  1. Crimson Mask I at WC just posted the following:
  2. Piper would make an interesting ECW GM Put Dusty over RAW. Let the fun times roll.
  3. I wonder if Eddie's death just finally triggered something in Benoit. In the video I posted before, Benoit said about Eddie: "He was the one friend that I had, that I could go to, and pour my heart out to if I was going through something. If I had a personal issue, or a personal problem, he was the one guy that I could call and talk to, and know that he would understand, and he would talk me out of it. Because of all of the experiences that he had been through." With the rumor that Benoit started acting different about a year ago, it would make sense, and add to it all of the other stuff that had been going on in Benoit's life, and him already having a history of having a temper...yeah.
  4. Here is Benoit remembering Eddie in 2005: If you watch it, you'll know why I posted it.
  5. I wonder if on ECW tonight, Vince might say that he's sorry for the Benoit tribute, and tonight he's going to present a video tribute to the one who truly deserved it (Woman, along with clips of the son as well maybe), and since Woman was quite important in ECW at one point, it would make even more sense.
  6. I must have missed something, or must be out of the loop, just seemed like a regular interview to me. His answers about steroids. Most guys within the business either avoid those questions or flat out say now. There, Bret flat out says that it's possible roid rage had something to do with it, and then basicly mocks WWE's testing system.
  7. http://video.canada.com/Video.aspx?23863&ch=global That interview with Bret Hart sure is something else...
  8. Wow, Smith is actually mentioning Dynamite being Benoit's idol, and how in Pure Dynamite he talks about his own personal steroid used. I didn't see them pulling that one out.
  9. Shepard Smith's show is coming on, and oh boy is he building up the Benoit case.
  10. I'm only posting this because it's so weird. It's obviously just one of those things WWE.com makes up, with fake quotes more than likely, like the old wrestling magazines used to do: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/archive/snebenoit
  11. I think what we'll see is something of a system where they the rotate guys that they use. Let some work on TV, others have time off, and back and forth. Switch them out as needed for various angles.

  13. After all of this news today, I could see wrestling fans at the shows actually chanting against Benoit, in a huge way, along with signs as well.
  14. This this shit continues to get worse, I'll never know...
  15. It isn't going to be the end of professional wrestling, it will go on, but you can bet your bucks on huge changes coming from this, and I'm not just talking about a stupid Vince angle being dropped. I don't know what those changes will be, but I don't doubt for a second that this is the start of a new era, if you will, for this industry.
  16. A Bible placed at the side of each of the victims... EDIT: And Nancy was tied up, bound.
  17. Thanks, I'll check it out just to see what people are saying.
  18. CNN is talking about fans going to the net and forums to vent about all of this, the Vince storyline, a list of all of the wrestlers who have died, and other stuff like that.
  19. In case you can't get to a TV, you can watch the 3PM press conference here: http://media.myfoxatlanta.com/live/index.html
  20. By saying that, I don't mean I'm going to start discrediting his work. No, his great matches will always be great matches. What changes is how you view those matches from this day forward. I don't see how anyone could ever watch a Benoit match again and not see a man who killed his wife, Woman no less, and child. I'll still watch his matches, enjoy them, but I'll just have all of this baggage while I view them now.
  21. If that TMZ report is totally true, well, let's just say that Chris Benoit was a "special" sort of monster. It's one thing to kill someone in a fit of rage, when emotion overcomes rational thought. It's still a sick thing to allow it to come to that, but it's at least understandable in a way, at least compared to what Benoit is being accused of. No, if it's true that he killed his wife, allowed time to then past after he had time to gather himself and sort his emotions out, and then after actually thinking about it he went ahead and killed his very own child, yeah...that's something on a totally different level than many of the killers we so frequently hear about. Then to take it to yet another level, he actually remained in the house with his dead family, only to kill himself hours later. I hate it, but if such as that is true, my respect and admiration of any sort for Chris Benoit died right with him.
