Suloev will play his boring standup game and Filho will play his boring paddy cake ground game. I know they've met before in a "decent for what it was" kinda deal but after their respective performances in the first round, I'm not very hopeful. That said it's hard to beat a guy like Filho that just takes you down and "dry humps" (thanks Lei) you the entire time, like the Mark Kerr of the MW division. That's why I think someone like Henderson could drag a decent match out of Paulo like he did Arona. Kang has skills but if he fought a truly rounded fighter in his division, like Franklin and well, that's it, he would have trouble. Hopefully Ninja will get the benefit of the doubt like Bustamante did and get to come back and fight a couple of guys and build him back into a contender, I really like him and his style; I LOVE his match with Mario Sperry, almost to the point of worshipping both men as two gods on an equal pedastal for their guts and perseverence.

The final eight eps are one big season finale. It still remains to be seen whether Tony's talk with Phil has any effect on his feelings on the matter, or if that asswhipe in the doorway will stir some more shit between the crews. Little Carmine is a fucking reatrd too for bringing up Billy's death too. As for who's biting the bullet, I'd have to rule out AJ. Even guys like Phil know whacking an innocent is a big fucking no-no, and could lead to a bloodbath of epic proportions. I rule out Chris only because he's already been shot, Sylvio because he's fucking Sylvio and guys like Benny and Philly Parisi because they've become pretty minimalistic lately. I know Paulie's the popular choice but he's got cancer, so I think that he's ruled out storyline speaking. Carlo, maybe, but I gotta say I favor Bacala getting the axe, only because it's somebody close to Tony, closer family wise than Christopher even, a captain and a good earner, a fairly easy target size wise, and apart from the Paulie episode with his daughter, fairly nonconfrontation, ergo, "easy to whack." As far as I know, Bacala's the only made guy in Tony's crew who hasn't killed someone in all of the seasons. Whatever, I still see this Adrianna deal as being the potential downfall of Tony. Wouldn't surprise me if a body popped up sooner or later, I douby Syl dismembered Adrianna, he probably just buried her. Anyway, hopefully all answers will be revealed in the finales!

Assuerio Silva is far from a push over. He gave the current UFC Heavyweight Champion, Tim Sylvia all he can handle. Until Assuerio Silva beats someone better than Valentijn Overeem he'll continue to be a push over. As for what was mentioned earlier, it seems like pretty much everyone in the UFC is a prospect what with the recent influx of TUF fighters into the mix. Except for the champions, Babalu, St. Pierre, and a very few select others, the UFC doesn't seem to have very many fighters that are better than average at everything. It seems like everyone else in the UFC is just okay at standup, wrestling, and BJJ and not really world class.

I don't know; it's hard for me to say considering that most UFC fighters are pretty much the same and there are very few well rounded fighters. Probably St. Pierre, even though he has shown some of his potential already. Vera has shown me something, but until he beats somebody besides nobodies I won't get behind him.

Yes, "Only" is awesome. I like Among the Living better, but this album is probably second to that one in terms of quality.

Basically, I think that DSE told Silva to "take it easy" on Yoshida. I mean Yoshida got messed up but not nearly as messed up as he could have been. Silva seemed kind of refrained from his usual bumrush, I mean Saku was a hundred times more feared than Yoshida yet Silva went full force at him. I assume DSE didn't want a repeat of the slaughter that was Silva/Sakuraba 1.

It's true that you can use the gi as something to grab onto when trying for a choke, but it also makes escape attempts a bit tougher due to... I'm not sure what to call it, a higher friction coefficient is probably the correct scientific term. You can't just slip out because of sweat and/or grease, is what I'm getting at. Disadvantages. Well, if you're a complete novice with a gi on you could probably get it pulled over your head like a hockey sweater. And I'm pretty sure that someone with the proper knowhow would be able to use the gi against you. I think that no matter the experience, the gi can be a disadvantage... and an advantage.
