I just finished re-reading the first volume of his Roosevelt series. He mentioned on a Cspan interview a few years back that he planned to finish the remaining volumes, hopefully at least some of that material can be released posthumously.

His story is more of a well-documented example of an artist really struggling to avoid a sophomore slump than it actually occuring. I wouldn't have been surprised if no more than a few Sketches tracks would have actually made his final cut.

I agree with that. It should be acknowledged that 'ageism' exists but it is something that is actually warranted. No, not all kids are 'punks' but it is fair enough (though plenty annoying at the time) to be held to a higher standard if we choose to rent/etc at a younger age. Sure was a fun senior year, though!

Jeff Buckley really struggled to make a cd worthy of following Grace. The two disc set (Sketches...) that ended up being posthumously released was, in my opinion, a solid indication that My Sweetheart the Drunk would have been quite good had he lived to complete it. In any case he seemed to really struggle with the idea of a possible sophomore slump.

wtf? Where did I say anything like that all? Unbelievable. If I think classism exists then must I also think every poor person should be given a million dollars or some other bullshit. Where do you come up with some of your nonsense, Invader? Seriously. It was a struggle for me to get an apt as a high school senior. I had plenty of references, job history, income, and cash for security deposit & first 2 months rent...but it took alot of extra work and funny looks and insults. I certainly don't think ANYONE should be given a house/apt 'no questions asked' though I am quite confidant you'll find some way to assume that I do.
