  1. I can understand the argument about the anti-climatic IYH finish. But I dug the story of how Hart was completely spent (partially due to blood loss) and was desperate to win the match anyway he could. Plus immediately after the match, Bulldog was sucking wind to make it appear that his tank was on E as well.
  2. I think Rumble 1992 has a lot more nostalgia to those who saw it live on ppv rather than years later. Back then, the odds of someone going an hour (kayfabed or not) and winning were next to nothing. Plus, the WWF Title was on the line and there were several legit contenders who could have won it . . . Hogan, Taker, Flair, Justice, Savage, & Piper (especially since he won the IC Title that night) were main threats. Plus, Monsoon/Heenan were brilliant in creating an exciting and historic atmosphere for the match. Finally, seeing every person come from the curtain and make a beeline for Flair was entertaining in its own right.
  3. They did show Raven vs. Funk from Barely Legal.
  4. I enjoyed the IYH match more also. Loved the physicality and the continunity in regards to the SS92 match (Diana in the corner, same tights for DBS, and I believe he tried the same cradle which won it for him in Wembley). The SS92 came across more like a wrestling exhibition whereas IYH came across more like a championship fight.
  5. Who are you to doubt El Dandy. He is a hell of a wrestler and a all-round knock up guy. That's just silly. Dandy isn't even under WWE contract. They should get Hypnosis! He's a high flyer of the highest magnitude!
  6. Ironically, I have the PSP version of it and have Jake unlocked. Unfortunately, I hardly play the game since the loading times are almost unbrearable on PSP.
  7. Tajiri vs. Corino from Hardcore Heaven definitely would have been perfect for this set. Even as a face, Tajiri was such a dick mocking how Corino was losing seemingly pints of blood. Speaking of awesomeness from Tajiri, the match against Justin Credible from TNN where he just kicks the shit out of Francine just to be a bastard was awesome. And I'm not one that particularly enjoys watching man-on-woman violence but that was an excemption.
  8. The creative team hired her? Not good ol Johnny Ace?
  9. The Mama's Family tune would be the most over WWE theme in 6 weeks or less. Definitely have to bring in Bubba as long as he wears the old shirts w/ "Bubba" embroidered on it in cursive w/ suspenders. Mature Bubba wasn't nearly as fun. *Vint and Naomi are peckin in the background* Show: Hey Mama, I told some of the other superstars I'd play Texas Hold Em w/ them after the show. Mama: You WHAT?!? Bubba: Grandma, can I go to the divas lockerroom? Mama: Youuuu keep your hormone-filled BUTT right here where I can track ya. *spots Vint/Naomi makin out* Goooood Lord Vint, it looks like you're playin tonsil hockey over here. Show: So, can I go? Mama: No, you idiot! I already told the church ladies you were pulling the numbers for bingo tonight. Show: Tonight? But Maahhhhmahhhh . . . I already told the guys I was gonna be there. *Bubba runs off* Mama: Well, you better tell them to go stick their playing cards up their . . . . where the hell is Bubba? BUBBA!!! BUBBA!!! Dammit, I'm goin back home. *cue Mama's Family tune*
  10. I got it from wweshop.com. It comes with a white ECW t-shirt. I consider it buying a t-shirt and getting a 2-disc ECW set for free.
  11. Hey, they're supposed to be bad gimmicks!
  12. Randy Orton: The Father You Wish Your Kids Had
  13. Even worse than Thunder?

  15. I did dig how Jim looks to be getting over Pam by telling Kelly to do the same w/ Ryan. "Valentine's Day isn't over because tonight . . you are going to get the best sex of your life." --- Gotta love Roy.
  16. I loved IRS's favorite standby quote . . . "I know why you people cheer the likes of (his opponent). It's because he cheats on his taxes JUST LIKE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!"

  19. And only Orton would still do the turnbuckle pose of blandola after all that.
  20. Eddie would've wanted it this way . . . Just wanted to get that line out of the way.
  21. Of course if a wrestler gets fat while still active, he must be "bulking up" per Monsoon.
  22. Yeah, it was stock/production music companies can license out for use. In 1998/9, Marc Mero and Renegade had the exact same theme. I believe it's titled "Rough Rock". If a late 1990s WCW theme wasn't ripping off an already famous tune, it was probably production music.
  23. No, it was from a Wrestling Challenge taping originally aired on Prime Time Wrestling . . . I think it was PTW.
  24. If ya really want to stretch it, it was 3 straight weeks as Arn got a DQ win over Hogan the week after he pinned him.
  25. *Cue the triumphant Price is Right theme*
