Here's the NFC: Atlanta (Kingofthe909) 12-3 - #1 seed Detroit (bravesfan/Fokai) 10-5 - Clinched playoff berth, 1-game lead in NFC North. Minnesota has a better division record. Philadelphia (HarleyQuinn) 8-6-1 - NFC East champions Seattle (chazz1998) 7-8 - tied with Arizona, but has a better record in common games. If Arizona wins tommorrow, those records would be tied, and Arizona has a better conference record, thus they would win the division. If San Francisco wins and Seattle and Arizona both lose, San Francisco would win the division due to a better common games record than Arizona and a better conference record than Seattle. 10-5 Detroit (bravesfan/Fokai) wins the NFC North with: 1. A win or tie. 2. A loss or tie by MIN. 9-6 Minnesota (Danville_Wrestling) wins the NFC North with: 1. A win + a loss by DET. ---clinches a playoff berth with: 1. A win or tie. 2. A loss by TB. 3. A loss or tie by GB. Tampa Bay (starvenger) is in with: 1. A win or tie. 2. A loss or tie by GB. 8-7 Green Bay (Vitamin X) is in with: 1. A win + a MIN or TB loss.

After a long (long) time breaking this down, here's the playoff picture I've come up with. Cleveland (sfaJack) 11-4 - #1 seed Jacksonville (AlwaysPissedOff) 10-5 - #2 seed Buffalo (bob_barron) 9-6 - AFC East champions Kansas City (Alfdogg) 8-6-1 - half-game lead in AFC West. 8-6-1 Kansas City (Alfdogg) wins the AFC West with: 1. A win. 2. A tie + a loss or tie by OAK. 3. A loss by OAK and a loss or tie by DEN. ---clinches a playoff berth with: 1. A win or tie. 2. (3 of the following) A loss by OAK and losses or ties by DEN, IND, and TEN. 8-7 Oakland (Smues) wins the AFC West with: 1. A win + a loss or tie by KC. 2. A tie + a loss by KC and a loss or tie by DEN. ---clinches a playoff berth with: 1. A win. 2. A tie + losses or ties by two of DEN, IND, and TEN. 3. Losses by DEN and IND + loss or tie by HOU. Denver (CanadianChris) wins the AFC West with: 1. A win + a loss by KC and a loss or tie by OAK. ---clinches a playoff berth with: 1. A win. 2. A tie + losses or ties by two of OAK, IND, and TEN. (If Denver loses, Oakland owns tiebreaker on them, plus someone from the TEN/NE game would get in with a better record.) Indianapolis (Prime Time Andrew Doyle) is in with: 1. A win + a loss or tie by OAK or DEN. 2. A tie + a loss by OAK or DEN + a TEN/NE tie. 3. A tie + losses by OAK and DEN. Tennessee (Cuban_Linx) is in with: 1. A win + losses or ties by two of OAK, DEN and IND. 2. A tie + losses by two of OAK, DEN, and IND. 7-7-1 New England (nl5xsk1) is in with: 1. A win + a loss by OAK or DEN + a loss or tie by IND. 2. A win + losses by OAK and DEN. 7-8 Houston (Bored) is in with: 1. A win + losses by OAK, DEN, and IND + a loss or tie by NE. (The Jets are eliminated, because Denver owns tiebreaker on them, and someone from the TEN/NE game will end up ahead of them, as mentioned before.)

Depending on what happens with Chris and teke, I think I can get the division next week with a win or a Smues loss.
-
omg, I won!!! First time in 6 weeks!
-
So after yesterday, we now have: Paul Pierce: out 2-3 weeks with stress fracture in foot Carmelo Anthony: out 13 more games due to suspension Yao Ming: out at least 6 weeks with broken bone in leg Lamar Odom: out at least a couple more weeks with sprained knee Shaquille O'Neal: still out due to surgery, no clue when he'll be back Nenad Krstic: out for season with torn ACL Peja Stojakovic/David West: out for presumably most of the season with surgery Rashard Lewis: out at least 2 months due to surgery on his hand Chris Bosh: out due to knee injury At this rate, we'll end up with Justin Timberlake and Master P starting in the All-Star game.

