How many times do people in the orginizations have to say JO/Marion/Gordon aren't getting traded before people accept it. I mean, there's nothing wrong with speculating, but geez. As far as the mock draft goes, I never watch college basketball except for the tournament, but I'd be willing to give it a shot. I'd just have to go by ESPN's info. I'm assuming we'd all choose our favorite team and we'd just pick for those teams?

I have to admit that I miss Walton and Tolbert together on commentary. I haven't heard them do a game together in a while. I watched the clincher of the '03 Finals during the ESPNC marathon a couple weeks back, and they're a lot better together than that one black guy who usually is with Walton now. ("Snapper" Jones?) *cut to champagne bottles in the locker room* Walton: What is that? Tolbert: Cider, Bill. Hot apple cider.

Reject stalks Alf in a corner as the third fall begins. *DING DING DING* Reject pounces immediately, stomping away at Alf in the corner. Reject then drags Alf out of the corner and into the middle of the ring, backing up and hitting a nice dropkick! COLE Great dropkick by Reject, as he maintains control into the third and deciding fall! Alf rolls to the outside of the ring, and Reject follows. Reject delivers a couple stomps, then grabs Alf and whips him into the steel steps! Reject then rolls back into the ring and plays to the crowd, drawing boos. COACH He's got it under control, doesn't he? COLE Indeed he does! COACH If this keeps up, you're looking at the new champion of the world, right there! Alf slowly rolls back into the ring, and Reject picks him up and drags him into the corner, delivering a CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!! Reject lifts Alf's head up, then delivers a second CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!! Alf sinks to the mat, and Reject delivers forearms to the back of the head. Reject picks up Alf and whips him into the ropes, delivering a TILT-A-WHIRL backbreaker! COLE What a backbreaker! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! Reject gets to his feet, and delivers a big kick to the ribs of Alf! Reject with a second kick, and Alf rolls to the outside once again. Reject again follows, and delivers a CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!! Alf sinks to the floor again, and Reject rolls back into the ring. Reject stands in a corner, waiting on Alf. The referee gets dangerously close to a 10-count, so Reject breaks up the count as Alf climbs onto the apron again. This time, Reject delivers a big dropkick, sending Alf off of the apron...and THROUGH THE ANNOUNCERS' TABLE~!!! COACH OH SHIT, SON! COLE Alf nearly landing right on top of us, and he's out of it! COACH Just bring him back in, Reject, and you've got it! Reject rolls to the outside and grabs Alf by the hair, tossing him back into the ring. Reject picks up Alf, and delivers a gutwrench suplex, then covers... 1... 2... NO! Alf gets a shoulder up! COLE But Alf still hanging in there! Reject questions the referee's count, then goes to the top rope. Reject waits patiently on Alf to get to his feet, then comes off with a MISSILE DROPKICK~! Cover... 1... 2... NO! Alf is too close to the ropes, and gets a foot out! Reject grabs the leg off... 1... 2... Kickout! Reject hooks both legs tight... 1... 2... Kickout! Reject quickly picks Alf up and tosses him into the corner, delivering a CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!!!! Reject then whips Alf across the ring hard, and on the rebound, catches Alf with a HURRICANRANA~! 1... 2... NO! Alf gets a shoulder up! COACH Oh my GOD, I thought he had him! Reject kneels on the mat for a second, then goes to the top once again. Reject comes off the top, but Alf gets a foot up! Reject falls to the mat, and the referee begins his count... ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!! FOUR!!! FIVE!!! SIX!!! SEVEN!!! EIGHT!!! Both men slowly get to their feet. COACH Where do these guys get the strength, Cole? Alf gets up into a corner, and Reject charges with a spinning wheel kick, but Alf ducks, and Reject gets hung up in the TREE OF WOE~! COACH Oh, no! COLE And Reject is all tied up, with no place to go! Alf delivers kicks to the midsection, then unties Reject, drags him to the center of the ring, and locks him in the figure-four! COLE Figure-four locked in by Alf! COACH Hang on, Reject! Reject screams in pain as he tries to reach the ropes. He lays on his back, and the referee counts... 1... 2... Reject sits up, and makes a lunge for the ropes, but can't reach them! Reject then begins to turn the hold over! COACH All right, it looks like he's going to reverse the hold! Reject swings his arm around, giving himself momentum, and turns the hold over! COLE And Reject has turned it around! Alf hangs on for a few seconds, then rolls over himself and grabs the bottom rope! The referee unties the hold, and Alf gets to his feet and delivers a BELLY-TO-BELLY~! COACH Oh, no! COLE Alf's getting cooking! Alf follows up with a T-BONE SUPLEX~!, and covers... 