Ok. I thought I should bring it up to people's attention just as a detractor between draft picks. Something to think about is all. Although the league is currently set as a daily league, I'd just thought I should bring something to everyone's attention. As I just found out with my Hockey league, daily is quite differently done than weekly. I'm borrowing from the NFL league, so I might be wrong about this. I'm playing theoriest here. For example, you set up your rosters for the weekly against your said opponent and whoever has the most points wins (or has the most categories where they've got more points). So if I've got 4 of the 7 categories won between my weekly matchup against Gotham Harlequins, I win that match up between us two and become 1-0-0. Well, as I found out in the NHL Smarks League that is running daily, if I've got 4 of the 7 categories, I don't win the head-to-head matchup. But rather, I win those statistical categories. Hence, instead of 1-0-0, I'm 4-3-0. Now, this may not seem like a big deal. But let's put it this way. There are 7 categories and 21 weeks (before playoffs) which is a total of 147 "games" to be played out basically. That's a lot of tracking to think about and trying to place. Why do I bring this up? Because I just want to know if people want to depend more on the actual winnings of categories between the person they are playing (going 7-0 at best), or not depending on scoring the most categories against the person (4-3 at most). Not only that, what if your team has a cold spell? Instead of losing one single game, you could lose 7. On the flip side, you win 7 instead of only one. I just sorta realized this after playing out my NHL season last week and thinking about it. If I would've known about this sooner, and actually took the time to think about it, I wouldn't be making such a big deal out of it. Now then, this is assuming that weekly plays along the lines of NFL format does. So if a lot of thought went into this. I'm really nervous about Thursday, and trying to keep my mind busy. Really sorry if I brought this up for nothing.

You know, I thought this new slogan is bad. Like awfully bad. Worse yet, I WORK there. God, it's awful as hell. I think like 15 people have already said "your commercials suck". I must say that the SNCF commercial so made me think that it was a Tide commerical or some kinda of cleaning company. Yet, I had the mute button on, so that might've helped.

Ok. Now I know you all know I'm now working at McD's, but I'd thought since this is newly out, might as well do a thread about it. My thought on it is, not bad. Better than most crap McD's has had (Hat Trick Sub/Hero Sandwich, ugh) that is like a limited time order. While it is called a Steak N' Cheese Flatbread, it's really a Philly Cheese Steak on a Flatbread. No, I haven't had one, but even my co-workers who've tried it said the exact same thing. Good things about it: ~ Nice and spicy but fine flavouring (yet, you aren't told that) ~ Actually tastes freshly made. Instead of greased fatty crappers. ~ Very filling as by itself it does fill you up (which makes the price a little reasonable) Bad things about it: ~ Steak used in the SNCF usually tastes "inferior" to actually steak you'd cook normally (I attribute that to freezer burn, and probably greased fatty crap. ~ Pricing for it is a little insane. 3.99 for it alone, 5.99 meal (that's Canadian). ~ Usually too much sauce is added to the SNCF and thusly, you'll need to get a drink, regardless if you want one or not. Iffy things about it: ~ Spicy flavouring might not be for everyone. ~ Although it TASTES like a Philly Cheese Steak (again, I'm going with second hand sources on this), it's not even close. Second grade at best. ~ Should have the Steak replaced with the Chicken from the "Lighter Choices Menu's Fajita", as it'd taste better (in my opinion, I prefer the Fajita Chicken). What do you guys think?