Netslob has now been banned from TSM, WDI, and the Pit. I think that's a first. Give yourself a hand!

Krstic is done for the year with a torn ACL.
-
Yeah, that's definitely just sour grapes on Kobe's part. Even Bill Walton railed on him tonight for saying that, I thought that was funny.
-
Don't forget D'Antoni walking right onto the court and complaining after every score by the Wizards. I should point out that I don't hate the Suns in general, but they can really get whiny at times, tonight being one of those instances.

http://n-c-systems.com/hoops/DraftTrades/2007.html As of right now, here are the scenarios for the '07 draft. Order is according to team records entering tonight. Round 1 1. Philadelphia (If Philadelphia makes the playoffs, this pick goes to Golden State, through Atlanta and Dallas. The Hawks acquired the pick in the 4-team trade involving Glenn Robinson, Latrell Sprewell and Keith Van Horn. Dallas acquired the pick in the Walker/Terry deal, and Golden State acquired it via the Dampier trade. I'll go out on a limb and say that the Sixers keep this pick.) 2. Memphis 3. Charlotte 4. Seattle 5. Atlanta (If this pick is not in the top 3, it goes to Phoenix to complete the Joe Johnson trade.) 6. New York (If this pick is from #1-#24, Chicago has the right to swap as part of the Eddy Curry trade. If the pick is from #25-#30, it goes to Utah, via Phoenix. Phoenix acquired the pick in the Stephon Marbury trade, and sent it to Utah in a trade involving Keon Clark and Tom Gugliotta.) 7. Boston 8. LA Clippers 9. NO/OK 10. Toronto (If this pick is not in the top 15, it goes to Charlotte, via Cleveland. Cleveland acquired the pick in exchange for Lamond Murray, and Charlotte got the pick in exchange for Sasha Pavlovic.) 11. Sacramento 12. Miami 13. New Jersey 14. Miami 15. Minnesota (If this pick is not in the top 10, it goes to the Clippers to complete the Sam Cassell trade.) 16. Portland 17. Golden State 18. Washington 19. Indiana (If this pick is not in the top 10, it goes to Atlanta to complete the Al Harrington trade.) 20. Cleveland (If this pick is not in the top 10, it goes to Phoenix, via Boston. Boston acquired the pick in exchange for Jiri Welsch, and Phoenix acquired it in a trade for Brian Grant.) 21. Chicago (This pick would go to the Knicks in the scenario mentioned above.) 22. Houston 23. Denver (This pick goes to Philadelphia as part of the Allen Iverson trade, unless it's the #1 overall pick.) 24. Orlando (If this pick is not in the top 5, it goes to Detroit to complete the Darko Milicic trade.) 25. Detroit 26. LA Lakers 27. Dallas (If this pick is not in the top 7, it goes to Philadelphia, via Golden State and Denver. The Warriors got the pick as part of the aforementioned Dampier trade, Denver got the pick in a trade involving Nikoloz Tskitishvili and Eduardo Najera, and Philadelphia got it in the Iverson trade.) 28. Utah 29. Phoenix 30. San Antonio Round 2 31. Philadelphia (This pick goes to Minnesota as a result of a trade for Bobby Jones. I don't know him, either.) 32. Memphis (This pick goes to Seattle as a result of a trade for Lawrence Roberts. Ditto above.) 33. Charlotte (If this pick is from #31-#55, it goes to the Lakers in a trade for Jumaine Jones. If it is from #56-#60, it goes to Phoenix in a trade for Jake Voskuhl.) 34. Seattle 35. Atlanta 36. New York (This pick goes to Philadelphia, via Chicago. Chicago got it via the Curry trade, and Philadelphia got it in the Sefolosha/Rodney Carney swap.) 37. Boston (If this pick comes later than Golden State's second round pick, it goes to Chicago, via Denver. This will be explained on #47.) 38. LA Clippers 39. NO/OK 40. Toronto 41. Sacramento (This pick goes to Orlando, via Utah. Utah got the pick in a trade involving Keon Clark, and Orlando got it in the Giricek/DeShawn Stevenson swap.) 42. Miami (This pick goes to Minnesota, via Boston. Boston got it in the trade that landed Walker & Jason Williams in Miami, and Minnesota got it in the trade involving Szczerbiak & Ricky Davis.) 43. New Jersey (This pick goes to Golden State in a trade for Cliff Robinson.) 44. Milwuakee (If this pick comes before Houston's second-round pick, it goes to San Antonio. This will be explained on #52.) 45. Minnesota (This pick goes to Golden State in a trade involving Marc Jackson & Dean Garrett.) 46. Portland 47. Golden State (If this pick comes later than Boston's second round pick, it goes to Chicago, via Phoenix, Boston, and Denver. Phoenix acquired the pick in a trade for Zarko Cabarkapa, Boston acquired it in a trade for Walter McCarty, Denver got it in exchange for Leon Powe, and Chicago got it in the J.R. Smith deal.) 48. Washington 49. Indiana (This pick goes to Portland in a trade involving James White and Alexander Johnson. I should point out that the Pacers made this trade, and then James White didn't even make the goddamn team. So the Blazers basically got three second-round picks free of charge (they get our 2008 second-rounder, as well.)) 50. Cleveland (This pick goes to Orlando in the Drew Gooden trade.) 51. Chicago (If this pick is from #31-#51, it goes to Portland in the Thomas/Aldridge swap. If not, the Blazers get it next year.) 52. Houston (If this pick comes before Milwaukee's second-round pick, it goes to San Antonio, via Milwaukee. Milwaukee acquired the pick in a trade involving Mike James & Reece Gaines, and the Spurs got in in exchange for Damir Markota. Otherwise, Milwaukee keeps the pick.) 53. Denver (This pick goes to Chicago. See #47.) 54. Orlando 55. Detroit 56. LA Lakers (This pick goes to Dallas in exchange for J.R. Pinnock.) 57. Dallas 58. Utah 59. Phoenix 60. San Antonio