1... 2... NO! Reject gets a shoulder up! Alf executes a fisherman's suplex... 1... 2... NO! Reject with another kickout! Alf goes to the top rope, and waits on Reject to get to his feet. Alf attempts a flying bodypress, but Reject ducks, and Alf presses Hebner! COLE Uh-oh... COACH Now what? Reject pulls a pair of brass knuckles out of his kneepad, and hides them as he rests on his knees and head on the mat. Alf goes over to grab Reject, and is met with an uppercut! COLE Oh, come on! Reject tucks the knucks back in, and lays on Alf, as Nick Patrick slides into the ring... 1... 2... 3!!! NO!!! Alf gets a shoulder up! Reject turns over and glares at Patrick as he gets to his feet. Patrick shows him the two-sign, and Reject gets up...flooring Patrick with the EULOGY~!!!!!11111 COLE What was that? Now we're back to no referee! Alf gets to his feet, as Reject pulls the knucks back out and takes another swing...but Alf ducks, and delivers a back suplex to Reject! Hebner revives and makes the count...and a Charles Robinson also slides in... 1 (1)... 2 (2)... 3 (3)!!! *DING DING DING* COLE What's going on now? Two three-counts??? Robinson jumps up and raises Alf's hand in the air. COACH No, wait a minute! COLE Alf retains the title! Meanwhile, Hebner retrieves the belt from the ring announcer... COLE The referee with the belt now... ...and HANDS IT TO REJECT, then raises his hand!!! COLE ...WHAT??? COACH YYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSS!!! Reject grabs the belt in both hands, and with a wide eyed look on his face, looks into it, then jumps up, hops up onto the second buckle, and raises it in the air! COLE Well, it appeared that perhaps both men's shoulders were down! Hebner motions that he saw Alf's shoulders down, and counted him out, and raises Reject's hand once again. Alf and Reject jaw at one another, as the referees continue to raise their hands. Robinson then pulls Hebner aside, and the two have a discussion. COLE The referees conferring now with Michael Buffer... BUFFER [i]Ladies and gentlemen, your attention, please. On the order of OAOAST referees Charles Robinson and Earl Hebner, we will ask that a video replay of the final sequence of the match be shown on the AngleTron![/i] COACH Why? The match is over! *the replay is shown, as Reject swings and misses at Alf, then Alf applies a back suplex. Indeed, the replay shows the shoulders of both men on the mat, with Alf being counted down by Hebner, and Reject being counted down by Robinson.* COLE Well, it was clear to me that both men's shoulders were down, as the referees talk with Michael Buffer once again... BUFFER [i]Ladies and gentleman, here is the official decision. Both men's shoulders were counted to the mat for a count of three in the deciding fall, with the score tied at 1-1. As a result, this match has been ruled...a DRAW![/i] *crowd boos the shit out of the decision.* COLE/COACH :throwup: BUFFER [i]However, being that this is an OAOAST PPV event, it is in our best interest to ensure that the show must end with a definite winner![/i] *crowd cheers* BUFFER [i]Therefore, the referees have agreed that this match will be decided by a SUDDEN DEATH fall! Reject comes off the top rope for a Frog Splash, but Alf raises the belt up, and Reject lands on it! COACH And now Alf resorting to using foreign objects! COLE Wait a minute, it was Reject using the brass knuckles in the last fall almost stealing the belt! Alf gets up, then plants Reject with the WHIPLASH~! Alf then kicks the belt out of the ring, and goes to the top, coming down with the FIVE-STAR ALF SPLASH~!!!!!11111 COLE ALF HIT IT! Hebner makes the count... 1... 2... 3!!! COACH NO!!! COLE And Alf retains in the extra period! *DING DING DING* BUFFER [i]The winner in sudden death...and STILL OAOAST Heavyweight champion of the WORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRLD...ALFDOGG!!!!![/i] COACH Damn it, Cole, this is not right, and you know it! Alf's not going to get away with this! *Coach throws his headset down, and puts his head in his hands in frustration.* COLE Well, whether it's right or not, Alf has in fact gotten away with it tonight, as he retains the World championship! Reject gives Alf a cold glare as he backs down the aisle with the belt in hand. Most of the fans are cheering for Alf, but some boos can be heard. I understand what you're saying, and I agree somewhat. I'd also argue, though, that he's far from the only coach that could have seen the potential in Jermaine O'Neal, and that I don't see the Knicks as having anyone who's as talented *and* as receptive to coaching as Jermaine O'Neal. If Eddy Curry is averaging 22, 10, and 2 blocks in two years, then we're saying something.

