Back to personal stories of bench clearing brawls for a moment; when I was in high school there was a home game and one of our players swung a haymaker at an opposing player. It didn't connect but his momentum carried him onto the player and they both tumbled to the floor. Meanwhile, the crowd is going crazy, and these thugs from the crowd start coming out onto the court and talking shit with people from the other side and some of these guys are probably packing heat, no shit. It was fun and scary at the same time. The game continued, with all the action apparently coming outside the school with the cops and some thugs. It could have been worse than it was.
