No Mark McGwire for me. I still don't get why Blyleven isn't in. And Tim Raines deserves to go in first year.

Sounds like piling-on to me.

Looks like there's plenty of substance. I personally don't see any problem with declared voters (even for candidates of the opposing party) asking questions at debates or town halls but having a campaign worker, from an opposition campaign, planted in the audience to ask a lengthy question about a known GOP bankruptcy is pretty bad.

Best debate of the campaign so far.

That was pretty rough.

First or second tenure? Both terms, as with any other multi-term president. I give Cleveland points for doing something rare in American politics- coming back from a controversial loss (and Cleveland was the incumbent, no less) to win the office. President Grover was pretty interesting. Not an 'all-time' president, but 'good'.

Bill Clinton didn't seem to have any problem covering up those 47 murders, though.

The University of Wisconsin is really struggling this semester.

I really hope Milwaukee decides against putting Derrick Turnbow back in the closer role. I'd rather they tried Capuano there, or McClung, or a rookie. They should've traded Turnbow for scrap to free up some spare cash for Cordero.

I'm planning to finally get to that next.

I would put Grover Cleveland in my top 10.

Favre is the most valuable player; Brady will win the award for his stats. Maybe Brett Favre will find himself on the fortunate end of "co-winners" of the MVP trophy again.

Maybe all this will hit me tomorrow.

Did this board get as emotional when Javon Walker's friend died? I don't remember.

Lincoln's singular purpose of mind was the preservation of the Union. He had said he would free all or none of the slaves depending on how it would effect the Union. Personally, he was very strongly opposed to slavery and pre-presidential statements/speeches attest to that. He was not, however, of the mind that blacks & whites were equal.
