  1. Eh, at least he didn't have to job to OMG's 747. Though I've always felt the tournament format loses something when there isn't at least one face/face or heel/heel matchup. I'm thinking Vince's point of view (other than just fucking over Steamboat) was that he may have been a bit leery of Steamboat w/ Bonnie and son getting cheered as much as Savage w/ Elizabeth.
  2. The heat Sylvia got when he mentioned his 'injury' was fuckin great!
  3. IIRC, he took 337 punches to the head and probably didn't land 1/2 of that himself. I thought they would end it the round after the 57-4(ish) punch count round.
  4. Teddy Atlas yelling "REF! REF!!! STOP THE FIGHT!!!!" reminded me of Rocky IV where Apollo's cornerman is trying to convince Rocky to "Throw the damn towel!".
  5. The only episode I remember somewhat vividly was when Baby grew a horn on his head from eating too much sugar but everyone thought the horn made him the king. Kinda weird. He also referred to Earl as Daddy for once.
  6. But for the first month in a LONG time, they didn't recycle any matches. It is nice to have Steamboat/Savage a mouse click away.
  7. Don't worry Venkman, I got the reference . . . hey, is that Tina Fey?
  8. That was some righteous heat during the Warrior/Savage match.
  9. The Savage/Santana series of the Spring of 1986 Strike Force vs Hart Foundation - 11/87 Jim Duggan vs Randy Savage - 10/89
  10. Agreed there. Didn't he put Mysterio out of action in kayfabe? I don't remember anyone fondly comparing A-Train to Vader then.
  11. Actually, it was the snakebite attack that pushed Tunney to reinstate Savage.
  12. I thought Jimmy Hart had a nice shoot. Comes across as very appreciative to the fans and also enthusiastic about doing the interview. Its as if he offered to do the interview for free so he can tell stories.
  13. Not quite, but I have that board game. Haven't played it in ages . . . mostly because I don't know anyone that would tolerate sitting around playing a WWF board game. I used to have the Acclaim one but I must have thrown the game out eons ago. Luckily, I still have the tape that came w/ it.
  14. I would have loved for Sharmell to work the line "That certainly sounds . . delicious" somewhere in the sketch.
  15. If the spot was taken from TNT, it is great. They are so awful yet so good at what they're trying to accomplish. Also, watch for a certain uncoothe gesture from Mean Gene.
  16. Definitely appreciate the help, but the logo was used between the one Teg posted and DrainYou42 posted. But thank you very much for the help.
  17. Damn right. The Bomb Angels and Velvet McEntyre were tremendous at SurSer87 w/ Sherri and the Glamour Girls also carrying their weight so to speak.
  18. I believe it was JBL that ended Lashley's streak w/ the help of Finlay.
  19. Thanks for the heads up. Don't go out of your way but if you can, it'd be great.
  20. Not to be an asshole, but that's not correct. They do sound similiar due to saxophones in both tunes, but if you go back and compare them, you'll see that they're two entirely different themes. Sorry I couldn't get a sample of Bam Bam's theme.
  21. I figure it'd be a nice night for a walk.
  22. I'll probably cave in and get it as well. Plus, for $2 extra, it comes w/ the Royal Rumble 2007 shirt which actually doesn't look bad . . . for $2.
  23. I lost track after the tank top.
