  1. F. Winning the WWE title...
  2. It's time to watch Lashley "overcome the odds".
  3. "You said you're not going to take this laying down, but your eyes tell a different story!" - John Cena They're making Orton to look like a complete fucktard tonight, even drawing a "DAMN!"
  4. Orton talks to Cena backstage, trying to talk him into forming an alliance for tonight to take out HBK and Edge.
  5. Benoit beats MVP again, woohoo. This series with Benoit is really helping MVP. That guy could be at the top a lot sooner than I ever thought possible.
  6. I can't remember the last time I've seen a new guy improve, evolve, and add new maneuvers to his moveset as quickly as MVP has been doing.
  7. That running big boot kick to the back of Benoit's head was awesome. And JBL mentions how MVP really studies tapes.
  8. Ha, Kennedy teases that he might use his MITB contract tonight after the RAW title match.
  9. Lum-kaicho, the chokeslamming, wrestling machine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEBeQ0pYLog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RseGEw0sY1w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh4DfsanLoI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmHzdsDdFVo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lw9mV-VAjIw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59BrrjDtltY Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYCmUSXAbAo
  10. Not to mention Kane as well... See No Evil 6th, $4.5 Million, final $15 mil The Marine 6th, $7.1 Million, final $18.8 mil
  11. Well, the Condemned is a complete and totally bomb at the box office. For the weekend it came in at #9 with 4 million with an average of $1,731. That's even worse than the lowest number that I predicted. Here is the complete top ten: http://boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/ 1) Disturbia 2) The Invisible 3) Next 4) Fracture 5) Blades of Glory 6) Meet the Robinsons 7) Hot Fuzz 8) Vacancy 9) The Condemned 10) Are We Done Yet?
  12. Here is a fan-cam of the entire Hogan/Wight match from the Memphis show last night, complete with commentary by the fans: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...47942&hl=en
  13. It's so weird watching this John Cena vs. Bryan Danielson match from 2003 on Velocity: With The Cat on commentary no less! EDIT: Also, here is a fan-cam of the entire Hogan/Wight match from the Memphis show last night, complete with commentary by the fans: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2...47942&hl=en
  14. Go to YouTube and just search for "joins nWo" to get lots of good shit. My God how I miss those days.
  15. God bless him. And thank God for YouTube while I'm at it, this thread is insane.
  16. I watched this episode of ECW with my cousin, and he hasn't watched a complete wrestling show since right before WM XX. He's still a fan of wrestling, sorta, but he got turned off back then after WWE blew the Invasion, nWo, Goldberg, and so on. Anyway, his thoughts on the show were pretty much what you would expect: -He liked Umaga/Lashley, but hated the DQ finish. -He hated Snitsky, and kept mentioning his acne. -He was impressed that ECW gave the main event a good bit of time. -Since he used to watch ECW on TNN, he loved seeing the originals, especially Sandman and Sabu. -He was really impressed with CM Punk and Elijah Burke, and that entire feud (I explained it all to him) and the finish to the match. -And finally, he really, really loved The Pounce, and said it's one of his favorite moves that he's seen in a good while.
  17. I'm glad you had fun. From the sound of things I think it's fair to say it was a much better show than people thought it would be, and everyone had a blast. Here is something from Frankenmullet posted on the WC board:
  18. Here is some actual footage from the show: http://www.appealtv.com/%2079_hulk_hogan_i..._the_fedexforum More from PWInsider:
  19. I said the following a few days ago: And just like I thought, The Condemned isn't doing great at all. For Friday, it came in at 8th place with only 1.3 million. There's just too many flicks out right now targeting the same audience: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?...4-27&p=.htm The following were all ahead of The Condemned on Friday: -Disturbia -The Invisible -Next -Fracture -Blades of Glory -Hot Fuzz -Vacancy
  20. Here's the full results: http://rasslinriotnews.blogspot.com/
  21. It sounds like there's some cool shit going down on the show tonight:
  22. I know many of you guys wouldn't care, but I'd be willing to bet that Hogan/Goldberg could draw as well, and it's a match that could happen without any holdups. I'm really happy for Hogan, MCW, and everyone involved with the show tonight.
  23. UPDATE: I went ahead and called the FedEx Forum box office just for the hell of it, and they told me that the building does indeed look packed, with empty seats scattered about. This is f'n great news for Hulk Hogan.
  24. I wonder what the people in the box office at the FedEx Forum would say if we called to ask how many people are there, heh.
  25. I don't know which group, but damnit, we need some indie group to somehow put together another Hogan/Warrior match. Sure, the match itself would be interesting if only because of the two names and that it would be on an indie show, but I'm more interested in the dueling Hogan/Warrior promos! EDIT: Check out this site: http://rasslinriotnews.blogspot.com/ Brian Tramel will have match by match coverage. Here is what he has to say so far:
