  1. Hey I listen to Duran Duran.
  2. I'm surprised we (As in Metal heads) didn't nitpick on the tiniest genre of music (swamp metal, doom metal, mathcore, power metal)
  3. Fuck. How long has he been playing Flamenco? If you want to learn some Flamenco stuff, the most recongized person doing that in the Rock business is Robby Kreiger of The Doors. Theory is the key of playing very well. Its best learning chords and scales, then just shredding away on the guitar, thinking your the next Eddie Van Halen.
  4. The new BLS CD is out now. Where have I been sleeping lately?
  5. Andrew Stevens
  6. Madden and Good Defence? Thats like Red Sox and Championships.
  7. Duran Duran > Nile. oh ya...
  8. eh I'm not impressed

POWER METAL DOES NOT SUCK!!! *MEDIDLY, MEDIDILY, MEDIDLY* *starts shrieking like Bruce*
  10. and Zeppelin number 4...Ugh...
  11. Hey at least Nirvana wasn't in the top 20. Thats a surprise
  12. I'll do the fourth nominee for some of the category, because I think some of these guys got left off. Hart: Ed Belfour. Probably, and single handily brought the Leafs to where they are, if it wasn't for his stellar playing, I do not think they would be where they are as of right now. Norris: Sheldon Souray. Well to bad for him being injured, cause he was a real strong candidate in being the Norris Trophy nominee/winner. Vezina: See Belfour. Calder: Ryan Malone of Pittsburgh Penguins. I think 3rd in points for rookies, and real leader for the team, and star power for such a shaky team. Jack Adams: Barry Trotz. Unbelievable season for Nashville, barely making it in the playoffs, and made Detroit earn for their win, but playoffs don't count. He has made this team to be better for the next few seasons (if any)
  13. Hart Trophy Martin Brodeur (NJD) Jarome Iginla (CGY) Martin St. Louis (TB) Norris Trophy Zdeno Chara (OTT) Scott Niedermayer (NJD) Chris Pronger (STL) Vezina Trophy Martin Brodeur (NJD) Miikka Kiprusoff (CGY) Roberto Luongo (FLA) Calder Trophy Trent Hunter (NYI) Andrew Raycroft (BOS) Michael Ryder (MTL) Frank J. Selke Trophy Kris Draper (DET) John Madden (NJD) Alyn McCauley (SAN) Lady Byng Memorial Daniel Alfredsson (OTT) Brad Richards (TB) Martin St. Louis (TB) Jack Adams Trophy Darryl Sutter (CGY) John Tortorella (TB) Ron Wilson (SAN)
  14. Do you honestly feel Rivet, Bouillon, Komisarek, and Markov scare me and name me one guy on the Canadiens other than Darren Langdon in terms of physical play that I should be afraid of. (no diving doesnt count) At least the Isles had people like Mike Peca, Steve Webb and Adrian Aucoin that were physical I cant think of anyone from the Canadiens that plays that hard hitting style (other than the afore mentioned Langdon). Don't expect Modin, Lecavailer, The Mighty Midget, or anyone else from the Bolts to be ducking and running. You are thinking about big guys, but lets see, almost every hab player took the body, and dished it out over the entire Boston series, and basically out muscling them for the entire series (except game 1 and game 7). You can go down the entire Montreal Canadiens roster and everyone one of them will take the body and dish it out.
  15. Its the Islanders. You can have a mediocore defence to stop them. Its one thing to be physical, but when the other team is dishing it out harder, can you hit them back. Islanders aren't a scrappy/hard hitting team, and Tampa really used their size. I'm just waiting to see Modin and others hiding on the bench when the game gets physical. Toronto is a weaker team than last year, and Phili got a whole lot stronger. Unless Toronto can get their 3rd an 4th line producing constantly, the series will be over before it started. Ah bitch bitch bitch. Does it hurt you that you can't watch the Leafs on Saturday night? Is there such thing as a non-whiny leaf fan.
  16. Calgary vs Detroit: Calgary in six. This is team of destiny of 2004, and they will go far, Detroit is just another speed block in its path. San Jose vs Colorado: San Jose in seven. Its the hardest pick out of the four series as both teams are even excepted goaltending which is leaning in SJ favour. Toronto vs Phili: Phili in five. How Toronto played Ottawa in the first round really makes me think that Toronto can not compete against a bigger stronger younger faster team that HITS and utilizes their lines properly. Belfour will steal one game, thats for sure, but Toronto will get thrown around like a rag doll (like last year). Montreal vs Tampa Bay: Montreal in six. Now I'm not being biased. These guys do have a shot at beating Tampa. Tampa has a bit more speed and a better goalie, but not a physical team, and a very weak defence. Theo will probably steal a game or two (or series) to get Montreal in the next round. I will say this, Montreal has better odds getting into the next round than Toronto
  17. Well he is a Southampton fan, I can see why he would say this.
  18. Vancouver really shit the bed after they tied it up.
  19. Now Toronto going to the golf course on Wednesday... wait.. I should put a spoiler tag there. Oh well.
  20. Well I said it after game 4. Montreal was going to win the series still. And they did. GO HABS GO
  21. Hey if the Bruins played like this the entire series, it would have been over by now. I predict this game will go to 2OT.
  22. Hey. Its King Diamond
  23. neither of these teams should be advancing into the next round.