omg, we beat the Hawks!
-
Remember, Gilbert promised 100 points in 2 games against the Suns.
-
Alf is destined to be a permanent B-team member But he's da WDW champ! Undefeated for 2 years!
-
I'll jump in with the "just stay away" crowd. You've got your title, you're in the Hall of Fame, and you're not going anywhere with the Sixers. Just quit already. And yes, I'm aware that it doesn't say anything about him coaching, but, just like with Pat Riley, you know it'll come to that eventually.
-
Oh yeah. I went into BW3's after work, and they had written up on the board "NBA: Pacers vs Flyers."
-
ESPN showed Michael Jordan sitting in the crowd after that Lee shot, surrounded by taunting Knick fans. I think Ahmad Rashad was sitting with him.
-
So, the Denver/Phoenix game was postponed due to a blizzard. How convenient. Presumably, though, that pushes back the returns of Carmelo and Smith one more game, depending on when they reschedule the game for.
-
I was hoping to catch the LAL/CHI game on WGN, but no luck. What exactly are the rules or whatever on this? I know games that are on ESPN or TNT aren't shown locally, is it the same for NBATV, as well?

KC - 27 Minnesota at Green Bay (3.5) (6.5) Kansas City at Oakland Baltimore at Pittsburgh (3.5) Carolina at Atlanta (6.5) (4.5) Chicago at Detroit (9.5) Indianapolis at Houston New England at Jacksonville (2.5) New Orleans at N.Y. Giants (3.5) Tampa Bay at Cleveland (3.5) Tennessee at Buffalo (4.5) Washington at St. Louis (2.5) Arizona at San Francisco (4.5) Cincinnati at Denver (3.5) (4.5) San Diego at Seattle Philadelphia at Dallas (7.5) N.Y. Jets at Miami (2.5) Man, I'm gonna get crushed this week.
-
I think he's like 18 or 19.
-
I think they're still a one-and-done. Judging by the way Phoenix is playing right now, the Nuggets would be lucky to win even one game against them. I don't see them beating the Spurs or Mavs, either, and don't see them getting higher than 6th in the West, which would match them with one of those teams.

I don't wrap my Christmas presents, I just keep them in my closet and hand them out that morning. Is that good enough?
