  1. I'm not believing anything until I see Frank standing in the cage and McCarthy asks him "Are you ready?"
  2. http://207.44.200.49/misc/deep2/deep2_caras_vs_watanabe.zip Here's the vid, it's just as gruesome as I remember.
  3. I've been listening to this a lot. Same with Dillinger Escape Plan's Calculating Infinity and Irony is a dead Scene. I don't think Refused fits into the same category, but I've enjoyed that as well. Not totally related, but have you heard much Mr. Bungle? Woah, Mr. Bungle's pretty fucked up. Didn't Mike piss in his shoe and then drink it?
  4. True.
  5. From the man himself: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs04/n...tory?id=1977199 Looks like the thread title is a moot point now.
  6. Definitely not. That's one of my top four favorite songs by him.
  7. For the record, Hendo was 11th.
  8. Well consider it just the top 10 then, and I used fighters that appear regularly on the big Pride shows. I also looked at their non-Pride performances, which is why Kondo is top 10, he's been way more active lately than Dan. I love Dan, but I was looking at his record yesterday, and I think he has more bs decision wins than anyone in MMA history. He has one of the biggest hearts ever, and he's tough as nails, only having been submitted once. In the UFC against Carlos Newton, could have gone either way. His fights in RINGS against Kanehara, Nogueira, and Babalu could have gone either way. There was nothing that indicated that Henderson deserved to win any of those fights ouright. He holds controversial victories over Ninja, Busta, Nakamura (injury), and Kondo in Pride. Hendo is good, maybe even great, but he hasn't done enough in Pride lately to warrant being top 10. Kondo's victory over Sperry was more impressive than any victory credited to Hendo in three years, and if you wanna pull the "well Hendo beat Kondo", I might also point out that Randleman beat Cro Cop in even more decisive fashion, yet no one's clamoring for him to be top 10 in anything. (except worse sub defense )
  9. I threw that together in like 5 minutes, sue me.
  10. I've got "Rosalita" on my second CD.
  11. Sorry for the three threads in a row in a relatively short time, but the Pride 29 card has been UPDATED! New official matches, credit once again to Shooto Panama from sherdog.com:
  12. Remember when Smackdown! was good and Raw was shit? About the time SD started going down the crapper was when I switched to MMA over wrestling.
  13. I haven't been following the war all that intently, but it seems we've had more accident related deaths (crashes, friendly fire) than actual combat deaths.
  14. It's Duke what the hell do you expect?
  15. I don't know why but that made laugh, maybe because I was thinking the same thing.
  16. Otherwise known as Rolling Stone Magazine. According to them, music hasn't existed since Nirvana. You mean the magazine that gives three-and-a-half stars to almost every album they review? Actually they gave some pretty blah ratings in the past to albums that are now considered classics, only they have rewritten the reviews in more recent issues to relfect the change in opinion.
  17. Just started really getting into his deeper album stuff and wow, he was a great songwriter and his songs have a very dramatic feel to them. I recently made a CD, which mixes album tracks and hits together: 1. Thunder Road 2. Backstreets 3. Born to Run 4. Jungleland 5. Badlands 6. Racing in the Street 7. Prove It All Night 8. Hungry Heart 9. The River 10. Born in the U.S.A. 11. I'm on Fire 12. Glory Days 13. Dancing in the Dark 14. My Hometown 15. Brilliant Disguise 16. Streets of Philadelphia
  18. I thought Kerr had gotten back with Dawn, and they're now expecting a child, IIRC.
  19. "Old Vitor" was a heavyweight so unless he plans on beefing up we won't be seeing that version of him anytime soon. Just for the hell of it, here's my Pride top 10, pound for pound: 10. Yuki Kondo 9. Sergei Kharitonov 8. Aleksander Emelianenko 7. Ricardo Arona 6. Mark Hunt 5. Mirko Filipovic 4. Quinton Jackson 3. Wanderlei Silva 2. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira 1. Fedor Emelianenko
  20. VERY tentative match list for Pride 29, from Shooto Panama from Sherdog.com, who is generally very credible.
  21. How do you upload pics, it won't let me post the link.
  22. Not MMA, but still a very nice picture using one of my favorite moves, the axe kick.
  23. If anyone else posted this, they'd be getting called a queer.
  24. All right, Inc brought back the "pissed off little girl" sig again. All is right with the world.

    The Misfits!

If he was a gimmick poster, don't you think his name would be something like Danzig4Life, or GlennRulz!@#!@ Or he could just combine it all to make DanzigRulz4life, right? I've seen a lot of the posts he's made so far, and assumed he was a gimmick poster or troll for a while. That being said...uh, yeah, The Misfits are very good, and have had more than enough exposure. I don't believe they've been overlooked for bands like Rancid, I believe their influence has been more than documented. You know I was gonna make a joke like that, but I avoided it, haha.
