  1. And I said it the second Randy Orton started his "Legend Killer" gimmick. Just once I'd like to go to WWE.com and see them post something like: World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of _______________. And fuck em, we're better off without em.
  2. In the past month, I have finally bought this DVD two different times from two different pawn shops in the area. I haven't finished watching it yet, I'm about halfway through, but I've got to say that it's a really good film so far. It is making me wish that Pryor had done more dramatic roles in his film career.
  3. Here is the best I can do right now:
  4. What have been the ratings for this dog show over the past ten years?
  5. I haven't watched the entire PPV yet, but I must say that the ending to the Christian/JJ match was one of the all time great moments in wrestling as far as I'm concerned. They did it perfectly with all of the buildup on the pre-show, then right before the match as well. Now if only Edge was still WWE champ, we'd have Edge, Christian, and Angle all with titles.
  6. Would any of you be interested in me uploading entire OVW shows to YouSendIt? So far, I have all of the episodes this year, except for the most recent one (and that one will be around pretty soon).
  7. I just uploaded one that I think fits this topic: Lou Thesz (74 years old) vs. Masahiro Chono (27 years old) This match is from 12/26/1990, in Hamamatsu, Japan. The then 74 year old Lou Thesz, wrestling legend, takes on his then protege, Masahiro Chono, 27 years old at the time. This would be Lou Thesz's final pro wrestling match, after 58 years in the industry.
  8. Because on this coming RAW Vince is giving him a retirement party, or something like that.
  9. Ok, Hart, Guerrero and Dusty, Steamboat, Dibiase, The Freebirds, and Arn Anderson? That's a fantastic list. Almost all of them could be the "main guy" inducted in any given year.
  10. *groan* I have to disagree with you. That is brilliant! I just wish he had a better move than "Standard Hoss Wrestler Finisher #42-B: Pumphandle Slam." Give him back that reverse powerslam that he used on Simon Dean. So how do you "beat" the guy? Hit him with 9 moves then reverse the Slam and nail your big move? Maybe the Boogeyman "loses all his powers" if his big move doesnt pay off? I totally agree. I'm going to have to find some video of this new gimmick. If, for some reason, they can't induct Owen Hart without permission (I highly doubt that though, they more than likely want to get her to OK it out of respect and to have everyone on board), they could just induct the Blue Blazer character. I think it's the same deal as Bruno. They *could* induct him, but they don't want to do it without him actually there, and they don't want to induct Owen without his wife being on their side for it.
  11. Russell Crowe looked different in that commercial for Gladiator on my local station for some reason.
  12. Cena is a bastard. He doesn't come down to save Hacksaw, after Hacksaw comes down wanting to be the special ref. Cena wins his match to pick the special ref, but he then doesn't even think about picking Hacksaw.
  13. They could bring in Shakira to be their valet then. Isn't she under 5 feet? Finlay is awesome. He should come down to the ring with a human femur bone as his weapon of choice.
  14. This guy reminds me of Hank Hill's father on King of the Hill. Someone blew his shins off!!!
  15. We now know what Rey Mysterio would be doing if he was just now making his debut in the USA, in WWE.
  16. That's a junior? Isn't it just a short guy?
  17. Had Boogeyman been a part of that segment, we all would have been blinded by the glory of it all.
  18. Welcome to the "most fucked up" segment of the week, other than Eddie stuff. Palmer Cannon? Check. Palmer Cannon with midgets? Check. Super Porky? Check. Super Porky eating a whole ham? Check. Ken Kennedy? Check. Ken Kennedy tickling the midgets? Check. Paul Burchill, pirate? Check. Paul Burchill, pirate, running the midgets off? Check.
  19. I wish someone would shut that bitch up that keeps screaming. Yes, that was horrible.
  20. I refuse to believe that FBTG wasn't ever actually in the drama club in high school.
  21. Yeah, they just might!!!
  22. I agree with everything you have said in this thread so far. The only slight difference, is that not only has none of this convinced me to buy NWO, but it's actually convinced me not to buy the PPV. I'll download it and watch it, but I wont be paying for it. I see Orton winning, getting the title match, and Rey goes on to WM to wrestle in an EG tribute match or something in the midcard. I just don't think they have changed their minds on Orton at all.
  23. I don't even think that there is a chance that Rey wins that match. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that they told the family that just to get them to agree to it, and they end up doing just the opposite after it gets put into motion.
  24. I just want to know why in the hell the family would agree to this. The only thing that I can think of, is that WWE really does have a cash flow going for the family, and they are willing to go along with it, to keep that going.
