"And THAT'S, how you narrate a story!"
-
I don't think any of the Jays games in Oakland are on TV here, which sucks.
-
Shock and Aww (the one with Heather Graham) is one of my favourites. "Oh, I thought that was another one of your 'my wife is dead jokes'." "No, this is serious."
-
Well, sucks that Batista blew the save after being *this* close to striking out Bellhorn, but this win was more exciting, anyway. That fucking scoreboard had me thinking the ball was gone, though.
-
My old-man pitching staff isn't working out so hot. Only Schmidt is doing any good and that's only been one start.
-
Every fan thinks their team has a bad bullpen.
-
For the Jays, Jerry Howarth is ok, but Warren Sawkiw is horrible (going by his in-studio analysis on Jays games on Sportsnet last year and him being the colour man for baseball at the Olympics last year). Unfortunately, Tom Cheek's sick, so he's not doing many games yet (I think he only did part of opening day), but he's awesome.

I hate situations like this. The Jays have the winning run at the plate with no outs in the 9th and have already put a run in, but I'm more worried about Foulke's stats for my fantasy team.
-
These scoreboards in the walls at the Rogers Centre are going to take some getting used to. They're way too bright on TV.
-
He's done that before, too. Maybe last year or the year before.
-
Eh, maybe not. Bullpen strikes again, 6 runs in the 8th and it's 8-5 Tampa. So much for that World Series.

Is there an End Season Now button somewhere that Bud Selig could press?
-
It's a good show, but I find myself enjoying the sub-plot stuff more than the main one. They don't really do that good a job of making you care about the patient and the fact that they always 'win' kind of bugs me, too.

There's those lame commercials that they play during the day on TBS about people getting off their asses and getting a job. Especially horrible is the one with the air conditioning technician. 'Get you a cool job!' This new Molson Canadian commercial ('It starts here') has been playing pretty much non-stop it seems. And it's bad.
-
Holy shit, that ending was awesome.

"We shan't be telling your mother about this"
-
It's funny, because everyone's been talking for months about how the Jays are going to have to play small-ball and not rely on the homer and yada yada yada now that Delgado's gone... and they've gone out and hit 3 huge homers today.
-
Unless Batista blows this, the Jays are going to win it, even though Brazleton probably outpitched Halladay.
-
Was that 'Big Yellow Joint' playing when Oscar was using Buster's hand? And Buster with the rape horn was awesome. "I don't want no part of your tight-ass country club you freak bitch!'

The Jays game's on at 4. If they win today, they'll have a better record than they did at any time last year. Woo.
-
Calling an election now would be retarded and no one wants one until they think they can win a majority.
