3 or more days usually does it. I'm a toilet clogging machine. Continental Airlines I actually like a lot, and they tend to be the cheapest to fly out of Anchorage, but sadly I don't fly them because A. I'm an airmiles whore for Alaska Airlines airmiles, and all instate travel on the big planes is only on Alaska so I'm kind of fucked there, and B. In Anchorage they're in the North terminal, which is god awful and I do my best to never have to fly in or out of it. NWA on the other hand (I wonder if you can fly them straight out of Compton?) I have had nothing but bad experiences with them pretty much every time I've flown on their planes.

Re: Hotels - I'm the same way for the most part. I keep the DND sign on 99% of the time, and don't care about maid service except when I'm staying for a long time, because I'll need more toilet paper and such. So in those cases I'll make sure to leave the room one or two of the mornings, but most of the time I don't care and just leave the DND up. Re: Planes and luggage - Ugg. And it's only going to get worse as airlines start charging for checked baggage. If the airlines would actually enforce their carry-on baggage size limits this wouldn't be as much of a problem. My favorite is when the overhead bin is full, and you can't put anything in front of you under the seat because you're at a bulkhead seat. Well that's not true, my favorite is when the guy is pounding on his, and your, luggage to try to get his obviously oversized piece of luggage into the overhead bin, and the flight crew tells him he has to check it and he starts yelling "NO NO NO IT'LL FIT!" It's glorious to see their look of anger the rare time the flight crew actually does force them to check it. Just curious, what airline were you flying?

Like this morning Smuesette made the mistake of leaving the window open, so the cat had been sitting on the window hissing at the landlord's cat that was outside, so the fucker spent the rest of the morning (while I was trying to sleep) meowing like a banshee and trying to get back to the window. The dog on the other hand is stupid and 'out of sight out of mind' works magically and he'd have forgotten about the window in 10 seconds.
