I wish they'd have Umaga just act totally normal and calm, and shake Cena's hand and act like a real pro. He should also be in a suit.

I hate most "contract signings". There have been a few over the years that I enjoyed, like the Hogan/Flair signing in WCW (Ted Turner himself was involved), but come on, that was an absolute huge match. It's things like that which deserve the "signing" to be televised. I mean, Cena/Umaga? Why not just book a Batista/Kennedy signing while we're at it. Do they not sign contracts for every other match anymore? Why is Cena/Umaga special enough to have it on TV? Umaga isn't even undefeated anymore, so they don't even have that to go on now. Yeah, without doing a lot of research you can't go by anything like that. For me personally though I've never known anyone who had a Nintendo system break down, and I've never known anyone who never had a PS2 break down on them. I've known a bunch of people who had the Xbox break down on them, but when I had an Xbox it was never a problem for me. Nintendo systems have never been a problem for me either. The only system I've ever had that broke down was a PS2, and I believe that happened twice.

I don't think a 360 price drop will have any affect on the Wii at all. The only way that could happen is if we start seeing Wii systems just not selling.

There's no question that the price is holding back a lot of people from buying a PS3. I just don't think Sony cares right now and they wont drop the price because of it. I'm sure that they're sitting back thinking that as soon as some more games are released, then more people will start to buy. Not sure what I think about that though, since I don't think third party games will do it, no matter how great they are. They need exclusives now, more than ever. It's going to take some damn good exclusives also, in order to get people to drop down $500-$600 for a PS3. I think that the PS3 numbers this Christmas were about the same as the 360 numbers last year. The only difference is that the 360 didn't have two brand new systems to deal with. It's going to be much more of an up hill battle for Sony for much of 2007 and into '08.

What do most of you guys think of this new heel version of AJ Styles? I never really thought he could be a great convincing heel, but there's something about this heel run that I'm really, really enjoying. As long as they don't stick him with Vince Russo again, I think this will end up doing a lot for him.

The guy who posted the above picture went back to the same store tonight, and took another picture of the very same spot: I think it's funny that since stores have PS3s in stock, sometimes a lot of em, people make light of it and laugh (like me, I admit it). However, if they didn't have any in stock, people would be complaining about Sony not shipping enough.

I doubt we'll see Sony drop the price anytime this year, or maybe the year after that. Has Sony dropped the price of the PSP, even with the DS kicking it's ass?

Yeah, Guitar Hero is huge with a ton of people. I can't go into a Walmart or video game store or any other place that has displays and not see someone playing it. People of all ages too, it's insane. But great.

They sold out everywhere and continue to do so. The problem is that they just didn't produce and ship enough.

I guess the bad news coming out of this show tonight is that they planted the first seeds of Batista/Taker at Mania. Ugh. I'm all for Taker having an important match, but damnit he better not job to Batista. I guess Umaga and Ken Kennedy is the Mark Henry/Bob Holly of this year's Royal Rumble.

I'm already looking forward to SD next week.

If only they'd take the belt off of Batista. Then it would be an even better show. Look what RAW does, then look what SD does. The ratings for one show goes down, the other goes down. Hmmm...

It's no wonder that Smackdown is just about up to the same number of viewers as RAW. What is this, three or four matches in the first hour with one of them going about 20+ minutes? Wrestling wrapped up in wrestling related storylines having to do with trying to make it to titles. Is that really so hard to book?
