Batista wasn't at a house show (well, maybe he was, that isn't stated). I'm just talking about the Melina/Sharmell thing being on the house show. I'll edit to make that clear.

Have you guys seen this bit yet on WWE.com? Zach Gowen with a fresh coat of paint? http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/anthonyrobles

This is from a PWInsider audio report, so I'll do the best I can. They say that a backstage incident took place at a recent house show over this past weekend between Sharmell and Melina. This is a result of the Booker/Batista deal, which happened in part because of Batista's close relationship with Melina and Batista expressed his anger over Melina going to a "wrestlers court". For some reason a huge pull apart fight happened between the two divas, with JBL (yes, JBL) playing the role of peacemaker. I don't know if it's been posted yet, but here are a few more details about the Booker T/Batista incident from a while back - Booker T was getting the better of Batista, and when the boys held back Booker T Batista then took his shots at him, which is what we saw. When that happened, Sharmell then got involved and that's where the scratches on Batista's face came from. Anyway, at SD last night all of the guys and gals involved had a strict talking to, and as of right now it looks like that we're more than likely going to see Melina somehow punished for everything, since she's looked at as the lowest on the ranking. So, more than likely, we'll see MNM get demoted also for a while, and possibly have MNM drop the tag belts to London/Kendrick at the PPV this Sunday. Point being, the heat is going straight towards Melina. I almost posted this as it's own thread, but, there you go.

Is it going to be on the Sci-Fi network because an ECW show in 2006 will be like going back in time?

And, just for the hell of it, from PWInsider:

Nah, Terry Funk, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, and Paul Orndorff should join back up. This time to put a stop to the new DX.

There are only two ways that I'll be watching this PPV. One, my birthday is Saturday so someone might order it for me. Two, I'll download it after it goes off and watch it the following day. I don't think Rey should win, but not just because of his jobbing. Rey already looks like shit, he has all year other than his two big wins at RR and WM. We have seen him job cleanly to Mark Henry and Kahli. As far as I'm concerned, his days as a main eventer, ever, are totally over. Not only would it not make sense to have Rey beat JBL considering everyone else has already beat him, but if Rey does beat JBL, then will that say about JBL himself? I never usually believe stuff like this, but really, I think Rey is totally ruined when it comes to the main event. Having Rey beat JBL would just make JBL look that much worse as well. I don't see any reason in fucking up two of their top stars in this mess. The only possible way that it would be acceptable for Rey to beat JBL even in the slightest is if JBL turns face almost right away, and he just isn't ready for that yet, at least not in my opinion.

Memoirs of a Geisha, that's the best pick. I remember a ton of talk about how it was going to be a huge hit winning award after award, but that was not to be. Jarhead did get solid reviews from most critics, and as far as the other flicks, I don't really remember the award talk being all that thick around them. None of them compare to the hype surrounding The Da Vinci Cod though. I don't see how anyone could have predicted the bad reviews for it like this. It stars Tom Hanks who is usually in solid "big pictures", and Ron Howard direction seemed like a plus. Add that to the fact that the book is over huge with so many people, and you had the makings of a decent flick. A part of me also expected critics to be more gentle on this one than other films, simply because of the subject matter. Eh, either way, I'll have fun watching the backlash. EDIT: I was reading over Ron Howard's work and he's listed as a producer for Beyond the Mat. To what extent was his involvement...and why?
-
I think we need to talk about Bubba Nosferatu, starring Bruce Campbell and Paul Giamatti, directed by Don Coscarelli. :D
-
Ok, so name the flicks over the past few years that had people talking in a big way, some even talking major award consideration, and the movie ended up getting shit on when the reviews came in (not just talking about no awards being given to it in the end).
-
I've got a free pass for both flicks. I'm up for checking out SNE for free, but not so much for DVC. I've never really been all that interested in it anyway, not the book or the movie. I just find it funny that I've heard some people saying that this could be a huge contender for awards and shit, and here we are nearing release day and it's getting destroyed by critics. I can't really remember the last time we've had a case just like this.

It's sitting at a big fat 0% at RT so far with seven reviews counted. Is it possible that fucking See No Evil could end up with a better RT rating than The Da Vinci Code? I'm really going to enjoy the backlash of Da Vinci, this will really be fun.
-
I may be wrong since I only checked it out for a second, but are just about all of the single player mini-games the same ones from Mario 64DS? I'm up to 1-4 so far and I'm loving it just as I knew I would. Bring on Zelda DS!

I just went into WalMart here in Seneca, and even though they said they didn't have it in earlier today when I called and asked, it was there just now. They said they just got a late shipment in about 30 minutes before I got there, so lucky me. Not only did it save me the gas money by buying it in Seneca instead of all the way in Anderson, but they also price matched the CC price no questions asked. They just called the CC in Anderson, and that was that. I'm just now diving into the game, so this should be great.

I can't be the only one who thinks that Rey winning would be total bullshit.
-
I like how they had Orlando Jordan be the guy to tell Nunzio about it.

This one is a hell of a lot closer than I thought it would be: Professional Wrestling vs. Mixed Martial Arts

Can any of you make sense of these Google Trends searches? WWE ECW TNA ROH WCW All five
-
Well, it's not like that a huge spoiler or anything.
-
HAHAHAH Yep! How much fucking caffeine did you take in before this thread? A DX commercial just aired in Charlotte again, so says my nephew.
-
Awww, HHH was hearted.
-
I hope Rey Mysterio is ready for May 19th!

The Undertaker will defeat Kahli at the next PPV, but only by DQ when Kahli uses chloroform to knock Undertaker out. Then, at the Great American Bash, Taker will defeat Kahli to regain possession of the urn! OMG!
-
I love the Edge/Foley double team finisher. I see why they thought of putting DX back together while this is also going on. It's going to take something major on the top of the card to make it seem like anything else is going on on WWE TV while this ECW stuff goes forward.

If I had a head like yers, I'd have it circumcised. Hey Foley, your wife's a whore. Hey Foley, your kids are bastards! Hey Foley, hey Foley, the WWE sucks.
