Downhome replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
From PWInsider: -
I don't know if any of you care, but sportstalkNETWORK.com is doing an all day show, as well as a WM post-game show that you can either listen to or watch, and it's free. From PWInsider: http://sportstalknetwork.com/ Since the show is just a little over 28 hours away, and it is the biggest show of the year, I figured it would be fine to go ahead and start this thread. A few quick notes: -Sunday, April 2, 2006 7pmET * 4pmPT Chicago, Illinois -WrestleMania 22 Press Conference -There will be a WrestleMania post-game show on WWE.com And here is the final card, not counting whatever matche(s) they include on the pre-show:

A major April Fool's gag involving Bret Hart to go down?

I wish that this year's WrestleMania card was an April Fool's joke, and tonight they'll let all of us in on it and finally announce the real lineup. -
Peterson Family offers reward for capture of Laci's real killer

This reminds me of that South Park episode where all of these obviously guilty people came to help out Butters' parents when they thought they had killed him. -
Yeah, nothing left to say until the big 3 or 4 disc set to be released later this year.
-
Yeah, but you can sure can say which one entertained you the most.

You can't really compare Slither to The Hills Have Eyes at all other than the fact that both flicks have horror elements. I enjoyed them both in completely different ways. But I still enjoyed Slither a hell of a lot more.

We need some Kurt Angle before & after pictures.
-
What the hell, I'll go ahead and post it here also: Just for fun, here is a list of everything Mysterio has done this year. I'll put in bold everything that made him look like a twat, as well as the times that he lost a match: January 6, 2006 - Smackdown!: MNM (Mercury & Nitro) defeated Batista & Rey Mysterio in a Cage to retain the Tag Team titles! January 13, 2006 - Smackdown!: Rey Mysterio participated in a 20-Man Battle Royal for the World title (won by Kurt Angle).. January 20, 2006 - Smackdown!: #1 CONTENDERS MATCH: Mark Henry w/Melina Perez vs Rey Mysterio.. Mark Henry pinned Rey Mysterio to secure a World title shot at Royal Rumble (Angle has his work cut out!) January 21, 2006--WWE Live Event: Rey Mysterio participated in a special "Tribute to Eddie Guerrero" show in Monterrey, Mexico.. January 27, 2006 - Smackdown!: Mark Henry w/Daivari defeated Rey Mysterio in a rematch.. ~~~Rey Mysterio also dedicated his predicted 'victory' in the Royal Rumble to the memory of Eddie Guerrero.. January 29, 2006 - Royal Rumble: Rey Mysterio entered at #2 and miraculously won the Royal Rumble match!!!! February 3, 2006 - SD!: Randy Orton made tasteless comments about Eddie Guerrero and challenged Rey to put up his title shot.. ~~~MAIN EVENT: Mark Henry & Randy Orton beat Rey Mysterio & Kurt Angle (Rey accepted Orton's challenge for No Way Out.. February 10, 2006 - Smackdown!: Randy Orton spoke negatively of Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio attacked Orton again! February 17, 2006 - Smackdown!: Rey Mysterio beat Sylvan (Randy Orton cut a promo saying Rey will never main event a WM).. February 19, 2006 - No Way Out: Randy Orton defeated Rey Mysterio to win Rey's title shot at WrestleMania 22.. February 24, 2006 - Smackdown!: GM Long decided to add Rey Mysterio to the WWE title match at WM22 making it a 3-WAY! ~~~MAIN EVENT: Chris Benoit & Rey Mysterio & Bobby Lashley defeated Randy Orton & John Bradshaw Layfield & Fit Finlay.. March 10, 2006 - SmackDown!: Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton & Mark Henry w/Daivari ended in a No Contest.. March 17, 2006 - SmackDown!: Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio & Randy Orton defeated Mark Henry & MNM (Mercury & Nitro).. March 18, 2006 - Saturday Night's Main Event: RAW (Triple H & John Cena) beat SD! (Kurt Angle & Rey Mysterio & Randy Orton).. March 24, 2006 - SmackDown!: Fit Finlay defeated Rey Mysterio with help from Randy Orton RKOing Rey Mysterio! ~~~Randy Orton interfered later in Kurt Angle's match, bring Rey down to help, but Rey accidentally hit Angle, causing problems.. March 31, 2006 - Smackdown!: Kurt Anlge defeated Rey Mysterio perfectly clean, Rey tapped out. After the match Randy Orton got in the ring and gave Rey the RKO, leaving him laying outside of the ring as Kurt and Orton went at it. So, he won the Rumble, beat fucking Sylvan, and was on the winning team in two different tag matches, and in one of those Randy Orton made him look like a total moron. I also put in bold where it talks about Teddy Long putting Rey in the match, just because it was such a cheap way to do things, and made it look like Rey didn't really deserve it...but they went ahead and just let him because they felt sorry for the guy. Now that I look at all of this "on paper", I'm not sure where any excitement even came from in the first place. They have treated him like shit all year except for that Rumble win, and even there they didn't let it be the main event. And all of this is just about Rey. What they've done to Kurt Angle is a totally different story. EDIT: The March 3, 2006 Smackdown isn't listed above because he isn't listed as even being on that show, the show right after he actually beat someone (JBL, tag). EDIT AGAIN: I just edited the above to add what happened at Smackdown tonight.
-
I just edited my list of what Rey's done this year to add what happened on SD tonight.
-
Holy shit. Guys, go back to whatever thread it was that I posted everything that they've done to Rey Mysterio this year, that makes him look like a complete douche. Then, once you've read it, add to the end of it the fact that they had him tap out perfectly cleanly to the champ and THEN had Randy Orton kick his ass.
-
Yeah, holy shit Kurt is smaller. He still looks great, and is great in the ring, but he is a lot smaller. I can't believe that it happened so quickly.
-
That's exactly right lovecraft231. Also, there is a quick scene after the credits. I didn't stay long enough to see it, but I've been told that it's
-
And after that finish, I proclaim Super Crazy the "god of the week".
-
They are using this time, the last show before WrestleMania, to build up the big cruiser match on the show!! Right???
-
I've been thinking for years that Mark Henry would make a decent manager, wearing suits all the time.
-
I'm out of my fucking mind for liking a movie that you didn't really care for, holy crap! I said: and most people who have seen the flick agree with me. From the moment I saw the trailer, I knew that I'd love it, and I knew a cult following would begin. Yeah, I was more entertained by Slither than Inside Man. It had me laughing throughout most of it, enjoying the homage's to all of the other flicks, loving the gore that we saw, and really digging the unusual plot. I wasn't as entertained by Inside Man all the way through as I was with this one, so sue me. And I'm not starting any fanboy shit. I've been behind this flick for months, and to me it delivered everything that I was expecting. Once this one started to actually get good reviews from critics, I predicted that there would be certain horror fans that turn on it. I'm not saying that's what you are dong, if you didn't like it all that much that's cool, but I do think that's going to happen for some fucked up reason. It's a campy B movie, with money behind it as well as a major studio, and that pisses some people off for some reason.
-
This is a match that you never could have predicted as happening, ever. What's going to happen next year? Jeff Hardy/a rookie/Adam Bomb vs. a rookie tag team/Norman Smiley?
-
He thought he was on the set of I Drink Your Blood!!!
-
If only he was a member of DX.
-
They should have just debuted him as Miz "The Jizz" Johnson.
-
Just another example of how pathetic they are with trying to get that douche over.
