  1. What about the schools it left on life support?
  2. Since this is a thread about polls... Source: www.pollingreport.com/iraq Popular? EVERY pollster more or less agrees that the country is SPLIT over this war. Which the public overwhelmingly blames Bush for in the first place. Need I pull out polls for public opinion of Bush's handling of the economy? Oh, right, especially with pundits like Andy Sullivan and groups like Cato splintering their support of the big-government Bush administration. It's going to be close, no matter what; quite frankly, residual "patriotism" of rallying behind the president thoroughly affirms that it's not going to be a runaway election for the Democrats. However, your assertation that Bush is popular and his actions are widely accepted is ludicrous.
  3. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=crapshoot Whoa, I'm totally wrong by calling the election close, right? DAMN THOSE LIBERAL PROFESSORS.
  4. Name me three facets of your life that have improved because of the Bush administration.
  5. And your association with Bush is making you blind to the fact that his four years as president have been pathetic.
  6. The thing is, any of these candidates will immediately get 5ish percentage points by asking the voters if they're better off now than in 2000... because the answer to that is clear. Whether or not it's Bush's fault is irrelevant; we've had negative job growth, two major wars, and our civil liberties have been raided by his administration. If you think he's infallible, you're greatly mistaken. Right now, it's going to be a crapshoot.
  7. It's actually kinda funny, Gep feels threatened after the last debate I think.
  8. That's because no economists agree that's the primary cause of the recession. Do your own research.
  9. It's going to be a sweet day in November, that's all I have to say.
  10. Of course, considering their name recognition figures -- even amongst democrats -- is less than 30% on average.
  11. I assumed he meant specific ones, in which case, they haven't come out in a while.
  12. There haven't been any for about a month, so they should be coming out soon.
  13. http://www.pollingreport.com/BushJob.htm I was wrong, it's 58%. Regardless.
  14. Nah, the job approval rating taken by Faux, which shows him at an astronomical 59% as compared to every other poll.
  15. But these polls don't matter! Look at the FoxNews poll, that one has him higher, so this one is irrelevant!
  16. $77,302.71 God will smite all of you.
  17. Jesus, you flipflop more than Dean on public financing. *GOOOOONG!* Ah, self deprication.
  18. 5TH!?!??! Eh, it's about par for the course
  19. The difference is that Dean is a fairly likeable guy and doesn't speak about himself in the third person. Anywho.
