  1. who was first brought in as JIM CORNETTE'S lawyer
  2. What no Petula Clark?
  3. I'm late to the "Ben Affleck can eat a bag of dicks" band wagon, but I'm on it now. I think he's an awful actor and whether this film fails or succeeds will be on his shoulders. You can't fault the source material, director or surging again Uma Thurman. I also think the release date doesn't quite jive with this type of film. It probably would have done better released in February like Daredevil was.
  4. the girl in UYI's sig would appear to be Katie Holmes.
  5. Shatner's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is probably one of the best songs he does. And you have to keep in mind that he doesn't sing, he does dramatic readings set to music. His best cover, EVER, is Rocket Man. Especially if you can find the video to go with it.
  6. Clash 6 is the best 2 out of 3 falls and it's my favorite match of all time. The storyline and psychology of that match is brilliant. Not only do they play off of stuff from the earlier falls, but from the previous match. Seriously, if you draw up a list of the best matches ever (we're say in America so I don't have puro punks breathing down my neck) Steamboat and Flair are like in over half of them.
  7. Bad 'n Ruin by the Faces is on there. The Faces and the Small Faces are the same band. The difference being that Steve Marriot left to form Humble Pie and Jeff Beck Group members Rod Stewart and Ron Wood joined and the changed the name to the Faces.
  8. Vanilla Fudge was a funk cover band in the mid seventies and they did fucking sweet ass version of Ticket to Ride. Also, Frank Sinatra has said that Something was one of his favorite all times songs and would perform it often in his later years. Also, Yesterday is the most coverd rock song ever, this barring Christmas tunes and standards that have been around for years.
  9. I believe it was Quinn Buckner. And the whitest team ever in the NBA of the modern era would be the 1990 Milwaukee Bucks which featured a front court of white Poish guys such as Jack Sikma, Frank Brickowski and Larry Krystiowiak.
  10. who loves to talk about winning a gold medal on a broken neck, but he's still no Olympic hero like KEN PATERA.
  11. I learn something new everyday. I really did think Walgreens was owned by WalMart, not just for the name, but because the Walgreens in town came into being along with the Super WalMart and I assumed it was a packaged deal. I was out buying Care Bears for my niece at 6 a.m., but I didn't have the verve to run up the street to the Walgreens and see what they had.
  12. Wal-Greens is a pharmacy owned by Wal-Mart. They're your standard uber-pharmacy with a lot of random items. I doubt if they extend beyond America and Canada.
  13. R&R-as in when Goldie premiered he had the hots for RAZOR RAMON
  14. The Trisha Yearwood version is much better. For one, Rimes was like 16 at the time and didn't really understand the emotion of the song the way an older woman would. That's the reason the producers of "Con Air" cut Rimes and hired Yearwood to do it.
  15. B-as in the Stevie Richards used to hang with BLUE MEANIE

  17. To my knowledge there has never been a film version of the Sweeney Todd musical. There is a filmed version of the theatrical play from 2001 and there are non-musical versions of the story. Care to clarify?
  18. he's quite the slut magnet as MISSY HYATT has been seen on his arm too.
  19. Yeah, I can't say I've seen him wrestle either, but you have to respect history and Huttons seems like he was a solid worker and a good ambassador for the sport.
  20. A Star is Born (you can do both the Streisand and Garland versions) Yankee Doodle Dandy The King and I Fiddler on the Roof Xanadu Road to Rio Robin and Seven Hoods Guys and Dolls Going My Way Sun Valley Serenade
  21. that would be from the Chris Benoit vs. Kevin Sullivan match at GAB '96 where they were feuding over WOMAN.
