their death, but in a situation such as this, where she will be dead eventually anyway (Well, she WAS going to be) and where they've already done something to lead to her death (pulled the plug) do you think it'd be better if they just killed her, rather then let her starve? -
Bobby Rude. The guy is a damned good worker, which is coming from someone who used to watch him wrestle, literally, every single week. He's got the look, he's got a decent character (Though I'd assume the fed would change that) and he can go out there and wrestle. I wouldn't be shocked in the LEAST if the fed picked him up soon. For the record, if you're curious to see what kind of a worker he is, check out newscott.com - It's a tape-trading site, where you can get copies of (among many, many other things) the Maritime Cup, which was an 8-man, one night tournament in which Bobby Rude ruled the school. But in any event...that's my pick.

For the record, the Flying Dutchman is neither Dutch, nor Flying, to the best of my knowledge.
-
Yeah, but here's the important difference. Linkin Park's stuff was cliched before they were born, by people with more musical talent, and more ACTUAL pain then any of them probably ever have. Iron Maiden's stuff may be cliched, but that's because they made that cliche themselves.

Kawada went to powerbomb Misawa, Misawa tried to counter into a hurrancanrana, Kawada blocked that and then TRIED to pull Misawa back up for the powerbomb, but since he had a broken arm, he couldn't, so he just dropped to his knees with Kawada hanging in front of him. Hangman's DDT in the WWF 64 games, for the record.

YOU SWORE YOU'D NEVER TELL~!!!!! *Vows vengance*

Dammit Dutch, don't post while I'm posting. You put things all out of wack. I'm sorry I ever clicked on that damned link. And in retrospect, I DON'T care. Whore.
-
I care, dammit. I CARE.

I clicked on it. I don't understand it. They pay you money to read e-mail? What?

Yeah, it's technically proper. I just think it would've been more humourous had it been said using queen both times. You know, like "What, you wanna be a drama queen too? I guess being a FLAMING queen just wasn't enough." But that's just me.
-
The best advice I can give you is to remember this line that I ganked from Lowbrow.com one day: "No matter how beautiful you think she is, someone, somewhere, is sick of her shit."
-
Why on EARTH didn't you say "flaming queen"?

It worked for me. I think I have what you'd call surfer hair, only brown, because I'm against dying my hair. It's about long enough to reach my mouth, but it tends to curl a bit (especially in the back) near the bottom, which is probably because I never put any real effort into combing. But it's not cuz I wanted surfer hair - I just somehow look better with shaggy-ass hair, or so I'm told. Plus I fucking HATE getting haircuts. I always look like a chump afterwards. So, in conclusion, I'm a shaggy fucking hippy.

I didn't see this one, BUT... A buddy of mine was at the bars one night with his brother. Upon leaving the bar, they encountered a group of large, black women. The number varies from 6-10 (It was hard for them to remember exactly, because it was dark, they were drunk, and if I told you anymore I'd spoil the rest) but suffice to say, they were greatly outnumbered. Nasty words were exchanged, probably stemming from one of them trying to hit on one of the chicks, them taking it the wrong way, and then it escalated from there to a full-blown fistfight. Now, here's my buddy's moral dilemma: 1. He won't run from a fight. 2. He won't beg. 3. He won't hit a woman. So he walked away. As they were punching him. Lots. Like, I saw the guy the next day - he had an eye swollen shut, a huge cut on his face - it wasn't pretty. He just tried to walk away, without hitting back (though he probably did use a fair bit of nasty slurs). Course, had he tried to hit back, the fight would've ended in 3 seconds, cuz the cops would've shown up and arrested him, in all probability. Oh, and I almost forgot the best part. At one point, this one chick seemed to be legit concerned, and told him that he was bleeding pretty bad, and he should go see a doctor. So he put his hand on his face and looked at it (You know, to check for blood) and she used the opportunity to punch him in the face. Greatest heel tactic EVAH. I thought that was pretty crazy. And yes, I heard reports on it both from the guys in the "fight", and from another buddy of mine who watched it, so I think it's fair to say it's an accurate representation of the truth.

Uh, dude, compared to Zep and AC/DC, NO ONE gets a lot of airplay.
-
No one. As a Canadian, Dion embarasses me.
-
In that case, wouldn't his best bet be to get the word out to any nearby promotions that he's willing to rent this place out for less then he should? Like, if a fair price on the building is, say, $300 a night (I have no idea what the rates are anything like) and he says "wrestling shows can rent for $150", don't you think that'd help him out?
-
Well, fine then. 1. Bobby Rude (Excellent worker, but he's recently gotten into OVW, so I don't know if he counts.) 2. Scott Savage (Great, high-flying babyface the fans can really get behind.) 3. Sonny Soprano (I love Sonny. A big guy who's funnier then all hell, me thinks.) 4. Tony Armstrong (Pretty quick for a guy his size, and could make a pretty convincing champ.) 5. Lincon Steen (Can get really over with the fans based on the fact that he NEVER SHUTS UP.) Happy now, Jingus? All of these guys are local to my area (well, except Sonny...he travels up from Maine on occasion)...and since if I was starting a promotion, it'd be here...so those are the guys.

I had them. Not a big fan - I think I'll stick with the Spicy Chicken Combos... In fact, the only reason I bought them was because the Spicy chicken is so good, I figured that this was chicken from Wendy's, so it was worth a test. And for the record...in Canada...$7.45 with the Biggie Size combo, tax included.
