I occasionally get really frustrated with e-fedding, because I come up with these long, sometimes intricate storylines that I put a lot of work into, and then they finally come to fruition...and the fed either closes down or hits a dry spell. I teased, foreshadowed, and finally executed an insurrection of the "farm league" of one e-fed, and it ended up with just me and another guy being the only two people left. The one I'm in now, I built up the fact that my character didn't care about titles, and just generally thought very little of them, from the beginning. So I came up with a storyline where he got attacked by a new guy he'd been working with because the new guy wanted a title shot. I took a break for "injuries" and when I came back I started going after the title. I finally won it and said that the promotion would be a better place if people weren't so caught up in winning the world title, so I was leaving and taking the belt with me. Two months of planning followed by three months of execution, and the fed is in the low-point of a down-swing. It's enough to make me just stick with TEW.

And he cut some of the best promos. I still say that for simple "guy cutting a promo on his opponent" promos, his one on DiBiase at Wrestlemania 6(?) is the measuring stick.

the fact that he said "I like Ring Of Honor" in the same sentence as "ROH fans are losers" should be a big tipoff that he's not all serious.

I was hoping Rendition would do better. Oh well, I'll be seeing it this week either way.

Wasn't one of the spoiler tagged references a Twilight Zone episode? No, it was a famous old short story which was afaik the first time that particular twist ending was done. I wouldn't be surprised if Twilight Zone did one like it sometime though. walkin' dude is correct, Twilight Zone took a French short film based on that story and turned it into an episode for the show's fifth season. IIRC, that episode also won an Oscar for best short film.

Good first few episodes of Earl. I've been really digging Ben Foster's work as of late, so any thing with him in it I'll be into. I kinda go back and forth on the Earl Backstory episodes, though. I firmly believe that after the next time they delve into what happened in Earl's past, My Name Is Earl will officially be worse than Lost on major characters inexplicably crossing paths in the past.

They both took the suicide of the lady that did the original voices for the female charcters pretty hard, so this is their way of saying "fuck you for doing that." ...or something. I've no idea.

Could use a better song, but not a bad advert.

I'm with spman. I dug that they were parodying King of Kong, but I didn't think it was that funny. Not nearly as bad as a Million Little Fibers, though.

I liked the cold opening, too. Those screensavers are addictive, man. I can't count the number of times I spent class time just watching the computer screensaver and wanting it to hit the corner.

Since I hate Phillip Glass, but I loved the visuals, I'd really love a re-scored Koyanisqaatsi. Geinoh Yamashirogumi was around back then, I'd like to see what they'd do with it, or maybe John Cage.

I'm totally fine with her head in the box. It's something happening at a point where there's probably going to be a lot of stalling and planning. Also, anybody else get a big 'ol smile when Sucre was revealed as the new gravedigger? That plus Michael still being smart as fuck re: the chemicals and the electric fence = damn good episode closer.
