  1. Even Kendrick Perkins is about 3x as good as the garbage Miami has in the middle right now (Haslem aside).
  2. Not to mention the awesome post prescence of... ... well, there's... ... Well, maybe they can talk Zo into coming back... Miami is not contending for anything right now, guys. Seriously. Their ceiling is about what naiwf said, a lower-playoff seed.
  3. I saw this quote on another message board.
  4. OK, I got MiB's PM and updated the front page. So let me see if this is right. Agent has 2 picks. RHR has 3 picks. Ravenbomb has 3 picks. OOG has 3 picks. bps has 4 picks. Steviekick has 3 picks. Coat has 5 picks. Cowboy #'s has 1 pick. VX has 4 picks. Right?

    2008 NBA Draft

According to ESPN, Portland has acquired the Hornets' #27 pick for cash considerations. I updated Ford's last mock to reflect this.
  6. Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (GC)
  7. So, I've been messing around with Windows Movie Maker today, and I've figured how to cut up video files for custom-made "movies", and I know how to put audio files over them, but I don't know how to cut up said audio files, to only use certain portions of a song/clip in the video. Can anyone help with this?
  8. Mutombo is probably done, too. He's been talking for a while like this was going to be his last year, but that people were trying to talk him into one more year. I'd love to seem him end up somewhere and win a ring, though, even if it is Boston.
  9. Dr. Mario totally slipped my mind. I wasn't going to pick it this round, but it would definitely have been in consideration when I did pick a puzzle game.

    2008 NBA Draft

New rumor from ESPN has Phoenix sending Barbosa and #15 to the Clippers for Maggette and #7.
  11. FYI, I did get an opponent for Thunderkid & Reject, but not for Sandman yet.
  12. Time to pick a fighter. Super Double Dragon (SNES, 1992)
  13. Then give us him instead of Rasho.
  14. Unless he's one of the guys who has been named in the performance-enhancing stuff (not saying I would hold that against him), I can't possibly see what would keep him out.
  15. I saw that on the front page of HoopsHype, and it just said "JO for Ford/Rasho", with no mention of the pick. That kind of pissed me off, until I saw that we'd be getting the pick, as well. Maybe we could finally get a taker for Jamaal Tinsley if we package that pick with him.

  17. Well, yeah. My point was, they won't be severely lacking in any areas because Tyson Chandler's not there.
  18. We can barely medal these days when we do send our pros. I'd hate to think how bad off we'd be if we sent a group of college kids. Regarding the Prince/Chandler thing, I'd definitely rather have Prince on this team. In international play, you don't really need three true centers...Howard, Bosh, and Boozer are all plenty capable of playing center in these games, and you can get away with playing LeBron and Carmelo at PF (and in fact, Carmelo is going to be the starting PF, according to Sheridan). Prince could probably even play some PF here. I can't think of anything that Chandler could give you here that Prince wouldn't.
  19. But...what's that in the cup.
  20. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES, 1995) This was a tough choice between this one and the third one. There are more secrets in the third one, but I went with this one because I like the stages better, and because I prefer Diddy's gameplay to Kiddy's. Kiddy is slow as fuck when compared to Diddy and Dixie.
  21. Generic Cheerios.
  22. Here is the expected roster for the Olympics, to be officially announced Monday, according to Chris Sheridan. Carmelo Anthony Carlos Boozer Chris Bosh Kobe Bryant Dwight Howard LeBron James Jason Kidd Chris Paul Tayshaun Prince Michael Redd Dwyane Wade Deron Williams
  23. Thunderkid and Reject issued an open challenge for the tag team titles on HeldDOWN. I'll go ahead and do the same for Sandman and the HL title, as well. Meaning if you have anyone to offer up for these spots, it would be appreciated.
  24. foleyfan's game is Viewtiful Joe for Gamecube.
  25. Fun match between D*LUX and Vinny/Biff. Very surprising ending, and D*LUX gets a taste of their own medicine. Good interview from Baron/CAE, nice to see Baron on his way back. I wonder who will take on MARV and MEL. Vinny's just all over the party circuit tonight. So, is it a 4-on-3 at the GAB? Should be a really good match either way. Someone's been visiting mostoffensivevideo.com. Very funny stuff with the BHB's/Anglesault/etc. MOTN: Well, there's only one, so D*LUX vs Biff/Vinny. LOTN: "Oh no! If you're feeling funky, go get my medicine bag! The combination to the lock is 62 54 12 90. I want you to get some Tums, which greatly alleviates stomach acid. And I don't advocate abusing drugs, but the red ones are heaven!" - Biff Atlas
