  1. More on the above Vince news bit: http://www.georgiawrestlinghistory.com/new...7/07/03-11.html
  2. I loved this movie so much, great, great stuff. I've been wanting to see a great action flick like that for a while, so I'm happy. Sure, I wish it had been rated R but I guess we can all get that on DVD or whatever. Heck, I'd consider going back to watch it again since I loved it so much. Also, when John McClane was explaining why he continues to do what he does, there's no one else to do it right now, one can't help but think about Bruce Willis himself saying that in response to why he's still doing an action flick like this. In my opinion, few do it as great as Bruce. If you can't find something to enjoy about this one, then I'm not quite sure what else you want in a popcorn action flick.
  3. And then there's this: http://www.georgiawrestlinghistory.com/new...7/07/03-10.html
  4. We can all rest easy now, since we all know that Jerry Lawler would never lie to us: Video
  5. I just came across this - Bryan & Vinny talking about the Angle/Rhino/Christian match: http://www.zshare.net/audio/25520849664c81/
  6. If true, this is obviously worthy enough to start a new thread over, but as of right now nothing is official and I haven't heard anything about it from anywhere else so just to be safe I'm going to stick it in here: http://www.georgiawrestlinghistory.com/new...7/07/03-06.html
  7. If Benoit's doctor made a deal and totally opened up, and gave up a bunch of names and admitted everything, would anything technically happen to any of the guys? Let's say that someone else was getting the same sort of treatment that Benoit was receiving. Is it all on the doctor, or would any of them get in a lot of trouble as well?
  8. That means next to nothing. I've known two people who were held back in kindergarten - not because they were slow or had anything mentally wrong with them, but just because they were naturally physically smaller than the other kids their age at the time, and their parents wanted to hold them back just so they wouldn't always be so much smaller than the other kids their age.
  9. Since RAW is so packed right now, I think a decent angle for Lashley would be one where he is still booked to be very strong, but for some reason he can never get his big title shot. Like in this match, he could look strong at the end, but not make it in time. He could get sidetracked in feuds with other people for any number of reasons, get screwed over, and so on, all the while building him up, getting the fans more and more behind him wanting him to finally get that big shot.
  10. We just saw the WWE moment of the year.
  11. JR and Lawler need to remind me why he's called Super Crazy again.
  12. How long has Val officially been a job guy now? So many wasted years.
  13. Has anyone mentioned what Umaga is doing at SS yet?
  14. Hell yeah, didn't expect him to be on the show tonight.
  15. Yep. After those four have their matches, Regal says that there's still one more match to to, and he gets in there with a jobber, or someone working with him, and beats them in just a few seconds or a minute or so. I'd be all for that.
  16. Yes, Regal as GM or RAW tonight.
  17. Mark Jindrak When mentioning the initials, it says that between April 2004 and September 2005 he dispensed drugs including Percocet, Xanax, Lorcet, and Vicoprofen to the two of them. Mark Jindrak was not only in WWE at that time, but he was in the middle of a push, working with guys like Eddie, Rey, and Kurt Angle. This is also around the time when he was known as "The Reflection of Perfection". He also lives in Atlanta, Ga. The Smoking Gun has some documents related to the Benoit case online: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years...071benoit1.html
  18. Like I posted above, from USA Today in March of '04:
  19. In the public indictment for the doctor, for the prescription painkillers, the initials "MJ" and "OG" are used for clients. OG could be Rey Mysterio, since his real name is Oscar Gutierrez. Wasn't he one of the guys named earlier this year? I found this from the USA today in March '04: From PWTorch:
  20. Yeah, I just saw that on PWInsider. Holy shit.
  21. I just noticed that I heard about RAW being set up to look like a funeral was from the WON notes:
  22. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,287690,00.html
  23. The following was posted on WO earlier today: Throughout this week, I've went on YouTube a few times to watch various Benoit promos and matches, and I can't help be feel a little uneasy while watching all of it. While watching his matches, I can still say to myself that it's fantastic work, but I can't block out the fact that, you know, he killed his wife and child and then himself. Everything I he goes for the Crossface I feel disgusted. Then with his promos, I can't help but be freaked out by most of them. While what he's saying doesn't relate to what he did this past weekend, it's still freaky. Hearing him in promos say that his hands are lethal weapons, saying that he doesn't have a stable mind and he's going to hurt someone bad, and so on. I know that there's nothing there, but you can't help but think about everything. And in case you haven't had your fill just yet, the LAW is about to come on:
  24. The three hour RAW was planned to be totally based around the memorial for Vince. I've heard somewhere, either from Meltzer, the guys at PWInsider, or something along those lines, that Vince told everyone in the company to bring a black suit just as you would wear to a funeral. Before the news of Benoit broke, they had the stage set up with flowers, a casket, and other such bullshit.