For those who have never watched the Battlebowl shows, the faces and heels are shown in separate locker rooms on the split-screen. An announcer and a random chick would conduct the drawings out in the arena. Last year, I think we used Mean Gene Okerlund and Maria. Random chick draws the name, announcer reads the name, name is shown exiting the locker room, possibly with accolades from his fellow faces/heels. Continue process until four wrestlers, or two teams, are drawn up. The four wrestlers then head down the aisle separately with no music. Repeat this process for all eight tag matches. The World title match will follow the tag matches, and the battle royal will end the show.

I'd guess that it was just him being in a Laker jersey when he did it. I probably wouldn't have that mindset, but I'm sure there's a lot of Kings fans who feel that way. If Dale Davis got a ring with the Pistons, I'd just wish that we could have won it for him, but I'd still be happy for him. Also, I'm really not trying to kiss his ass, but Mourning was by no means just along for the ride. The Heat don't make the Finals without Mourning. Payton was expendable.

Someone find me just *one* advantage that the '04 Pacers that narrowly missed the Finals under Carlisle had over the '03 Pacers that lost in the first round under Isiah Thomas. ...oh wait, you can't. via this site The 1996 pick was Todd Fuller. The 1998 pick was Vince Carter, who wound up in Toronto as was mentioned. Those two picks were involved in both deals. The Wizards got the 1996 pick from Orlando in a deal invovling Scott Skiles. How they got the '98 pick, I'm not sure. The 2000 pick that went from GS to Orlando was Mike Miller. The 2000 pick that went from Washington to GS was sent to Chicago in a three-way deal, which sent Toni Kukoc to Philadelphia, and Larry Hughes and Billy Owens to GS. The Bulls also got John Starks and Bruce Bowen. The pick ended up being Chris Mihm, who was then sent to Cleveland for the rights to Jamal Crawford. I can't believe Haskin had a win share. He played what, 15 games in his career?

I appears I didn't take the time to pay attention to the face/heel ratio when compiling the field...so I counted the list, and the original list included 23 heels and 9 faces. I've made a few changes (pending approval), and I've got it to 20/12. Obviously, I'd like to get this evened out a little more.

