  1. Obama's approval ratings?
  2. I don't think that other countries' failures is what we should be aiming for.
  3. The economy is doing just fine for the oil industry.
  4. I wonder if all high-ranking members of the State Department talk like that.
  5. Obama's former pastor is the new YARRRGH!
  6. The media is just replaying this every single minute because they think it will actually help Obama in the long run.
  7. "Those that want to be deluded will be deluded no matter what they are told." My favorite John Kennedy quote.
  8. It was a historic speech. But those who dislike Obama because his skin is darker than their's, his name sounds different, or someone told them that he's a Muslim through a mouthful of chewing tobacco aren't going to change their vapid philosophies no matter what.
  9. People actually say stuff like that on other sites/real-life and aren't just doing a Colbert thing. And others take them seriously and believe they lead lives far more important than just typing up sophomoric names and hate-gibberish online.
  10. I froze when I read that Agent of Oblivion wanted to shoot the Bush Jr Administration.
  11. Is that you, Undersecretary of State Marney?
  12. Damn, that was a ballsy speech by Obama. Of course, the Liberal Media That Loves Him will still continue to replay the Rev. Wright shit a million times a day.
  13. I'm a hooligan-shaped Irish-American (is that the right term?) and I can see where you're coming from on this, Czech.
  14. This David Gregory show is already pissing me off.
  15. And eat potatoes.
  16. 2 more Americans died today. 32 Iraqis.
  17. This is the same country that allowed themselves to be easilly deluded in 1964, 1972, 2000, 2002, 2004...how have they miraculously gained the ability to see bullshit for what it is in time for 2008?
  18. Coincidentally, WW2 cost America three trillion dollars (adjusted). Now, some people might argue that we had a much larger force, more theatres, and that that war was actually necessary, but John Boehner wouldn't! He'd tell us that this is just one more reason why we need to stay in Iraq forever. Of course, there was corruption in WW2 spending. The difference there was that Harry Truman was given an important sub-committee in the Senate to investigate it. Can anybody imagine this "conservative" president appointing one of the "conservative" senators from his party to reign in some of this spending?
  19. I took off my sweatshirt not long ago. Earlier in the day I had put my sunglasses on the neck of the shirt. As I usually do, I forgot that the glasses were there when I removed the shirt. While pulling it off briskly the sunglasses, simple WalMart aviators, scraped against my forehead. It is now bleeding. I feel like a cartoon sometimes.
  20. Is this the millionth attempt to get back into this messageboard?
  21. I'm starting to sort of see where you're coming from on this, Czech.
  22. Not only isn't he your coach, he's not even a coach.
  23. Hey, now!
  24. Nobel Prize winner Joseph E. Stiglitz and Harvard professor Linda J. Bilmes have authored a new book that backs up my earlier statements that this war will cost no less than three trillion dollars. Depending on the outcome of this November, it could easilly go well beyond even that. Do you see why I'm supporting Obama as the ONLY candidate who can legitimately lower taxes (at least for the vast majority of payers), Czech? I don't mean to come off as a dick, I like you and all, but there is no way that either McCain or Hillary (who still defends her vote and the concept of nation-building) can do anything but raise the tax burden upon the majority with that kind of historically huge expense going on. No matter what those candidates say about themselves or Obama, ending this insane expense will be the only way to get a real tax cut. Three trillion dollars and the strong possibility of going up even beyond that. Unreal.
