Why don't they just release it unrated?

It wasn't worked, Pancrase matches really weren't worked per se, but sometimes fighters like Funaki, Suzuki, and Shamrock were asked to "take it easy" on their opponents, i.e. make them look better than they were. In early Pancrase, there was a big disparity in the talent level. You had Funaki, the Shamrocks, Bas, and Minoru Suzuki at the top, and they pretty much ruled the roost, with guys like Manabu Yamada and Mo Smith sometimes gettin' in on the action, but those first fighters were usually the cream of the crop.

Yeah, my 2003 list is kinda messed up, I need to work some more on it.

None of you can match the hell of driving TO Charlotte, NC. Once you get in it's not that bad but I believe until about a year ago it was the only large city in America with two lane interstates going through the city. TWO LANES!!!!

I thought their first match from UFC 34 was better.
-
Kind of like Sakuraba hasn't had an impressive win in years, yet would you call him a can?
-
I did. Are you saying he wasn't expected to lose against Sapp? No, but still referring to Tamura as a can, especially looking at his performances against top 10 opponents in the past, is a bit of an insult to Tamura as a fighter. Lei, IIRC Arona took Fedor down like 3 or 4 times in their fight, am I remembering this right?
-
But he didn't have to fight.. Now they're getting pretty much to the point where you have to fight. The athletic commission even places victorious fighters on probation for at least a month sometimes. I can't see them letting Forrest fight in less than a month.
-
I'm missing something here. Who said Tamura was a can?

Shows you won't admit to your friends you like

I pretty much figure everyone who likes "Full House" doesn't admit to it. Hell, I catch it when it comes every once in a while. -
No I was sayin' sour grapes because Duke won the conference tournament and we lost in the semifinals. I'm a big Carolina fan actually, I wasn't taking any shots at you, lol.
-
Ummmm Look at the big Picture here. It's March 13th (Selection Sunday for those not paying attention.), it's a Conference Final. It's a big conference final. One of your teams in said final could get a 1 seed if they win. Gee if I was Duke, I wouldn't want any questions as to whether you would've won the game or not off a Bullshit Mickey Mouse Foul that Dick Vitale's Boyfriend initiated by touching the other guy's Jersey. Here, again, lets break down what may just happen. Duke may get a 1 seed, but remember, this shit is all done on a line system. If Duke sneaks into a 1 seed someone else has to fall down, and it may cause a really shitty domino effect for the top 16 Teams. That means a deserving team can, and may get screwed and get a seed that is acutally beneath them (and I bet is a Big East team that gets screwed), and draw a really shitty opponent. All because JJ Redick wanted to do something really shitty and got away with it. Think about it. If I played college ball and that little bastard set a pick on me I would try my damndest to put his bitch ass THROUGH the fuckin' floor. Maybe that's just sour grapes cuz UNC lost the other day

I use Party Poker, of course no matter what you use there will always be mutherfuckers goin all in on every hand. If you have 50 dollars, I'd recommend playing for real money.
-
Yeah, but the fact that a VERY important game was decided by a bullshit call is just that, bullshit.
-
Are you referring to the phantom foul call on Jack? It actually looked like Redick pushed off before the inbounds pass, little fucker.
-
I know I got two right, but it says they're wrong. My confidence has just been shattered.

Is the Vladdy/Wiuff fight on the DVD? If so you can buy the DVD to see it. I know Tanner used to fight in Pancrase, I don't know anything about him fighting there now. -

He just sounded like a thug in the interview after the Doerkson fight. I hope Ivan kicks his ass. I'm in agreement with Tong on Murilo, if he can't finish Ryuta I think it's time to hang 'em up. -
I agree about the shittiness of the comedians on VH1's shows. I mean damn, give me five minutes and I can come up with something better than the "comedy" they spout on shows such as "Best Week Ever."

I don't really like Riggs that much. Or Stiebling for that matter. I loved it when Anderson shut Stiebling up at Pride 21, Brazilian Killa my ass. -
I about shit a brick listening to Carolina/Clemson on my car radio. They might have a little troule with the winner of the two Techs after only winning by a cunt hair over Clemson. Then again, they could blow them out like they did in the regular season.

I've made some changes to my MW GP, based on recent news and rumors: Silva vs. Yoshida (even though it's becoming more and more likely that bc of injuries Yosh will not fight him) Sakuraba vs. Horn (it's pretty much confirmed that Tamura will NOT be in the GP, Sakuraba claims to not want to be in the GP if Tamura isn't, but his warrior spirit will dash that claim. I've heard rumblings about Horn being all but confirmed for the GP, this would be a good match for Saku) Kondo vs. Overeem Rogerio Nogueira vs. Hendo Vovchanchyn vs. Randleman (With another BTT member involved in the Bushido mini tourney it looks like no Arona for the GP, I can't see three BTT members in the tourney. It has been mentioned that Randleman is dropping back down to LHW, a match against Vovchanchyn would be a good first round matchup.) Nakamura vs. Ryan Shogun vs. Rampage Filho vs. Takimoto (I recently read that Yokoi is pretty much out of the GP for losing at Pride 29, I'm considering switching Yoshida and Takimoto, that way Yoshida could fight more of a grappler in his own style, and Silva, being defending champ, would have an easier first round opponent. Obviously I see Filho winning the Bushido tourney, but any one of those fighters could win it in reality.) 100% CONFIRMED (as of today) Sakuraba Silva Yoshida Kondo Rogerio Nogueira Vovchanchyn Nakamura Shogun Winner of Bushido tourney MORE THAN LIKELY IN THE GP, BUT YET TO BE ANNOUNCED: Rampage Henderson Overeem WAITING FOR DEFINITE CONFIRMATION Horn Randleman QUESTION MARKS/SPECULATION ON MY PART Ryan Takimoto
