I really wouldn't expect the rest of the album to sound too similar, I'd expect most of it be along the lines of another "Magic." "The Wrestler" will be released as a bonus track on the CD, however.

UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008

Are you going to hire your own bouncers just to get into fights with them? I kid, I kid. -
Hari vs. Overeem is now confirmed by Overeem's website but not by K-1's; K-1 rules on NYE, MMA rules sometime in early 2009. Other fights that are now confirmed: Mach vs. Katsuyori Shibata (MMA) (Original rumors for this fight had Mach and Manhoef, but this should be pretty good) Yukio Sakaguchi vs. Andy Ologun (MMA) Bob Sapp vs. some pro wrestler dude (MMA)

UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008

I usually watch the PPV's at home but Saturday I believe I will head to a local drinking establishment or Hooters and watch the UFC. For those that are experienced in this sort of thing, is there any advice you could give me on when to show up, whether or not I should get reservations, etc.? Thanks -
Press conference is scheduled for tomorrow, so pretty much expect Badr/Overeem to be confirmed there.

Shit, it just happened while he was running! Any of us do that, that's what kind of freaked me out thinking that it could happen with any physical activity involving running.

I don't listen to Green Day, and the majority of bouncers at the clubs in Calgary are racist douchebags whom wont allow minorties in based on the fact they are not white, or whitewashed. Therefore they deserve to get stomped out. I remember one time me and 2 of my homies left the club one time to go smoke a joint in my friends car, and we tried to come back and this one dickhead bouncer wouldnt let us back in because we smelled like weed. So we ended up scrapping him and 2 other bouncers, and roughing them up pretty bad. One of them got a good punch in on me, but I don't have a glass jaw and I headbutted him. That doesn't sound unreasonable...and you seem to be the one to come off like the asshole here Dude, it's EHME. Whenever he tells these stories, I get a mental image of Russell Crowe in that one episode of South Park. -
The latest Dynamite match rumor making the rounds is: Alistair Overeem vs...... Badr Hari! According to Mat Magazine that is, which is a pretty reputable source. Additionally, it is rumored that the rounds will alternate between K-1 and MMA rules, for those that remember the Jerome Le Banner/Bob Sapp match from a few years ago. That I don't like, I'd prefer to just see them in a K-1 rules fight.

I think you meant to say Mo "beating" him, Schilt KO'd him with a knee in the GP a couple years ago; Cro Cop is the only guy that has knocked him down with punches to the head. Errol Parris KO'd him with a body shot many many moons ago on a small K-1 card at the beginning of Remy's career. Remy has never been KO'd with a punch to the head, which is pretty remarkable considering how many times he has fought and the amount of good boxers he has faced (Jerome, Mirko, Sefo, Leko, Mike McDonald).

I know a couple of guys backstage who said he was still dizzy and had blurred vision from the stomp. Sure, he may have milked it a little, but not as much as a lot of people are accusing him of. A stomp to the face is a stomp to the face. This is also the same guy who was kicked in the nuts not once, but twice, and still came back to KO Leko, so I might think twice before I call him a bitch. Remy is a true rep of the sport and one of the nicest guys in all of fighting, so try and cut him a little slack.

Other announced fights (confirmed): Schilt vs. Mighty Mo (MMA) Tokoro vs. Daisuke Nakamura Sato vs. Kyschenko (K-1) Le Banner vs. Mark Hunt (MMA) Aoki vs. Alvarez Kozo Takeda vs. Kawajiri (K-1) Musashi vs. Gegard Mousasi (K-1) Sakuraba vs. Tamura Hansen vs. J.Z. As mentioned above, Cro Cop/CHM and Overeem/Kharitonov are also almost certain to be announced in the coming days.

Good for him, but even if he beat Fedor with one hand tied around his balls he'll probably never sniff another UFC card again. -
Well, I'm still pissed about Alabama losing, but this will have to do, I guess.

K-1 Grand Prix Finals is on tonight. Anybody gonna stay up and catch it? I'm looking forward to this one more than any GP since '02 with Sapp and Hoost; lots of interesting match ups and a good mix of vets and fresh blood. Really, really looking forward to the Aerts/Hari showdown.

So mycomputercareer.com; is it worth it?
AboveAverage484 replied to AboveAverage484's topic in General Chat
I contacted someone from the historical archives and they said there was a "job freeze" currently in place. She told me to watch the government website for job opportunities, but most of what I have seen are for janitors or positions that I'm not qualified for. I guess I should also mention I decided to not go through with the IT classes, since I'm already paying off school bills from the last time I went back to school and quit. Decided I wasn't gonna take a chance on flaking out again, especially considering I work full time now. -

I thought he was suspicious before he even made the weight jump. -
As long as he beat the kick off for those games then it's cool with me.

I have a history degree, that would help as far as government jobs go, right? Doesn't hurt that I live in my state's capital either, I guess. -
Founders Breakfast Stout This beer OWNS your soul! Double chocolate, coffee, oatmeal stout!

Bam Bam Bigelow had all these fools beat by about ten years.

I forgot about that prelim BL, that was the best fight of the night! Everyone had already cleared out by that point and there was only five of us watching two dudes beat the crap out of each other. Riley is fun to watch because although he is considered a brawler, he usually mixes his strikes up well and has good cardio. Jorge's game plan was crap; I understand catering to the fans, but sometimes you just have to look out for yourself, especially in a career where it's here today, gone tomorrow. Just ask Werdum. And the Popeye Punch!, my goodness!

Wow, lots of Brock fans here. Everybody at the house I was at (around a dozen people) were cheering for Randy, as well as the crowd in Vegas. Props to Brock for winning, but he will have his hands full with his next opponent. One has already beaten him, while the other is about as terrible a styles match up as you can get for Brock. Nog's taken shots from the hardest hitters in MMA and his entire game plan involves getting taken down and subbing his opponent. I have to say Florian won me over last night, but really I guess I've always liked him except for his lame nick name.

Added Chris Lytle vs. Paul Taylor from UFC 89.

So you're wanting them converted into avi files or something similar? If so, I usually use WinAvi. It's not free, but not totally unreasonable, 29.95 or something. It can change DVD files to avi, mpg, wmv and vice versa.

DVD Shrink is the beginning and the end of this thread. It's free and simple to use. If you have any other questions about it, feel free to ask
