Why did WWE just blow the Kane/Goldberg feud? It's yet another one of those things that I'll never understand.

Everyone who was in ECW full time, and became "known" there, I still think of as an "ECW guy/gal". Hell, to me Lita is still an ECW gal. They might as well try it, as it isn't like most of the ECW guys will ever get a shot in WWE as we know it.

I don't see any Family Guy streams or anything like that, are they only up at certain times?

Have Vince get pissed at Paul Heyman and "fire" him as GM, maybe right after WrestleMania. Just have Heyman bring ECW back and have him be on that show, and have them totally seperate. Maybe have Vince do something so horrible to Heyman that it causes a bunch of the former ECW talent that is current on RAW/SD to walk out and just go with Heyman, and while they are at it maybe pick up a few more former ECW talents to join the bunch. It could work, but as they say, it's got to be done right. Something WWE rarely does this day and age. Speaking of Shotgun Saturday Night, do you guys remember the Tombstone on the escalator?

I am outraged today. Last night I watched what was the best Super Bowl game that I have EVER seen, and yet, all ANYONE is talking about on TV or on the radio is a freaking tit. Ugh, grow up America. Either do something about it (and they should) or talk about the football game and forget about it. I'm not talking about you guys, it just seems like TV and radio don't want to even mention that a game was going on.

I hope you don't mind if I bump up an old thread, I just don't want to start an entire new topic just to say this, so whatever. I bought this game about a month or so ago, and I never really got into playing it. I've been feeling sick the past three days or so and I sat down wanting something to do, and I decided to finally play this game. In the past 3-4 days, I have played through this game all the way to the end, beat it, started "challenge mode", and played through the entire game once again buying every single one of the weapons, etc... I loved the game while it lasted, but good lord was this game a piece of cake, it's quite possibly one of the easiest games that I've ever played. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but it was just too easy. I loved the basic gameplay where you just run, jump, and shoot, but I HATED just about every other gameplay aspect. You know what I mean, have it be the "Giant Clank" missions, the flying missions, the rails, etc... They aren't hard or anything, I just didn't have a lick of fun doing them. Had they put just as much time on those gameplay aspects as they did with the basic run, jump, shoot gameplay, it would have been so much better. The bosses and the battle arena, while fun and all, were just WAY too easy. The first time I beat the game, I beat the last boss after just a couple of attempts and finally did him in really quickly, just a minute or two. When I went through it the second time I beat the final boss, and I'm dead serious, in about 10-20 seconds. I mean, come on now, that's f'n insane. Some of the weapons in the game, well, some are just TOO powerfull. When you get the mega versions of that shield and of those four little robots that hover above you, you are basicly invincible. Add to that the Zodiac, the Rhyno II, and the special full body armor (I forget what it's called, but it looks awesome, like a mecha-Ratchet or something) and you could do whatever you want to in the game just about with your eyes closed. Even with that, I could play through the game over and over again, it's just that much fun for the most part. I can't wait untill the next installment in this game, but I just hope they fix a few of these points. Focus a bit more on the other gameplay aspects (they have all but mastered the run, jump, shoot gameplay), tone down the weapons just a bit, flesh about the next story just a bit more, and it'll be fan'freaking'tastic. I give it a 9/10, only because it was so insanely easy, and that I hated the seemingly just tacked on extra gameplay elements.

I'm loving this football game, frustrating, pissing me off, shocking me out of nowhere, nice comeback by the Panthers picking up the TD when they need to more than ever.

My God, this is just insane.

I was looking at a few sites tonight and came to Aint-It-Cool, and they have a link to another site where they review the script for this film. I haven't read it, as I don't want to have anything spoiled, but I thought I'd post it in case any of you want to check it out.

No it's not a racist film, it's entertainment, it is presented in a way where you feel as if you are in Japan. It brings the confusion of being over there to the viewer, not being able to understand the language, not understanding their customs, etc... Anyone who sees this film as racist, anyone, is a mindless idiot.

Pick up American Splendor also.

Lost In Translation is such a fantastic film, I watched it just the other day. The ending of the film is just perfect, I couldn't have asked for more. Just like with Big Fish, there isn't a single thing that I didn't like about LiT.

If you don't have the brains to notice the difference between a cruiser match and a spotfest, then you are a lot worse than a "dumb fuck".

That's pretty cool news. I downloaded some footage of Ep. III the other day, and the few parts that I did see looked pretty sweet, ie., Anakin looking more and more like Darth Vader, them going over (what I guess) is the fight scene mentioned here, and some clips of Chewie.

I thought so, but I live in SC and all of the Wal-Marts around here have both of the DVDs, in their bargin bin, for $5.50 each, or two for $11. I couldn't believe that they had them here.

Does everyone die of some form of cancer these days? I hate to hear this about this person, even though I've never heard of her, but whatever. It just seems that just about everyone I hear of that died, died of cancer, more so now than ever. Or maybe I'm just paying more attention to it, I dunno.

Of course they made him look bigger in the flashback sequences of the film. The entire premise of the film is about Ed Bloom telling various stories about his life, and just exaggerating when he does so. So when telling the story about the "giant", he says that he is much bigger than he actuall is/was. You know how it is, just like when people go fishing and catch a big fish, they come home and say it was THISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS big. At the end of the film it shows that the story of Karl was true to an extent, he just wasn't as big as Ed Bloom made him out to be, he exaggerated. There are quite a few ways to make someone like taller/bigger and shorter/smaller in film.