Alf and TK both climb to the second rope, and lay in punches, as the crowd counts along! 1!!! 2!!! 3!!! 4!!! 5!!! 6!!! 7!!! 8!!! 9!!! 10!!! Alf and Reject then jump down, and set up an Irish whip of their own. TK gets to his feet, and tosses Reject into the ring. Reject begs off into the corner. COACH Why didn't he go after PRL? He's not [i]scared[/i] of PRL, is he? COLE Don't be stupid, Coach! Reject was just the first guy he saw! COACH Uh-huh. Reject goes to the eyes of TK, then turns him around in the corner, and lays in a CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! Reject with another CHOP~! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! And a third! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! However, TK gets a burst of energy, and twists Reject around, laying in a CHOP~! of his own! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! And another! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! And a third! Crowd: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!!! Reject staggers out of the corner, and TK goes for an Irish whip. Reject reverses, but TK ducks a clothesline and delivers one of his own! COLE Great resiliency by TK, absorbing those chops and coming back with a big clothesline! TK picks up Reject, and delivers a vertical suplex, then tags in Alf! COLE Tag made, and here comes the champ. TK wrenches the arm of Reject, and Alf comes off the top with a double axhandle! Alf then grabs the arm and armdrags Reject to the mat, applying an armbar. Alf turns it to a wristlock, then drops a knee to the shoulder joint, followed by a second. Alf then picks Reject up by the wrist, and delivers a snap suplex! Cover... 1... 2... Kickout! COLE First cover of the match for two, and Reject not looking anything like a #1 contender right now! COACH It's early, Cole! Just wait! Alf drags Reject to the corner and tags TK back in. Alf holds Reject in a full nelson, as TK comes off the top with a big chop right between the eyes! TK then drops a knee to the sternum, and covers... 1... 2... Kickout! TK picks up Reject, and gives him a big bodyslam, then tags Alf in once again. Alf grabs Reject's right leg, and TK grabs his left. COLE Time to make a wish! Alf and TK jerk on the legs, leaving Reject on the mat in pain! PRL jumps into the ring, and gets met with a double hiptoss! PRL's feet land right across from Reject's, and Alf and TK look at each other and grab a leg on each man. COLE And now we're gonna go on a little boat ride! Alf and TK drop to the mat and ROW THE BOAT~! as the crowd goes crazy! After six rows, they release the hold, and the referee ushers PRL and TK out of the ring. Alf drops a snap legdrop on Reject, then goes to the ropes...but PRL lays a knee right into the back! The referee turns around, and sees Alf on the mat, then approaches PRL, who raises his arms in the air and claims his innocence. COLE And PRL LYING to the official, saying he did nothing, but we saw what happened there, Coach! COACH Of course he's gonna! What do you expect him to say, he did it? Reject rolls to a neutral corner to gain his senses, then runs across the ring and drives an elbow to the back of Alf's head. He stomps away on the ropes, then tags in PRL. COLE That's the first tag of the match on the PRL/Reject side! Let's see if they can get some continuity going. PRL stomps Alf some more by the ropes, then leans down and drives his knee into Alf's face while grabbing the ropes. The referee counts, and PRL breaks at four. COLE PRL's gotta be careful here not to get disqualified! PRL picks Alf up, and sets up a vertical suplex. COACH Here we go, baby! COLE Could be the Corporate Trifecta coming up here! PRL lifts Alf, and delivers a vertical suplex! PRL lays for a second, then rolls over and stands up, lifting Alf again for a second suplex! He rolls to his feet once again, lifting Alf for a third suplex, this time leaving him suspended in the air as he does the "You Can't See Me!" hand gesture, then walks to the ropes, and executes a slingshot suplex! PRL sits up and applauds himself, receiving a round of boos in return. COACH Don't celebrate, PR, go for that cover! PRL lays back... 1... 2... Shoulder up! COLE Arrogant cover by PRL there, and Alf able to escape! PRL picks up Alf and whips him into the ropes, catching him with a flying knee! PRL covers again... 1... 