Well I'm currently 4-0 but because I had a game against Boston College that I didn't win decisively, I lost my #1 overall ranking to the Volunteers of Tennesse. I beat up the #3 and #2 at the time, yet I have problems with unranked teams. Why does this figure so much?! I'm so gonna beat up on #25 Wake Forest and reclaim my #1 ranking the following week (6). Gr...

Yeah, it's a either you love it or hate it. However, its one of those that I think a lot of people will love more than hate. As long as you survive Episode 1 (which in reality is like 11, I think). That's the backbreaker, but also the one that weeds out the people who won't be fans.

For people who love anime, I recommend them watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (aka Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu). This is an awesome show and you'll really enjoy it. I'd say more, but I could never do it justice. Oh and I'd just like to note that the episodes are not in order, but are done that way because its sorta like that in the novels. So go watch The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya! And then become a member of the S.O.S. Brigade like me.

Ok, I knew that trade to get Linden was bad, but I didn't really stop to think about how bad until now. How in the hell do the Islanders even win games when they do shit like that is a wonder to me.

If you get fired, just go get hired by another team. BTW, no the momentum being even isn't a glitch. If they've had momentum for that long, they can build up on it. I don't think EA created a ceiling for how much momentum a team can earn. So its actually broken in that regards. Reason I say this is because during my first year when I played GT and had to come from a 24-0 with 2 minutes to go in the first half (24-7 at half) deficit to win 35-30, I never got the momentum back until I actually passed GT with the winning TD.

Oh wee, now I can commit credit fraud while no one's looking. Awesome times. ...seriously, this is really stupid.

You can easily get around this by skipping over the animation sequences for it. It helps, trust me. I just do it automatically now if I know which players are showboaters. Bah, I didn't mean to double post, I meant to edit my original one... Bah...

Actually, my academics is still a 6, even though my program is now a 2. I'd let Sanders and Hunter (HB) go except I depend on them so much. Especially Sanders, because he's my Steve Smith (although better).
-
I used my coaching style as a pitch to many players and they seem to like it. That and having 6/6 for academics I think also helps my cause. Yes, Canadian teams automatically get 6* for academics it seems. I'm actually disappointed with my recruiting to be honest. I didn't really upgrade at any position and my pickups haven't really made much of an impact. Not one of them is a capable starter and most aren't really gonna be starting anytime soon. I'm more worried about this because this upcoming season I just know I'll have even more of a turn over with guys leaving for the pro-draft again. Hell, my Heisman winning WR, Danny Sanders, for sure is probably leaving and I don't think I can convince him to return. My starting QB, Tupea, is leaving as well due to graduation. And the replacements for both men don't make me feel comfortable, especially when I red-shirted 3 players on WR because they are seniors.

Great... So Ohio State is supposed to be that tough, eh? I haven't played them at all yet, so I shall hope it is a good game. Shall be intesting to see how the #3 team for Year 2 stacks up against me the #1 team. I'm expecting a grueling war. Although, I'm still wondering how in the hell Penn State gets the #2 ranking.

I started prestige at cupcake, modified the roster to balanced. So it wasn't a pushover team to start with. I treated it just like a real Canadian team getting chance to play in the NCAA. I'm currently running a 3-4 defense (well, its 3-3-5, but I'm switching that to 3-4 since I run most 3-4 plays) with Clemson's playbook (the team I took out). The playbook fits me like a glove, so I'm quite happy about that.

Well, I just started my Year 2 and did a good job in the recruiting process (23rd out of 119). Got the players I needed for the most part and converted players to other positions to cover what I didn't have. Although, I lost like 7 of my starters because of graduation, and then 6 wanted to ditch for the pro draft. I only managed to convince 1 of the 6 to return, but man I lost some great players. Wonder where they are gonna land in the draft. I'm somehow ranked #1 overall for the upcoming season, so I booked any tough teams I could manage for my open weeks and landed Ohio State (#3) and Penn State (#2) and with a schedule of A+ I should be assured of getting to the big game.

The One And Only Grandia III Thread!

Nah, I was just trying to keep it on task as long as possible, SO. Just cause I figured a mod would come around. Actually, I got past the temple, so yes, I know it was bad. I quit just after the temple after the second "God". Ok, so that was a lot longer than I said I played for but I didn't want to admit I gave the game some hope that it would redeem itself. So utter anarchy eh? Wow, that's ... basically the same as it was the last time I was here. -
I agree with atomsk. Its not really a big deal and besides, if they were that far behind in production, they'll just release a flawed product to make a few bucks that will likely take a chunk of their "fanbase" away. Not a bad move by THQ.

The One And Only Grandia III Thread!

So still same old concerning this folder. That's good to know. Means I'll still love chatting it up here. ...and to continually be on topic, did anyone wanna kill the lead girl's VA? I mean she was brutal on the ears. Then again all the VAs weren't that good, but her's took the cake. -
If there's someone who's not returning, I'd like to make a comeback to the league.

The One And Only Grandia III Thread!

What? I thought mods closed things. Oh wait... This place still has no mod, doesn't it? Figures as much. Ahem, keeping on topic, I think the only thing I liked about Grandia III was probably the battles, they were fun and pretty good overall. Quite fast and quick. About the only thing that was good out of the game. Cause even the music wasn't that good. -
The One And Only Grandia III Thread!

;; Good to be back... Actually. And to continually keep this on topic, yes, yes this really did suck that badly. Avoid this game at all costs. *just knows some mod is coming to close this anytime soon* -
Since I'm back, might as well make up for lost time. Got the game and created an ACC team named the Toroto Blue Raiders... Before I continue, yes my naming of teams sucks. Shoot me. And yes, with the lame name comes the lamest jerseys ever. I strive hard to make the worst the best. Anyways, I managed to go 13-0, beating up on only 2 ranked teams, and my opponents having a record that was like .400. I'm the only undefeated team in the NCAA. I have the Heisman Trophy winner of a WR who had over 3000 yards receiving and when the season is over likely 5000 yards all-purpose (because he's also my return man). He almost had all the first place votes locked up for a stunningly strong win. You would think that I get a National Title game, right? Of course not. I get jobbed out to #7 overall and face PITT in the Orange Bowl. Stupid BCS.

I was sorta expecting you to show up to say something. ;; Sadly, I actually remember that. And to keep this on topic, I don't think I ever got past the temple because the game just kept making me wanna cry. I never played a video game I wanted to chuck out the window before, but this one did. -
The One And Only Grandia III Thread!

The game wasn't bad. Until after you make it to the main land. It crashes from there into a realm of badness that you just can't return from. Grandia Xtreme was better than Grandia III. Which considering how bad GX was, says a lot about III. -
...and before you ask Anya, Tekken 5 and Street Fighter II had the same total, but SFII got the go ahead due to having a first place vote.
-
Correct CronoT. That's pretty much the weighting system involved. And really, the list came out far better than I thought it would to be honest. Considering there was around 220 games that got voted for, this isn't half bad. I can actually increase the list by an extra 20 for the sake of wondering what made Top 50 should anyone wish it.
-
Yes, that is correct... Weighted system, and Chrono Trigger got enough overall votes in the weighted system to win. ...should be noted that Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time had the most first place votes. Jer a lot of games if the voting consolodated into one of the particular series of games, would've gotten higher. Hell, combine all the votes for all the Zelda games into 1, and you would've had a Zelda game come in first.

Why'd you do that?