2... Kickout! COLE Well, he got down quick for that one, but Alf escapes once again! PRL turns Alf over, and applies a Camel clutch! COLE Submission hold applied by PRL! COACH We don't see PR use submissions often, so he's pulling out all the stops tonight! PRL sits back deep and cranks Alf back, and Alf struggles, but fades fast. The referee raises his arm... ONE!!! TWO!!! THR...NO! Alf JUST does hold through on the last lift! Alf then fights his way to his feet, but PRL releases and quickly rakes his eyes from behind. PRL then whips Alf into the ropes. Alf ducks a clothesline, then Alf and PRL clothesline each other! Both men are out of it, and the referee begins his count... ONE!!! TWO!!! THREE!!! FOUR!!! FIVE!!! SIX!!! SEVEN!!! Alf slowly sits up, and starts to go to his corner. PRL comes to, but opts to attempt to stop Alf instead of tagging, and is unsuccessful as Alf makes the tag to TK! COACH Oh, no! COLE And I wouldn't want to be in PRL's shoes right now! PRL begs off, but TK immediately goes in and pulls him up, then whips him into the ropes and floors him with a big AXE KICK~! TK then picks PRL up, and delivers a FALCON ARROW~! 1... 2... NO! Reject makes the save! Reject delivers a back suplex to TK, then revives PRL. PRL and Reject whip TK into the ropes, but TK ducks a double clothesline, and floors both men with one of his own! COLE And TK on fire right now! Reject rolls out of the ring, as TK whips PRL into the ropes. PRL ducks a clothesline, and catches TK with a spinning wheel kick! COACH But look at how quick my boy is to recover! PRL rolls over and tags Reject. COLE Yeah, and look at how quick he is to bail out, away from TK! COACH Hey, wait a minute! PR's been in there a long time, it was smart of him to make a tag there! Reject picks up TK and delivers a European uppercut, causing TK to stagger back into the corner. Reject follows him in, and lays in kicks to the midsection. PRL lifts TK up, then tosses TK's arm over his shoulder. He plays to the crowd, drawing boos, then drives TK to the mat with the LATIN SLAM~! PRL then heads over to the corner. COLE I think PRL should go for a cover here! PRL scales the ropes, poses on the buckles, then attempts the MAD CAPPA CRUSHER 2003~!!!111 ,,,but TK rolls out of the way! COLE Now's your chance, TK! Make the tag! TK crawls over to his corner, as PRL again attempts to stop the tag...with the same success, as Alf tags in! COLE And the champ is back in! Alf backs PRL into a corner, hammering away, then whipping him across the ring and following him in with a splash! PRL staggers out, right into a BELLY-TO-BELLY~! Alf follows up with a T-BONE SUPLEX~! Reject jumps into the ring, but Alf sends him right back outside and to the floor with a SUPERKICK~! Alf picks up PRL, and drops him with the WHIPLASH~! Alf then heads to the top rope... COLE And Alf going for the kill here! Alf leaps off with the FIVE-STAR ALF SPLASH~!!!!!11111 COLE HE HIT IT! Alf goes for the cover, but there's no referee, as he's tied up with TK and Reject, who are brawling on the floor! The referee separates TK and Reject, and ushers TK back to his corner, as Alf gets up and attempts to get the referee's attention. This allows Reject to slide into the ring with a chair, and ram the closed chair up between Alf's legs! COLE Wait a minute! Reject with a chair-assisted low blow! Reject then spins Alf around, and hits the EULOGY~!!!!!11111 COACH And the EULOGY! Reject then drags PRL on top of Alf, as TK attempts to slide in, but Reject hits him with a baseball slide! The referee slides in and makes the count... 1... 2... 3!!! He then picks TK up by the hair, and holds him that way for the Cuban Wall, who comes charging into the picture and DRILLS TK with a big boot! COLE This is uncalled for! Brains & Brawn have ambushed TK after this tag match! PRL then slides out of the ring, sets TK up...and as VX & Wall raise their arms in the air, drills TK with the CORPORATE NIGHTMARE~!!!!!11111 ON THE FLOOR~! COLE Oh, NO! COACH Oh, YES! COLE TK and Alf both laid out by their rivals, just three days before the Great Angle Bash! This is UNFUCKING CALLED FOR~!

I definitely agree, but I think the whole team was guilty of it. Terry and Howard still took it inside occasionally, but they couldn't even hit *those* shots. Howard at least made up for it by having a good night on the boards. Terry just sucked.

Not directed at Gert T or anyone in particular, just a general statement I think Dirk's really become a lot like Kobe over the last couple months, and by that I mean he's got a big fanbase who support him no matter what, and is just damned if he does, damned if he doesn't by the other side. It's not as diverse as it is with Kobe, obviously, but the happy medium has gotten a little smaller with every series.

Dirk did pass up one shot I felt he should have taken, though, and that was where he tried to pass to Dampier. No one expected him to go to Damps, unfortunately, neither did Damps himself. I thought he should have gone for the tie right there. No way in hell he passes up the one on the last play, though.
